Have had many packages that weren't delivered to my home and the tracking said "Left on porch" nope left at post office or wrong house. Have been a loooongggggg time US Post Office customer and ship All the time for our business---walked in with 12 packages at 2pm with 6 people ahead of me and was told by the Branch Supervisor that I would not be helped due to the fact I had too many packages. There were two people working with the Supervisor which was of course unable to help Anyone at a counter except for mail pick up---which No One needed----She said I needed to call ahead?? I never knew you could make Personal appointments ahead of time----this of course was a lie. I am sick and tired of this particular location at 20th Street and Camelback and their inconsistent service along with a Supervisor that in essence is worthless and does not tell the truth nor appreciates customers-----period!!! read more

USPS is a great service when it works. I sell on Ebay, and I had a product go missing. Ebay is partnered with USPS, which seems to work out well, i.e, until it doesn't. Anyways, I had a shipment fully insured with a signature required going from Phoenix (Buckeye), Arizona to Palm Springs, California. It was last scanned into the system in the Buckeye facility, and then, there's no more information available as a customer for USPS. I filed an insurance claim, and it was initially rejected because USPS permits both senders and recipients to file insurance claims. I made sure that the buyer's money was refunded, and they released the claim. Then, I filed another claim. I was contacted by an insurance adjuster for USPS and treated like a criminal. I have receipts for everything I purchased, and the items were photographed prior to shipment. USPS still will not issue a payment, and God knows what's happening in their facilities. I do care about the money, and I feel violated that I was stolen from. More concerning is now I can't trust USPS, and this seems like a basic service that should be offered in every nation. Usually, USPS is good, but I will definitely think twice before using them again. It's really sad, and it's clearly a disgruntled employee or group of employees that have taken advantage of the pandemic. I am sure that I am not the only one who has lost items from this facility, and it would have been much better to be treated fairly and to have some justice in regards to the theft. read more

I have spent an entire day trying to get through to this post office. They never answer the phone. I was calling from east coast about a package that has not been delivered. After i called a main USPS number and received a case number from an agent, who took my tracking number and phone number i received a call from the Northeast office which went to voice mail However, the call back number they gave me was the same one that is always busy. This is the second package i sent to that zipcode that has disappeared after arriving in Phoenix. read more

I went to this post office today, walked in and was greeted promptly (no wait!!!) by Vicki, she was the lovely lady with the silver locks. She had me in and out of the Post office in under two minutes and made me feel confident that my package would be delivered safely! This has to be the WORST POST OFFICE IN ALL OF ARIZONA if not the US. Expect nothing but trouble. The manager or supervisor seems to HATE people and needs to get another job. I feel sorry for all the people trying to mail off their Tax Returns today. The handle of the Priority Box was locked at 4.40 - no way that it filled up in 10 minutes. Also, the metered letter slot for large envelopes was locked - same time 4.40. Just so no one could throw their prepaid letter in there. So much for customer service. All the nice people that used to work there have left. I have seen this one going down hill for 20 years - it just gets worse. Thank goodness that we have a choice with other post offices. read more

I seriously hate USPS. they do a great job delivering me unneccessary junk mailers for grocery stores but can't get me a package I actually paid to have shipped to me. She gave me the rudest look and told me they have tapes for sale when it was obviously all i needed was a one-inch scotch tape to seal my envelope. Another time I had to mail a package and I asked for a marker. Again, she gave me the dirty look and just said we do not give out markers. I did not say anything to her but I went to the bank (wells fargo) and they kindly gave me tape and marker without asking anything. I would not use this post office unless my life depends on it!!!!!! Anyone who waited in Soviet bread lines during the 1960s will feel right at home when they use the Northeast Phoenix Post Office. Either management of this post office is using a service manual prepared in the old Soviet Union, or they are getting paid by FedEx and UPS to drive business away from the USPS. The worst part is not the hour long lines to receive surly service, it is the insulting atmosphere where blatant lies for why service is so bad are handed out. "sold out of all stamps" signs taped to the door. How could a post office be sold out of ALL stamps, even the most unusual denominations? This is obviously an excuse to keep customers away. "the system is down" is why only one employee shows up at a side window at 9:15 to serve a line of 20 that have already waited 15 minutes for the lobby door to open. The USPS is doomed, not only by the internet age of online billing and bill pay etc, but also by it's mandate to serve every address in the country. In Central Nebraska, there are 55 post offices, primarily in small towns of a few hundred residents, while there is only one UPS store in Grand Island. Having only one post office, with one or two employees working the counter in the Biltmore area of Phoenix where both a UPS store, and a FedEx Office are a block away, and dozens of drop boxes are within a mile, is a formula for driving business away. The USPS will have to redistribute resources to areas that are more profitable, like all private businesses do, or continue to suffer ever larger deficits. If congress expects to maintain current levels of rural mail service, then appropriate a direct subsidy to cover the massive associated operating losses. Slashing service to Soviet levels in urban areas is only going to widen losses by driving business to UPS and FedEx. read more

