Still prefer the Claremont or La Verne post offices but I did stop by today to post some mail through the inside mail slot and saw these cute reindeer in the lobby. Had to post a picture. read more

Got "full mail box notice" saying that they are keeping all the mails, so I need to pick them up at this location. The notice said that the mails will be sent back to sender if I don't pick the up. So.. Went to this location to pick up my mails. They made me stand there and wait for almost 20 minutes while they are checking for the mails. Guess what answer they gave me "I don't see anything" She sounds like she is unsure if my mails are there or she can't find it, and all she can do is throwing me the phone number of this location to call back and check if my mails are here Spent almost 40 minutes at this post office because of this stupid full mail box notice. They apparently don't know what they are doing. read more

Don't stop here at all!!! Go anywhere but here. The employees act as if they are superior. Relax you work at the post office. I understand being mad at that but it is your job to help people even to just answer a question they want you to get on line. Yeah a line of 10 people. Because they are too busy picking their nose. Not only that it's ghetto. They allow homeless inside so you are getting harassed by money. No way NEVER stopping here again read more

They will legit blame you to sending broken packages. They accidentally sent my package to NY and then back to CA and it was shattered and they blamed me for it. Their customer service is a joke and their tellers in the front don't give a fuck about their jobs and they take it out on customers tryna run a business. This place is some bullshit read more

Not very helpful. I'm just looking for a change of address form. Is that like the number one thing you're supposed to have here. Grateful I don't live here. Sure you can go online but they're gonna charge you . One more place I have to put a credit card so annoying. read more

So it's been about 13 days. We have not received mail at our location. Apt community. And due to my work schedule I usually miss the postman. After finally catching him today. He informed me that there is a key broken in the section that my box is located which opens about 10-12 people's mailbox. How sad is it that every day. A postman comes to the location. Sees a broken key and just decides to no notify anyone. Residents or post office that the issue need attention. What a bunch of lazy ass people. This is the quality of customer service we have come to expect out of the Pomona location. Someone needs to look into this place. read more

Adrian was super helpful, patient, and kind! He even helped me bring large boxes to the truck. He answered each question I had too. Mail has been lost for more then a week. I'm supposed to receive mail but haven't gotten any. I've been checking it everyday because I get the emails showing what I'm suppose to receive. So went into the post office and had to wait for the supervisor. Supervisor took awhile to come out. When she did. She had an attitude. She said she asked the carrier and they said they didn't have my mail. Did an address changed. Now I have to change my address for everything. I don't know where my mail has been going. read more

I'm about ready to go to this post office again to try and submit a temporary mail stop. I dread it and think I'm spinning my wheels. The last 4-5 that I have been there, filled out the form for the period of time that I want the mail stopped, the mail never stops. This resulted in one occasion my mail being stolen because, even though I have a locked box, if enough mail is put in, it can be stolen. My neighbor called the police and I got it back. What can you do? You follow their procedures, fill out the form, they review it and accept it. What is so hard about this? read more

So my situation began in October when I came to apply for my passport. I won't speak much on their customer service because the bar is pretty low for any government agency. I filled out my paperwork and then thought they would simply need a copy of my birth certificate but they wanted the entire thing to mail off. I didn't have a good feeling about that ...fast forward 3 months later and I get a call from the Dept. Of Passports - Los Angeles, stating that I need to monitor my credit because someone's probably walking around with all my information. read more

Worst post office ever. The carrier we had was a thief. He was the only one we had ever had for any length of time. Yesterday I was supposed to receive a package. We have informed delivery. It arrived at the post office, then it was out for delivery, then the status changed to insufficient address. The remainder of the day it still said it would be delivered by 9pm. I called the 800 number today and they didn't have any answers for me. They said they would open a claim. I called the branch 13 times. Nobody answers. It rings until it finally disconnects you. I just checked again and now it says returned to sender. This is all showing up on my informed delivery, which means they have the tracking number which I confirmed with the 800 number, pulls up my address. They are updating it in the system, so they know exactly where this package should be going. This is pure incompetence! When we first moved to Pomona a few years ago, the wicked witch that works there yelled at me when I asked for a piece of tape and told me I would need to purchase an entire roll. I have NEVER had a post office refuse to give me a piece of tape when I'm mailing something. I leave my packages unsealed until I get there so that I can make sure I am mailing it in the most efficient way. I do not give my business to Pomona anymore. I go out of my way to go to La Verne or Claremont. They don't treat everyone like criminals. They smile and don't act like miserable zombies. read more

