I have lived near this post office for six years. It's usually busy, understaffed, and has really slow service lines. This is to be expected in dealing with any government or quasi-government agency, or legalized monopolies. This is not the reason that I am giving this location a poor review however. The real problem with this USPS location is they lose the mail you send. I have had THREE payments in the last year, that I sent using this location "lost". I rarely send payments in the mail... maybe 5 per year for those that have to go to a PO Box. For each payment that gets lost I have to reissue payment, try and get late fees removed, and pay my bank for a stop payment fee ($25) on the checks. I haven't ever received any return mail on any of these although I put my return info on every envelope. I never seem to have problems with sending mail at this location and it being delivered if it doesn't include a check. It's really strange to me on how this keeps happening. I no longer trust this location or any of it's employees in sending payments. read more

A five-star review for a post office? Yes indeed. I run an online business that ships around the world, and while I can take care of most of my postal needs from the comfort of my office, there is still the occasional package that requires a trip to a P.O. for one reason or another. I try to combine errands for maximum efficiency, so I've been to probably 15 different post offices around the metro Denver area. Most are forgettable, get-the-job-done kind of places. One location, in Arvada, stands out for having at least one ill-informed, cranky clerk. If it is possible, however, for a government agency to have a "flagship" location, then this one is it. It's bright with natural daylight, the floor plan allows for some amount of privacy for the folks checking their P.O. Boxes, there are two Automated Postal Center kiosks which can handle nearly all domestic mailing/shipping needs (just follow the simple on-screen instructions, and have your credit card ready), and when you do need a live postal worker, the folks working the counter at this location are efficient, friendly, and knowledgeable. I'm glad, and lucky, that this location is closest to my office! read more

This post office is not usually very busy, but it's pretty conveniently located. This location has recently installed a self service station that you can use for basic stuff. I walked in in peak Christmas shipping season, the main line was expectedly long. The self service station was empty. I shipped 2 large envelopes and a package, all do different destinations, and paid with two formats of payment. I was still in and out in 5-10 minutes. Good spot for doing postal business, just not great for entry and exit from Federal. read more

I sent a Priority Mail envelope with an important payment and paid extra for 3 day shipping from Spokane WA to Longmont CO. According to tracking, the envelope spent 8 DAYS in the Longmont post office, before FINALLY being delivered 14 days after mailing!!! This service is TERRIBLE, and this was NOT a busy time of year (Jan. 20th, 2021). You guys should be ASHAMED about your lack of service. I am really disgusted! I will NEVER use priority mail again. No one in Westminster could help at all. "It happens all the time, just wait it out". No we can't find it.....after waiting a half hour on hold. Sad case of affairs. read more

The staff here is absolutely fantastic. What a stark contrast to the Broomfield Post Office (please don't go there). I've had boxes here for years, and have never had any problems. I also ship a bunch of stuff for my online business, so I'm here quite often. Sometimes, there's no wait. Other times, the lines are rather long, but the gals here are always working hard to get to all the customers quickly... They'll often open up the mail window when the counter spaces are full, and I regularly see the supervisor jump in by helping people with the APC. Kudos to the staff and supervisors! read more

Very rude and u professional. Was in this post office at 5:58, there was a line of about 7 people ahead of me. I dropped off my prepaid packages, then I stepped off to the side to tape up a non prepaid box. When I got back in line they told me they wouldn't service me because they close at 6:00. It was 6:03 when I got back in line. I've come to this location plenty of times before and sometimes it was right at 6:00. I have never been told I wouldn't be serviced. The post master,I'm assuming was the one who came out right as I was getting back in line. She was very rude and snappy when telling me I wouldn't be serviced. I explained to her I was already in line and had prepaid packages they scanned in before she came out. She refused still and one of the employees chimmed in with the same rudeness that they wouldn't provide service. I hate when people worm a job that aren't happy with and take it out on the customers. If you don't want to be in the service industry where you service people then maybe change professions. It's one thing to say where closed but the rudeness and insinuation that I was lying was too much for me. read more

Today I was met by a customer service attendant at the PO! She was helpful and friendly! What an efficient way to get someone started and then move them along! I appreciate using this PO as they offer convenience, ease of use, and are still much cheaper than UPS and FedEx. Recommend this PO! read more

Staff is great , polite and they try to help with anything can . Unfortunately, there is not enough staff , long lines and service is extremely slow . Please be prepared to spend 20-40 mint to shipped out a single package . I don't like that their staff talk too much with customer . They provide too much info which is great but make things worse and slower . At lest it's close to my house lol read more

When I come to this post office, I either have a really good experience or a bad one. It's never in the middle or neutral. Most of the time it's a good experience because the people at the counter are friendly and helpful. They are slow when helping customers though, so the lines go pretty slow, especially during holiday season. I guess this might not be so different than other post offices. If you have to come here to pick up some mail, the lady in the back can be rude, but I've only had to deal with her once. read more

This post office is awful. The guy behind the door was unnecessarily rude when all I needed to do was pick up a package. He told me to "go stand in the line", when it was just a pick up; but the last 2 times told me to just come to the door! Make up your mind people, I don't mind standing in line but don't tell me to go to the window one day and change your mind the next! read more

This post office has had very friendly employees who are serious about moving the line expeditiously and courteously. I have come in with a few different types of packages and the clerks have always been polite, quick, and efficient. Highly recommended! read more

There is always a super long line and not enough people to help. Last time I was there an employee told me "I can't give you a piece of tape because that would be like McDonalds giving away a Big Mac" ....that was after I stood in line for 20 mins. read more

For the second time in a year my signature was forged by their delivery clerk. When I reported it at the counter, one of the old grey hair lady with the bun said it was for my "convenience". The guy behind the door was incredibly rude. Needed help sending a package to London. I asked about pricing and he was a total jerk, would not explain why or what each price tier included. Basic questions- you work at the post office. He literally shooed me away to fill out the custom form so " he could help others in line" - which there were none. I spent $40 and have no idea if my package is insured, track able, or when it will arrive (fingers crossed) !? His attitude was shocking, have never been treated poorly at this post office or any post office ever. Next time you're in line and the guy at the door says "he can help whoever's next" be prepared to get the opposite of help. Better yet tell him you'll wait to BE HELPED by someone else. read more