My husband is a mail carrier who toils in the 100+ degree six-month-long summers here, usually 10 hours a day, six days a week, and I totally resent the attitude of several clerks at this station whom I have had the misfortune of being forced to deal with. I now go elsewhere, but recently had no choice but to visit this station again. The first clerk is a slovenly woman who frequently has stains on her shirts--lol, she expects ME to thank HER, and the same goes for everyone else who, by the luck of the draw, must deal with her. My most recent experience was waiting in line for 40 minutes, most of the time with only one clerk up front. When it was finally my turn, I asked for a non-flat rate priority box the clerk (different person than Ms. Slovenly) told me I would either have to pay flat rate or buy my own box because they were out of the boxes I wanted (there were none out front, or I would have been prepared to mail right away, as my label was ready), so then I asked for a small flat rate box and about a minute later she found the box I had originally requested because she didn't really know what she was talking about...and THEN, after I had waited SO long, she told me to step aside so she could help someone else while I spent 10 seconds stuffing and closing the box; I refused to step aside and reported the incident to a supervisor, who paid me lip service...good job! read more

The clerk (Julie) was rude from the first moment I walked up to the counter. I brought in about 20 small packages to be mailed, and she scoffed and refused to mail/meter them for me. She claims they do not do that, which is a flat out lie. I work for a small publishing company, and I come into the post office to do these mailings every week. There wasn't even anyone else in line. When I bring in things to ship, and I'm paying money the person at the counter should be doing what they are there getting paid to do. She was so lazy, she just said she would only be willing to sell me stamps. The supervisor there didn't even seem to have any problem with how rude this woman is when speaking to customers, or the fact that she didn't want to do her job. These people are utterly worthless. At any other place of employment they would have both been fired on the spot. This particular location has developed a reputation locally for having horrible service and rude employees. Let me say this I never envisioned that a United States Postal Service would have such poor service. As somebody who has traveled throughout the world and previously complained about the Postal Service available in places such as India and else where I truly thought I had seen the worst customer service in other areas of the world. Imagine my surprise when I encountered this particular USPS post office location. I have had packages tracked to the post office which have gone missing and I am not able to ascertain where they went but they have been tracked the post office. the extremely rude and uncooperative customer service present is i fathomable especially by Margaret Stuart one of the supervisors at this particular facility. The lack of professionalism has been mind-boggling. On a regular basis I have had packages disappear or returned to sender for no explained rational reason. I have also experienced having other people's packages put in my mailbox and vice a versa. I have had my mail open such as letters with money orders coming as gifts opened with no reason provided. Several occasions I've had my PO Box closed as a result of a error on the part of the clerk who was renewing my PO Box. And you guessed it the supervisor at the post office require me to pay a late fee and reopen new PO Box fee even though it was their error. I have complain but I have never been able to actually speak with the stationmaster nor have I been able to secure any reasonable effective follow up from the out-of-state consumer affairs. I have spoken to other patrons of this post office in the lobby and discovered that my experience has very much been mirrored with other individuals as well. My mother has sent some magazine subscriptions for my son which have been unexplainably returned to sender despite having his name on my PO Box and the correct address on the subscription. I receive monthly medical prescriptions from a pharmacy in Scottsdale. The prescription is tractor to the post office and this post office has managed to lose three different orders . As a result of this occurring in the pharmacy has elected to pay for shipping with UPS so as to avoid this issue .If you have the ability to take your business elsewhere I would highly recommend it you will be nothing but dissatisfied if you use the services at this post office I have good reason to believe that their employees were stealing the mail at the post office as well is after a customer complains about their missing packages there is a likelihood of vindictive retaliation that occurs as such my mailbox was closed on several occasions for no explainable reason read more

The employees in this office are so rude. The woman on the far left kiosk that is mentioned in other reviews is the most miserable disgusting excuse for a human being I've ever encountered. Every time I come in she is rude to every single person she helps. She is so passive aggressive. Slowly waddles around trying to take extra time to complete any task in order to make people wait longer. My guess is she has no power in her personal life so she uses the tiny bit of control she has over customers by wasting their time as much as possible. Don't even get me going on the employee that goes by the name of CeCe who told me I was interrupting her lunch break when she was called out to help by one of her coworkers. FYI CeCe - it wouldn't kill you to skip a meal. There is a reason these losers get paid $10 per hour. There is one half way nice woman that works there. The rest are horrible. read more