While the service is adequate, I am extremely disappointed in their COVID 19 safety measures. Several patrons were permitted in the building without masks, and although the are safe social distance markers placed throughout the building, no one was monitoring it. People were bunched up in line practically on top of each other. Also, as many other establishments have sanitizer located in their buildings, the post office didn't have any anywhere, and the office is dirty. I stopped by this location on my way to work, and I can honestly say I will never come back. read more

This is the second time this has happened I was trying receive to receive a package. We were home all day have a ring doorbell When we went outside the notice on the door said no one here to receive. Reality they never actually attempted it. We have the video record I now have to figure out how to get it. As I can't on their app of phone change delivery instructions as their system is down for maintenance If it happened once it's happened to me more than t once. So I will try the post office tomorrow and see if we can rescue the packages read more

This post office is a sad example of how low socioeconomic communities receive subpar services. Cross over to the border in La Verne and they have a fully functioning staff as well as the kiosk where you can get receipts. However this antiquated one consistently has very long lines, one or two people max working and only one guy who mans the drop offs- and often disappears and can not be found. Do you want to get a receipt for your package in case it's lost (which these days is actually quite likely)- well- too bad you usually have to wait in a line of 10 people for a small task that a kiosk could provide. The saving grace is usually the very nice and humorous workers at the counter. I don't blame them for the inefficient ways of working at this post office, I blame their postmaster and the post office in general for not prioritizing very busy post office is such as this. read more

Hi there well I just want to say good work Pomona post office ! I had a service request to find a package that was scanned as delivered but i never got it , so I was very concerned , I was wondering where my package was . So I called the post office and the lady called me back the next day and was very helpful and concerned herself and apologized and said she is gonna make sure the package is found, and the next day I got my package and she even called and to check if I received it that they had the carriers look for it . And it was found so yes very satisfied. She seem to care and was very sweet . If it ever happens to you please call and ask for a service request read more

Do not use this post office if you have something important to mail out! Came in the other week and personally handed an envelope to the clerk to mail out which happened to have a check inside. Get a text from my landlord a couple days later to come to find out that the check was stolen from the envelope and the post office mailed the envelope in a secure post office bag from the post office, which clearly indicates that someone at this post office stole the check!! This left me having to change my bank account numbers and update all my automatic payments, etc which took me hours and a headache to do! After this incident and reading the other reviews this office has a shady employee and someone needs to investigate this!! This place poses a huge identity theft risk if your mailing out personal information! I would never use this post office again! read more

I haven't been to this post office in a while due to some issues before. But I really needed a passport and even though I didn't have an appointment I decided to try to walk in and see if they could accommodate me. I got there and walked right up to the desk. They let me "walk-in" to get my passport. They were super nice and friendly. The process was so quick and the person who helped me was knowledgeable about the process. There has definitely been some improvement in overall quality here. The customer service aspect has improved, and having no wait time was the best. I cannot for the life of me understand why every single employee I have encountered at this post office has been absolutely horrid. Just a complete lack of professionalism and human decency. Their service needs major improvements. They are repeatedly rude and disrespectful to customers. I don't expect my yelp review to make any difference. Should have known given it's a government agency. They will continue to treat people like dirt and get away with it and never be held accountable. read more

Went today for passport appointments (3 were scheduled). The time scheduled was 11-11:45. One person backed out due to having to work. We were about 8 mins late however my allotted time was from 11-11:45. We were told that the person(Irma) that does them was not there and would be right back. At 11:38 she finally came back 30 mins later and the regular line was super long. The person told her that she had an appointment. She finally called us over then told us that she would need to ask the supervisor. The supervisor said they would only be able to do 1. The appointment was a 45 min block. We were 8 mins late and waited 30 mins to be told that they could only do 1. Extremely poor customer service/ service PERIOD. read more

THE THREE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS POST OFFICE SHOULD INCLUDE ON THERE WEBSITE: (1) Address (2) Hours of Operation (3) Collection Times There doesn't seem to be any USPS offices that list collection times. How many times have you rushed to post office to mail a letter, and missed the collection? And now your important mail won't go out till the next day! Amazon often delivers your order, before USPS even collects it from their box. read more

