Been going here enough to see the good and the challenging events. The folks working behind the counter are usually doing the best they can navigating the software system for perform the shipments as requested. The issues I have seen are when the customers are either unprepared or upsets at the prices. The people at the store don't determine the prices, so it is quite emotionally taxing to see the customers get upset with the crew. I usually am dropping Amazon returns. They created a properly sized box, carefully cushion-packed everything, and made sure it was completely secure before shipping. This store has the worst customer service. I have been going here for 5 years and somehow it keeps getting worse. I went to price out a shipment of a laptop. The lady behind the counter gave me took 15-20 minutes to measure, take all the details, my address, the shipping address, value. Then quoted me an exorbitant price. She was extremely rude when i was taken back about it. I went in just to find out how much the price was. I left and shipped via FedEx and I was treated with kindness and a much better price. Today i walked in just to drop off a package. (Companies want to use UPS. I sure don't want to voluntarily use this store but the next nearest one is 10 miles away). The lady came from the back, stepped behind the counter and said "The internet is down. That is why I can't scan". There was no sorry, there was no sign, there was ZERO remorse. She didn't care at all. There was no "please come back later". Just looked at me like it was my fault for walking in the store while they had internet issues. I came to this location to return a package that I ordered online. The top of the box was open and I was under the impression that they could tape it shut for me because that's what has happened at every other shipping store I've ever been to. But they told me I gad to purchase packing tape from them and tape it shut myself. When I turn to leave the store all of a sudden they said they would be happy to take a shut for me for two dollars. Their customer service is ridiculously poor. I can't fathom that they are not able to put one piece of packing tape on a package to close it. In addition their prices seem very high. I stopped in to this franchised UPS Store (#6469) in Evergreen to have 7 pages printed out. Nothing special... just 7 black and white prints on regular 8 1/2" x 11" copy paper. Final cost: $11.17! (that's $1.60 per page). Interestingly, the noted cost on the receipt is $0.16/page for "Staff Print" and then for good measure they tacked on a random charge of $9.99 for "Print Services". Took them less than 2 minutes. Avoid this UPS store at all costs (unless of course you don't mind getting ripped off). read more

I have used this place a total of five times in the last several months and each time I go in the individual is just as rude as the last time. I shipped a bike worth $4000 through them (insured) and I received a notification that it was lost. When I called to find out what was going on they said they "couldn't help me" and had "no way of tracking it".!!! Stay away from this store!!! Rude people and staff. read more

Every time I come to this store I ask for ground, cheapest shipment option possible. The past 2 times, the store has confirmed that I'm getting ground but they charge me for 2 day priority. I paid $17 for a shipment that UPS.com quotes for ground at $11. The store managers/owners are always interrupting or micromanaging their employees. Typically the employees present shipment options with the highest shipment price first, even when the customer asks for the cheapest method possible. And lastly, they are constantly telling customers they need to purchase a new mailer, which I've not experienced that volume of people needing a new mailer at any other UPS location. I always walk away feeling ripped off and lied to. As the only UPS store in town, I guess that's how it is but I'd really love to feel that I'm getting a fair price and service. Every time I come in here there's some kind of issue. I can't ship jewelry, they can't recycle boxes, I can't get the shipping option I prefer. At the end of the day these aren't huge issues and I always just smile and nod but they're inconveniences I never seem to face in the other stores I go to. This is the worst UPS store I've been to. They make you pay for tape to tape up boxes (other UPS stores do not do this). To add insult to injury they charge almost $10 for the crappiest tape ever. It is amazing how nasty someone can be for performing such a simple service. For an Amazon return I say I need to return it and she says oka and just stares at me. Then says "well I need the QR code". I've not returned something like this so how am I to know what she wants. They charge a dollar to print a label! A box I was returning in they don't want and they want me to take it out to the outside garbage in a storm. Just plain nasty in doing it. I recently purchased a home in Evergreen, CO and I have always used the UPS store for business. I met the new owner, Sita, who I found be be one of the nicest people who understands what makes customer service 5 stars. I had a return that needed to be packaged. She had me just leave it for her and her husband to handle, and thanked me over and over for using their store. I was prepared to do the packaging, but she insisted, and the cost was extremely fair. It's nice to see a "mom and pop store" who still understands good service. I will be using this location for all of my business needs. p.s. - The people who complain about having to pay for tape and boxes clearly have never owned a business. Stop expecting everything for free. These nice people deserve to be paid for making your life easier. If you don't want to pay for their tape bring your own. While vacationing on motorcycle, we decided to ship some clothes home. The lady insisted on packing our box. I preferred to do this as I wanted the smallest and cheapest possible. I let her put it in a tub to weigh. She came back with a charge of over $100. I told her that I ship for a living and it should be less than half that. After much back and forth in which I started to walk out she agreed to ship it for $60. After more typing she tried to charge me $80+. Again I started to walk. She finally agreed to ship for $60 including fees. When I returned home, I reversed the shipping. It should have been $27.71. So yeah, I still got screwed. I felt like they were trying to overcharge me the minute they weighed my package. Over $36.00 for a small package worth less than $100. I said no. They then offered me 2 day shipping for over $21. I went ahead and paid. It took from Dec 6 to Dec 11th to get there. How is that 2 day? When I went back they denied telling me it was 2 day. Two different people told me that. Don't buy stamps at this place. I bought three books of stamps and when I got home I realized I was charged $42. I went back the next day and was told they are specialty stamps and they cost more. I asked to exchange them for the standard .55 stamp cost and was informed they don't sell them. I asked to return them (they were still in their original packaging) and was denied. I have been to this UPS store a few times and every time I've had to pay to ship something they OVERCHARGE. I only drop off items that have pre paid labels now and only use if I have too. I have driven to the USPS store after leaving there and always get a better price. UPS is suppose to be cheaper for large parcels but not this store. I dropped off a return for Amazon. The young man and I were both confused and a printing label was printed and they he pointed out to me, I was supposed to have it boxed. The owner then came out and repeatedly tried to get me to buy a box claiming that since the label was order printed the refund had already happened. I told him that I had the box at home and I was going to use that one. The owner lied as the return only happens after the label is scanned. This guy is a Rip Off. read more

I was charged over $2 for them to print off a label for a return package which was fine other than the gentleman who printed it off for me just handed me the label then walked to the back room, yawning. The staff has been so rude to me on numerous occasions and they are a money grab for everything, not even so much as lending packing tape to tape a box but telling me I needed to buy some. There was a massive roll on the counter in the holder that I asked if I could borrow and was told no you can buy some. When I asked if it was a joke he stared blankly at me and said "nope" about as rude as you can get. I bring packages to the UPS store in Denver near my work and they ALWAYS tape the boxes....no charge, imaginable that, customer service.
