I went into the store and was greeted by Lennie (sorry if I misspelled it!). She was very personable and friendly, and she would recognize me at later visits which made the experience of using Genesis amazing and like catching up with an old friend. I told her what I was thinking about and she grabbed Sid, the store manager (I think), who walked with me back to the car. Sid is incredibly knowledgeable and upfront. I told him what I was thinking and he gave me some options on what I could do. Initially looking at the XPEL Stealth, he demonstrated on my car what it could look like by placing a small strip of it. He pointed out the little, specks of sparkle in the grey paint of my car that made it unique and expressed that putting the stealth on the car will remove that. I ended up changing my mind and went with the Llumar Valor PPF which had integrated ceramic coating, more neutral PPF color tone that accentuated the sparkle in the OEM paint, and added the Windshield skin to protect the OEM windshield (much cheaper than later replacing the full OEM windshield + calibration). Sid did not pressure me for these options nor felt like a salesman. He gave me the information and I led myself to the natural decision of what I wanted for my car. (Was very close to getting a green PPF wrap, but the OEM colour is too good!) Dealing with Genesis was incredibly personable and upfront. Sid answered my questions about price ranges of PPF jobs that I've seen online, walked me through the process, and was very communicative. I even asked about lower priced competitors and their closest competitor in Yelp ratings. He did not badmouth them, and even complimented their competitor for doing great jobs on the cars he's seen. That integrity is what sold me on using Genesis. I didn't even go to their competitor when I had originally planned to because the service was that good. Anyway. Genesis is awesome and I recommend them for future PPF jobs and tinting services!

At the appointment, the team was incredibly patient and took their time walking me through the options again. What stood out most was their willingness to show me cars similar to mine so I could visually compare tint levels before deciding. They're clearly Tesla specialists and are very familiar with my car. I swear I kill half the bug population on the causeway. I used Yelp to shop different installers in the Roseville area. Gold Wurks was one of the first to reply. GW has been installing PPF for over 20 years. I dealt mainly with Christine and she was very communicative about the services, products and timing. She worked with me on my schedule and answered all my questions in a timely manner. Her customer service was one of the reasons I chose GW. I felt she offered the fairest price for the most quality product: Xpel Ultimate Plus. Xpel is considered one of the leaders in PPF with 10 year warranty and self healing properties. Also they could do the install in one day. The protected the following: hood, fenders, front bumper, headlights, frontside of rear view mirrors, luggage strip on back bumpers and door edges. While the quality of the product is important, the quality of install is even more important. GW did an excellent job. The seams were clean and the ends were tight and nicely fitted. My pictures do not do their work justice. To that point, I hired a Detailer (also a PPF installer) to work on my car. That Detailer said they did a really clean install job. I also found out GW installs for a lot of the luxury dealers in the area like Volvo and Porsche. What's inappropriate is refusing to stand behind your work when a customer raises legitimate concerns after spending around $7,500 on a full vehicle wrap and related services. My intention was simply to have a professional conversation and give you the opportunity to inspect the areas I mentioned. Multiple installers have already pointed out the same issues with visible edges and areas that were not properly tucked. That's not an accusation--it's a quality concern.
