I've had a horrible experience at this store. I paid them $85 to pack a set of heirloom chins to my neice in FL last September. The carton arrived damaged and many pieces of china broken. I paid for insurance to cover any breakage. UPS Insurance company blames the store and the store blames the shipping company. I've fought with both of them for over 3 months now. I was picking up a package because my school was closed that week it was being delivered. UPS customer service adjusted where it would be held for me to pick up and I had to pay for it to be held. At this store the clerk tried to tell me I had no packages to pick up because my ID he looked up had no package (again the package was going to a school). But I saw the package right there in his pile of boxes and I had the tracking number! Instead of having good customer service he blamed me for having a business address and not my name on the package! But it is UPS and Scholastic that address the package in that way ? read more

UPS store at 10343 Federal Blvd is awesome. I am handicap and have mobility issues, when I enter the store I am always pleasantly greeted as all customers are. Some generally comes to help me get to the counter and no matter what I bring in to ship and if there is an issue the staff steps in to help solve the problem. Someone always stays with me until we get my packages taken care of and they are always courteous through the entire process. this store and staff is awesome and deserve the highest praise Gold Stars. I went to drop off a return by Amazon prime. This is very unusual, but apparently that return label said "customer packed". I needed two, two inch strips of tape. In spite of having a mega ginormous roll of packing tape less than one inch from my face, they couldn't be bothered to spare any. read more

So not a whole lot to say about this small store, comparing it to a Fed-Ex I've been in recently. But the process was also a lot easier an d the associate the helped me, smoked a little more. The process was quick and efficient, the offer a wall of packaging supplies,copiers which may even include a blue-print machine copier if I'm not mistaken. They offer mail box service if your need if somewhere for your mail to go and maybe even a few other services I'm not aware of. But all in all u have no thing negative to say about my visit here, located on the South side of the marketplace. Recommend? Sure why not. read more

Seriously they rip people off! Son in law went in right before closing and the lady was rude ( I think Samuna was her name ) and he was told to come back the next day. Really?!?! Didn't have time to come back so she went ahead and rang him up anyway but told him he HAD to get extra packaging and charged for "fragile" service. That was an extra $15.32 per box. Almost as much as the actual shipping! Went in with him the next morning and wanted all the boxes back without their "extra packages". They refunded all but the boxes and peanuts they had already used which was $50 their price. You can't tell me they can't put the peanuts back into the big bag they scooped it out from! We were lucky to have only wasted that much but we still had to talk to a manager just to get that much. Very poor poor business ethics. We would have still shipped with them had they been nicer and not tried to rip off people in the first place. What is wrong with people who try to take advantage of young ones?!?!?! Did I fail to mention that this is for a business as well?!?!? Let me tell you our shipping both business and personal will be done through someone else from now on. read more

My wife and I have used this UPS store for our mail for over a year. Whether it's Samuna, Tavis or Andrew, we always get great service and leave with a smile on our face! They are always willing to go the extra mile to take care of us! Definitely recommended! read more

This particular store is good. The guy who runs it is a young kid who gives you the best service he can. He even help me work through issues where a woman at headquarters didn't even know what she was talking about and completely misconstrued how they do business. I was waiting for UPS to send me a label. The woman at headquarters told me that UPS does not send labels and blamed it on the company to whom I was shipping back a very expensive product. Sure enough, UPS sent me the label and this kid that works there really really really helped me put it together. So even though the corporation is really messed up, this particular site is really good. read more

Store is dirty and service was bad. I don't think the staff know what they are doing. Will not return.

We have had a mailbox here since 2002. When Joe owned it, it was fabulous. Now under the new ownership the service has completely tanked. The mail is not sorted until very late in the day - sometimes taking days which I believe is a federal offense. They always give us the same excuse - "Oh the mail just came in . . ". Worst of all, today I tried to get my mail and the person behind the counter REFUSED to give me my mail. I've had this mailbox since 2002 and he refuses . . . Good grief. The staff should be familiar with long time customers (13 years). And then I was told that he wanted to apologize. So I go back into the store - to not an apology but excuses instead. He never once uttered an apologetic word. I use many other UPS Stores around the country and I unfortunately rate this one the worst of them all. It is unfortunate as it used to be wonderful when Joe owned it. Now with staff members refusing to give me my mail, I cannot recommend this store anymore. read more

I came in to drop off a package and the employee there went out of their way to make it a negative experience for me. The employee made no effort to help me and just stood there waiting for me to speak. They were extremely rude and could only manage to grunt "okay" after I thanked them and told them to have a good night. I wouldn't be surprised if they worked a dead end job for the rest of their life, given their lack of manners and unwillingness to perform even the most basic of tasks. read more

