I am continually disappointed in the Evergreen Postal Service. This is their most recent failure. The top of my mailbox on a snowy, windy day seems like the worst place to leave an expensive piece of electronic equipment. (At least it wasn't in the ditch right?) I built a safe, secure package drop box 15 feet away from my mail box. Earlier today they placed a package valued at $20 in the drop box so I know they know it exists. read more

Absolutely and without question the WORST post office in the nation. Packages are never left at the door, IF they arrive they're tossed in ditches or left on the side of the road. No wonder they say USPS is going out of business! I ordered a package that requires a signature, it said they 'attempted' deliver on Monday when I was home and no one came to the door, just left the slip in the mailbox. Not a huge deal the office is only a few minutes away and it said I could pick up from there. I get to the post office and they say they don't have it and my best bet would be to schedule a redelivery. I did that set for today, left a note in the mailbox saying I'm home to sign for it. Instead, they leave the rest of my mail in the box and and write on the back of my note that they need me to sign the slip they left. I drive through the neighborhood to find the driver and she said she doesn't even have it in her car. What's the point of having it redelivered if they aren't even going to bring it for the scheduled day???? read more

This is my local post office and I fear it's the worst I've seen. The service is usually nice enough but they seem terribly disorganized. Over the past 12 months we've consistently had mail lost, diverted to other boxes, wrong mail in our boxes, delayed deliveries of important and time-sensitive documents, and more. It also took them well over six months to get us keys to the box bank in our office building after they lost the first batch of keys. Seems like our taxpayer dollars don't go as far as they used to. I suspect the problems are due primarily to poor management at this branch. read more

We have had no mail for over a week. There hasn't been any indication from he post office of slowdowns higher then usual. I just filed a complaint with the inspector general and will go o the post office Monday to inquire. We have prescriptions and important firs class mail that has not showed up. read more

Awful carrier service. They leave my packages at the end of my long driveway in bad weather without letting me know they are down there. They won't pick up my packages that I need to mail from home. I have asthma and an immune system disease. I can't go in to the post office and mail my own packages during this pandemic. But I can't get this terrible USPS branch to come pick them up. I keep filing complaints with the main USPS office, but things improve only for a week or two. I have two stars only because the staff that work in the post office itself are fantastic. Their carriers need to be paid about twice what they're making ($16-20/hr) so that we can get some better quality postal carriers. read more

The Evergreen USPS, is Amazing! I drive down from Summit County this morning to get my passport. Both the lady at the main Counter and the lady at the Passport Desk (door) were nice and Smiled!!! I'm waiting on a package right now that says it's in my mailbox as of Oct. 26th. Waiting for them to open so I can call and see WGOES mailbox they put it in. Can't stand them. They had a clerk go back and look for my mail inky to tell me it wasn't there. Funny I stepped outside and called the annex and wwwwhhhhaaatt? Tammy just didn't look for it? So I went back in, stood in line...again ...just to wind up in Tammys line again and the second time she went back wwwhhhaaattt? It was in the shelf the whole time Tammy!?!?! Thanks. I have a severe back injury and like to have my mail delivered like it should be. They're all horrible with the customer service. read more

I would rate this zero stars. they leave packages in the woods. they miss all the delivery times. they claim they can't deliver because "mailbox full" when it is a 2 ft package that needs to be delivered to the house. they often refuse to drive up my short paved driveway for some reason. UPS and FEDEX trucks can turn around in my drive, but USPS is simply lame and lazy. I have sent dozens of complaints to Amazon to stop shipping with USPS, but UPS keeps handing packages off to these incompetent drivers. read more

My family went the Evergreen Post Office Passport counter to get a passport for our 14 ear old daughter. The Passport lady was right on time and processed our application in less than 10 minutes. Very happy with the service. read more

