I have lived in Conifer since 2003 and have always had good service from our local post office. This is a rural post office, where carriers use their own vehicles, which are not vans or trucks. Folks that get upset about a delivery should think about moving back into a metropolitan area where houses are on .1 acre lots and mailboxes and houses easy to get in and out of, or show some empathy. We mostly live on lots that are measured in acres and driveways that are not very easy to get in and out so routes are long and worse in bad weather. Me? I choose empathy and working with them to make deliveries easier for all of us.

I walked up as normal asking questions telling him I am new here. He told me that even though my package said delivered... that I needed to wait until the next day because I don't have a QR code. I was very upset, I was adamant about getting my package because it was my only day off. After talking with the mail carrie, I decided to go into the line and let people cut until I could get another employee.. SCOTT!! He helped me RIGHT away, he walked me through it without having to tell him I was new.. he simply told me to look in the mailbox for a yellow slip, and it was that simple. Got my package for work on time. I wasn't going to leave a review but I was in Phil's line today and he completely ignored me and just got my package and when the surgery popped up on the screen of how the service was.. he clicked SATISFIED for me... how bold. This guy is very awkward to me around.. hopefully he changes his attitude to make people feel included.

It's safer to drop off mail here because theives have been stealing from residential mail boxes... and taking deliveries from people's porches! I'm glad that I already had postage stamps on me. Because it was a Sunday, the Post Office was closed, but the self-service kiosk was open. Customers were waiting in line to use it! Forms for holding mail and other services were available... as well as free flat rate boxes. There were so many boxes for secure mail delivery, too. Thanks for being reliable, US Postal Service!

The Monument post office has been holding my package hostage since Nov. 11. A package that was sent…read moreon Nov. 6, (it is now Nov. 22) and at one point made it to Colorado Springs and close to a delivery. But then it went on a whirlwind road trip and left Colorado. It came back, landed in Monument, and there it freaking sits. I call and the phone rings forever and then it hangs up on me. WHY DO YOU PUBLISH A PHONE NUMBER ON A PHONE YOU NEVER ANSWER? I opened a case several days ago. My local PO is handling it, and has told me they've sent several emails to the Monument post office, but are not getting a response. Apparently there is no way to for one post office to contact another post office other than emailing, which seems insane to me. Maybe they are nice as others have indicated, but they sure are not responsive to someone who is trying to find out what the problem is with getting my package delivered. Glad I don't live in Monument and have to use that post office. At least my post office answers their phone.

PAY ATTENTION TO THIS SCAM: = You buy an item on ebay, the ebay seller posts your item as shipped with a tracking#, you wait for delivery and when it is supposed to be delivered, you check the tracking# and it says it has been delivered but you have nothing; no item, no lock box key to retrieve it, nothing so where is your item? Some ebay sellers re-use old tracking#'s to try to trick you into thinking your item was delivered successfully. Immediately call your local USPS office, give them the tracking# you were told by the ebay seller and USPS can confirm whether or not that tracking# was for you and your address!

Amazon shipped a package that was too heavy for me to lift and I had expected it to be delivered to…read moremy door. However, this was not possible due to the shipping method they chose. I had no idea how I was going to get it out of the lock-box much less across my complex to the 2nd level. Amazon was of absolutely no use in solving this problem! I called this Post Office and they reached out to my carrier who was under NO obligation to help. HOWEVER, he went above and beyond his responsibilities and actually delivered it to my door!! This is totally "white glove" service and if it were within my power I would give him a raise!! In the best of times, this incredible service has become rare. It's not a reflection of the nice lady working, but the manager should make sure things are being taken care of in the front of the house. I've walked out 3 times while waiting in line over the past month, each while waiting almost 15 min and the line barely moves. Not sure why I keep coming back. Oh yeah, because it's the only post office in this town. FAIL!!!
