I mentioned in a previous review that I do not go to post offices at all frequently, but in the two or three times I have been to this little gem this year, I was able to park right outside or around the corner, and get in and out to complete my errands efficiently. My most recent experience involved finding stamps to mail my son's wedding invitations. I explained my task to the person behind the counter. She weighed my invitation and pointed me to a 2 cent stamp with a pretty bouquet of flowers, surely the right stamp for my stash of wedding invitations. However, there weren't enough of that stamp for all my envelopes, so I would have to choose a second stamp, as well. While I was looking at the options, trying to decide what to do, she suddenly ran to the back and came out with a brand new stamp that had only just come out a few days prior (early March, 2024). This also was a lovely stamp; and there were lots and lots of them! I really appreciate her creativity and willingness to go above and beyond for me. Since that time, I've stopped by a few times to mail some returns, or whatever, and this person still remembers me! This establishment has the feel of a small local business where everyone is neighborly and helpful. I love that.

I stay awake for hours (I work graveyard) waiting to sign for my refrigerated medicine, just to get a text saying the delivery was attempted. I've been sitting 3 feet from the door for 4 hours waiting for it, then look out the window to see the driver driving away. No door tag, obviously, since no attempt is made. Multiple calls to complain to FedEx don't accomplish anything, and I can't use a different carrier because the only pharmacy that ships my medicine only uses FedEx. I've lived in Golden 8 months, in 8 deliveries, 5 have been listed as "attempted to deliver", no attempt was made any of those times. Twice on a Friday, causing my express refrigerated medicine to go bad over the weekend. If your having any kind of important medicine delivered, these FedEx drivers might just kill you. Stay away from this store, too. If this is the "Station" as the FedEx customer service states, maybe losing business over their drivers unreliability (Amazon THIRD PARTY drivers have never done this), will actually make them do something about it.

Now there's a guy named Rozohn and he's awesome. Always helpful, polite and professional. I was there one time, waiting in line along with 4 other women and this blustery man came in and demanded to cut in front of everyone else because he just needed to pick up a package. He got really rude and obnoxious and was yelling at Rozohn, who never lost his cool. I on the other hand did not refrain from telling the guy off who left in a huff. But Rozohn never blinked. He just smiled at all of us and took care of business. Whatever I bring in whether Amazon return or UPS package or USPS mail, he's there to help.