Absolutely the worst. My mother brought in a package of mine to be returned after we had missed the UPS pick up. The woman behind the counter REFUSED to print a UPS slip even though we had a piece of paper printed from Amazon instructing us to bring the box to our nearest UPS store if we missed the pick up. It had all the info to print the shipping label at the store. My mom showed the woman the instructions. The woman kept telling my mom it didn't matter and that was not how it worked. My mom left the box on the counter in frustration. UPS is obligated to ship it. But now the item is "lost," the return is closed, and I'm out $100, because this woman has no concept of customer service. AWFUL. I'm still pursuing this with UPS corporate because, as far as I am concerned, this store "lost" my package on purpose! read more

I tried to ship a piece of paper to a place in my own city 10 miles away. I told her I don't care about timing and I just want to ship it out cheaply with tracking. Samula lied and told me the cheapest option UPS offers with tracking is 35 dollars, I expressed my doubts, and then they admitted to lying and said that's the cheapest if I want to use the specific envelope they gave me, then she pulled out a different envelope and said it'll be cheaper with this envelope, and offered a cheaper price!! But I still ended up paying 17.29 dollars. Samula told me in a sarcastic voice "this mail might get there today, tomorrow, in a month or next year" to get me to purchase the 35 dollar option!!! How crazy is that, when I can just ship it with a 50 cent stamp and have the mail arrive in two days? Two dollars for the envelope and 15 for shipping. The store lady was very condescending and told me initially it'll be 12 dollars and then it just got higher every time I confirmed the price. People in front of me walked out saying this UPS is especially expensive even compared to other UPS, I believe it. read more

All I have to say about Joe and this UPS store is WOW! I am a disabled veteran who has traveled back and forth over the years to Colorado for vacation and to ship things back to New York that I had kept in storage for quite some time in Westminster. I stumbled on this UPS store accidentally during a visit and I now consider it the standard for service at any UPS store I frequent now. From the very beginning Joe and his staff were polite and professional. They handled all of my treasures with with the utmost care. I had collected things from my travels around the world and even had my prized comic book collection that I had built since I was a kid entrusted to him and is staff. Some things were valuable and some things had intrinsic value. No matter what I gave him he treated it like he was shipping the Mona Lisa. I showed up with over 12 large boxes of items. Each one a little heavier than the next. To him and his staff it was no problem. My things got back to the East Coast safe and sound without a scratch. On top of the excellent service was their polite and inviting attitude. They made me feel like I had known them for years. I don't delve out many five star reviews lightly. In fact I only really review when I'm wowed off my feet. This is one of those experiences where to give less than five stars would be a disservice. If you need things shipped, packed, and sent safely with beyond the care you expect visit Joe and his UPS staff at his store. You will not be disappointed!!! read more

The manager of this store is terrible and the customer service is the worst I have experienced from any UPS store. He actually said he wouldn't help me with my package because he was close to closing and "doesn't want to do any work." This is absolutely absurd for a customer service based business! After going through the process to pack my own box up, I was then charge $30 more than originally quoted. He wanted to then charge me for an unused box and bubble wrap after I decided not to ship my items. He wouldn't even let me use one strip of packing tape to tape the box if I was going to ship it. If your looking for a friendly store that wants to help their customers save money, DON'T GO HERE! The management is only about the bottom line and will up charge for every little thing. I went in today to ship holiday packages and was very impressed with the friendly customer service I received. I have never been to this location before and was impressed with how helpful, professional, and friendly the staff was with me and the others in the store. I didn't expect them to help me carry my boxes into the store or help me find an envelope for one package. Sometimes these places can make you feel like you have to pay for every inch of tape and every label but I didn't get that feeling here at all. The price was very reasonable for my requests. This UPS location WAS GREAT, when Joe was there. Now being under new management the staff and customer service are EXTREMELY POOR. Today I went in to just drop off two pre-paid boxes and had ran out of my last roll of tape which was only enough to tape one of my boxes. The manager of the location looked at me and said "care to purchase a roll of tape?" I politely stated "No thank you" because the prices of the tape ranged from $6.99 to $8.00 depending on the roll. Of course I did not say this to the manager but instead politely smiled and stated " Do you guys not tape boxes anymore for .50 cents?" The manager himself replied back with "No." And with an unfriendly demeanor and look on his face he raised his eyebrows and said, " Are you going to ship the box open then?" Mind you this is not the first time I have received attitude from this location, let alone the MANAGER! I simply grabbed by boxes and replied that I would be taking them elsewhere and that his sarcasm was not appreciated. Not at any point did he apologize. I told him I wanted the number for customer service to file a complaint and he proceeded to hand me his business card!! I typically can turn the other cheek and end it with the thought that maybe the person is having a bad day and blow it off. But, this behavior is constant at this location and I will not be going back. I would rather drive ten more miles out of my way to another location where I will be treated respectfully.