This review is based on today's visit. Needed to mail a few parcels mailed off and this post office was in the vicinity of the errands I needed to run, so I dropped in. There were a few other customers in line before I was up. I took note to the employees interactions with the customers and all seemed well, they were courteous and answered the customers questions. I was up, and was greeted by the employee. I gave her my envelopes, she gave me a few stamps that I placed onto the envelopes, I paid my money and was sent off with a "have a nice day sir." All ran smoothly. Seems like a nice post office to me. Now granted I didn't go around the rush but my experience today was a very nice one. read more

They stole my Xbox and left the game. Broke my Pyrex pan and went through most of my boxes and then retapped them. I wasn't offered insurance and therefore didn't get it. Yea I know better than what I did now but I damn sure didn't think my things would get stolen on the way there. I don't get how people can be so cruel! You're taking from a family you know nothing about and for what? To give to yours! You really took a whole Xbox and control and left the games . Wonderful you got away with it but the universe isn't forgiving I can't even wish bad on whoever took it because I know whoever did must have a hard life. I'm so sorry that working in the post office you don't make enough money to buy your own Xbox. Lucky for me all I left in our Nintendo switch box were the paper manuals or we'd be out of a switch too! You make just enough to ensure that you will open up someone's belongings and decide you're going to steal it for yourself. Yup you're the ideal candidate for the job and I'm happy they chose you. I also hope you guys keep cameras because this is the type of employee you hire! How the hell do you get away with stealing someone else's stuff and still have a damn job? I hope you enjoy it I'm confident that your day is coming people like you don't get away with that. What's $300 to getting fired and not making any money? I guess that's the gamble you chose when you "got lucky" and stole an Xbox from someone's package. You guys need Jesus! read more

UPDATE: I went to the post office June 25. It is now July 8th and my package that weighs 1 pound 3 oz has yet to be delivered. It was supposed to be delivered by June 28. For the last week I have been checking for updates nothing has changed it says my item is in "transit" but has yet to leave the Pomona location. The expected delivery date is reflecting a date that has already passed. That makes no sense. How has a 1 pound item that is 1 hour away from its destination can't seem to get to its location or have updates about its status? This is why the Post Office is losing its clientele to their competitors like FedEx, UPS and Amazon. NEVER again will I use the Pomona post office for any services! Horrible service. Older Asian Gentleman was trying send a package. His English wasn't great, but he was trying. He didn't have the box taped up. The lady he went to didn't even try to help him. She handed him tape and the tag and had him go to another area. It was obvious he was having trouble and didn't know what to do. The employee then started talking trash about him in Spanish to another employee. It took another customer to help him with the tape (older guy didn't have the hand dexterity to manipulate the roll). Another employee then said, (In spanish), "That's why you need to speak Spanish or English." When he finally got the package set up, she waived her finger at him and said Sayanara (Im pretty sure he wasn't Japanese) and laughed at him. Very unprofessional. I felt horrible for the older guy. This place is just dripping with anti-asian racism. BTW. I sat in the parking lot writing this and about 30% of the customers during that time were Asian. read more

My mail lady (that belongs to this office) stole my mail. Marking my package delivered though I never received it. My complex and ring camera confirmed that no package was delivered. Upon requesting package information I spoke to Nate who tracked my package and said my mail lady had" miss located" my package. When I received it I received a package with a different package than the original, the tags had been removed from the clothing I ordered and it smelled like BO as the clothing had obviously been worn. This is disgusting. Stealing mail is a federal crime, and shouldn't be taken lightly, I am certain this employee has a history of stealing and is clear their using their job to commit crimes. I have lost trust in this organization and wish they would've taken this incident more serious than "just had a talk with her supervisor" read more

Always get the wrong mail for the street behind me (same number but wrong street name). Or mail from across the street on the perpendicular street (different street name and different first 2 numbers but the same 2 last numbers). Also, have a note in the mailbox because we are still getting the mail for the deceased previous owner (it's been 2 years). Post office doesn't answer the phone so you have to go in person. This must be challenging for anyone who can't get to the post office for whatever reason. Tried talking to the carrier but new carriers still make the mistakes on their days they fill in. From past experience, I've known carriers to leave notes at their sort stations so anyone covering their shifts will get the notes. This post office is the only one I've ever had that I've had these many challenges with and no one answers the phone for the 4 years I've lived in this zip code and the 2 years since living in my home. Los Angeles post offices were more responsive. read more
