I miss my post office in Cypress (90630). They had happy workers there. The workers at this location don't smile. So serious!

I was a little hesitant to try this post office because of the mediocre reviews. However there is ample parking, plenty of packing supplies, and I moved through the line steadily and quickly. The staff were pleasant and I was able to get in and out of the post office within five minutes. read more

We came in to get a passport done for our baby. We were told by first person at front desk to wait for passport clerk to come back at 12pm to see if he can accommodate us with no appt (we had called in ahead and were not advised an appt was needed). She says people have been squeezed in the schedule before so we decided to wait until noon. 12pm rolls around, no passport personnel but another staff came out to give us the run around that he will be back at 12:15pm. Waiting for over half an hour another person named Baljeet came out whom was the customer service supervisor and abruptly states "what's your problem maam" and another run around on how her passport employee will be late and how it's not my problem and she will not help me. I nearly wanted to cry at this point. Why is this not my problem??? My husband, baby, and I have been waiting now for almost an hour and was told that we could wait to see if there will be any openings for us. We finally see the customer service door open and what we thought was the face of hope, the passport personnel comes out at 12:30pm, Suckchain was his name but he came out with Baljeet and unfortunately both came out with irritability and rage on their faces. Much to my dismay, he was more enraged and pompous than Baljeet not letting me have in a word and constantly interjected. I just wanted to make a request to have my baby's passport done, why are these people giving us such a hard time?! This whole ordeal took over an hour and a half and was excruciating and cringe worthy. I cannot sleep because of it and because it lives vividly in my mind, I must use my voice in hopes that changes can be made. As a customer, we deserve answers and if it cannot be met there should be a remedy in place to not let us walk out the way we had to. From the time Baljeet walked out of that door with her disgruntled demeanor, we did not feel like a customers but rather pests, belittled and treated wrong the moment we were seen, not giving us even an ounce of any benefit of the doubt. Baljeet and Suckchain clearly does not care for the customers and treats them as if they are a nuisance to them. I completely understand that things arise and customers expectations cannot always be met, but do better, be better to deal with these situations. These two staff members behavior was extremely inappropriate. Yes I am a frustrated mom who tried to get a passport done for my baby that we had everything prepared ahead of time for, give me one word of understanding, an opportunity to explain, but not one note of compassion just sheer hostility from these two. Perhaps it's the fact that I work directly in customer service myself that I must blame these two for their actions and failure to mitigate a customers concern. Customer service representatives like these two needs quick reprimanding and remediation. If you really don't like customers maybe direct customer service is not the right field for you. It seems like it's their goal to waste your time. Some of the post office employees have no sense of urgency. Occasionally I get a good one, but my last two visits have been so frustrating. Worst service I have ever seen. Stood in line foe an hour to get a package after holding down the bell for a long period of time this lady answered the window with food in her mouth. I tried calling the office today before they closed and it just kept ringing. We have been waiting for a package and a specific letter for two days now so I went to go track the package and it showed that they tried coming to our house twice (yesterday and today). I've been home both days as well as have cameras outside of our house and no one has tried coming to our door. We also have not had a mail carrier out to our house for two days. I haven't had this issue with our old carrier in a different location in Rocklin as well as never had this issue in Roseville. Very disappointing. Now I'm going to have to take off work to go in person to have this issue resolved. read more

Every time I have been in here the line is almost to the door. I came in the other day to mail a package and decided to venture on over to the USPS in Old Town Roseville after seeing around 15 people waiting in line. When I got to the Vernon location there wasn't a single person in line. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. read more

Sorry to report a very big problem with this USPS Post Office . For years no problems with all packages ordered from overseas Ebay . It started last week , It looks to be an internal problem with The theft or misappropriation of around 70 of my Ebay packages only coming from overseas items that up until last week were delivered with no problem . It seems very peculiar that only The USPS tracking numbers are traceable and there seems to be an insider here who understands Ebay Shipping SPEEDPAK numbers can not be traced . Over 30 different vendors have shipped from overseas Ebay packages that normally have always been delivered are now showing tracking delivered yet are mysteriously not being delivered . Very sad for our city of Rocklin to have these THIEVES in our community . Also very sad to all the good Postal Workers who do a great job all year read more

There have been several times when she's come to our door to drop off a package or clarify an address to ensure it is truly our mail. I usually have an okay experience here but lately (and I understand it is the holiday season) they have been slipping. I went last week and there was a line of 10 people. There was 1 guy over to the side working on something, a lady across the waiting counter fixing up a box, and another lady next to her filling out an overnight. I was third in line with small children. They called the first person in line up and then the guy that was off to the side filling out a form comes over and tells the attendant he is ready and when she is done helping her current customer she takes him! Not the lady that is next in line who has her package appropriately ready. After he is done - the lady that was doing the boxing turns and says she is ready and the attendant takes her NEXT! Still not the lady in front of me. After she is done with her which involved taping and labeling, the lady with the overnight package is standing and looking at the attendant and the attendant CALLS HER OVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So to sum up - you do not have to have your package ready - just go up and get your advice and new box or new form and then you get to cut in line when you are actually ready. The people behind me were getting frustrated and the line had gotten much longer - I was mildly frustrated because I was second in line (well technically fifth if you count all the others who cut ahead). I have lived all over this country and even small towns and when there is a line I was always told to go to the back of the line and sometimes I would just come back later if the line was too long. And that is how it should be - there is no reward for doing it right the first time and expediting everyone's day at this post office. read more

My regular carrier must be on vacation again, overtime he is off I get other people's mail. This time apparently my credit card was delivered somewhere else. Rocklin postal carriers are terrible. I get letters all bent up/crushed pretty often as if the carrier has beat the mail to the end of the box with their fist. Just recently I left a bent up/crushed letter in the box. I thought maybe when the postal carrier saw the letter the next day they would lighten up on bending/crushing my mail. Well the next day the letter was gone. I guess I won't do that again since I expected the letter to still be there. I guess the carrier could have thought the bent/crushed letter was outgoing but there is a separate outgoing box. I don't get why a carrier would bend/crush my mail when the mailbox isn't anywhere near full. read more

If you're looking for help do not go to this post office they do not take any of their customers seriously. When asked to help open a mail box they gave me spin and told me that i could not access my own mail box until the next when my package of medicine that i need arrived today. OK, This is the 4 month in a row I have recieved my Better Homes and Garden magazine with the cover and first few pages all bent, folded, and riped, where i can"t even read it let alone put it on my coffee table. I don't know if it's the post master when he puts in in our little mail box cluster or if it's the transportation. No other magazines or mail I receive is in this shape when I receive them. This is bar none the worst post office ever, no lie. I send packages quite a bit and have had numerous issues in the few months of using their service(resided in Rocklin less than a year). The indian lady who i guess manages this branch does not understand or gets the idea of what customer services is about or represents(either on the phone or in person). Lost mail, oh well. Missing packages, don't blame this office. No one takes any responsibility. I have never had major problems with my mail till i used the services of this post office. read more