Wow what a joke of a post office!!!! I have never seen such incompetence in my life. As if getting items to the right mail box when there are 4 right there is hard, their customer service is equally as bad. Not to mention they lie to Amazon so they can try to hold on to the business. The final straw after two years of packages being thrown in the middle of my driveway, late packages, they lie!!!! On two separate occasions during 3" of snow, not a lot, they said they could not access my driveway. Well that's a bit ironic because I live behind a restaurant that is professionally plowed, as is my driveway. There are also numerous businesses on my street so the amount of sand that is dropped is large. There have been numerous cars around and a friend picked up a package off my front porch yesterday and she does not have 4 wheel drive. On my second phone call to track my package, I informed the manager, that Amazon can de prioritize them being their shipper, and we had done that prior to my call to him. I'm so grateful that Amazon lets us do this. He in a beyond snarky tone, told me great one less package to deliver.... and you can come get your package if you want it. He obviously doesn't understand having packages to deliver is how they afford his salary, but maybe he just thinks someone else will take care of it. Well in my case, UPS and fedex will! read more

I was supposed to get a package on the 31st. Never had trouble getting packages but apparently the current mail carrier is too lazy to reach to the mailbox so he just put it as unable to deliver due to no secure location available. Asked for a redelivery on April 1 for April 5. Came and went, no redelivery. Went to pick up the package on the 6th only to be told it wasn't there. Then I get a notification at 8:45 am today saying it was attempted delivery but no secure location available. Also said notice left of which there was none. Went to the post office and of course they don't have it. They said the mail carrier probably scanned it as undeliverable when he hadn't even gone on his route yet. So he didn't even try to deliver it. Talked to the manager who said she would call me back once they talked to the carrier. Got a call back that said the carrier said he couldn't delivery it on the 31st because a trash can was in the way so he just ASSUMED he wouldn't be able to do it today. Hadn't actually tried. No trash cans in the way. Manager said he would deliver it today. Got home to see the undeliverable notice in the mailbox but no package. He didn't even bring it with him!!!!! Put the undeliverable notice there that he had filled out at 8:45 am this morning. Said please don't block the mailbox. The trash cans were back inside at 7:30 am. I am livid. read more

Don't hate on the post office! They have so much crap to put up with. I was there on the busiest day of the year, statistically. I had to wait in line for no fewer than 30 minutes, but the clerks at the counter were all in a good mood, despite it being close to the end of the day. Sure, patrons might complain, but there are other options that are easier if you're not a procrastinator. If you are, sometimes you have to waste some time in line. Viva la USPS! read more

I live in Bear Mountain Vista in Evergreen, I never receive my mail the DAY AFTER a holiday, every Holiday it takes 2 days to get my mail. This is difficult when I have an auto mailed prescription refill or recently, a car part I desperately needed. THE CARRIER MARKS IT AS DELIVERED! The Post Office itself is fine. Lines are often long, but the service people work through them as fast as they can. On the other hand, the Postal Carriers that deliver the mail are terrible. Good luck ever getting a package delivered unless it can be crushed into your mailbox. Otherwise they just leave a note with some crazy excuse for why they are too lazy to attempt to deliver it. read more

They lie on their tracking updates, stating that items are out for delivery when they are not. I have three orders that were all supposedly received at 2:00 a.m. and sent out for delivery today at 9:00, yet somehow they never arrived. Evergreen is not that big of a town. read more

We live 3/4 of a mile from the mail boxes. Sometimes the guy will deliver our Amazon Prime but most often no. When we went to pick up our stuff we asked the carrier manager if we could have our mail delivered to post office that is directly across from our community.....literally across the street, like 10'. Her response: my carrier doesn't get paid to do that. As with all service jobs up here, the quality is ridiculously poor. read more

Absolutely the worst service ever. After 30 years they suddenly decided my house was vacant. My W-2 and ballot was returned, but junk mail kept coming. Took weeks to clear up the mess. Other problems are packages that are returned "no such address", packages show as "delivered" on Amazon but does not show up until days later, neigbor's mail in our mail box and vice versa, on and on. read more

If i could leave no stars I would. I nearly never get my mail, I receive other people's mail, and the postmaster is absolutely unprofessional. So far they have lost 5 packages and 30 pieces of mail. I did not receive a medical bill 4 times and it was sent to collections, and they have lost multiple birthday and Christmas cards. To top it all off they accused me of stealing someone else's mail that was undelivered to god knows where. This is the worst business i have ever encountered. read more
