Worst visit of my life. I'm trying to send my mother a package and was there with my 3year old. I spent 20 minutes between filling out address and waiting in line. When it's my turn I ask the lady to use some tape just to close it and she hands me a $4 roll to purchase. I'm spending 15$ just to send the package and she couldn't help me close my package! Never going here again. If I needed a WHOLE roll I would have purchase it but I didn't. I took the box and going to a local postal annex. read more

We recently had our mailboxes vandalized and now we have to pick up our mail at the post office every day until it gets repaired. I did not know how poorly run and rude this place was until I had to deal with them(Ouch). I can't believe my tax dollars pay these inconsiderate and lazy people. Gloria was wonderful. First time shipping APO and it was very important that someone help me with the process so my loved one can receive their package overseas. She was patient with me and helped me so much! I was there around 1130am and there was 30 second waits in the lines. The other customer service reps were very friendly and I could see that all the customers were happy with the service. I have no clue how this place can javr such a low rating on yelp. If I could negative stars to this place I would!!! The lady with the blonde hair definitely needs training like previous comments have suggested. She doesn't have any customer service experience!!! She is exterminate rude and has attitude problem!! She does not know how to communicate with people. My mother waited in line to ship some items and unluckily she was the one helping us, at first she's like you need another box when the items we had already came with a box then when I tried to find another box she said you don't have to. So why say that and waste my time if the box I already have works. then she refused to tape it and she's like, you have to make sure everything is taped before coming in. Which is not true because I have gone to other USPS locations and that was never an issue. She told us twice to step on the side when she had no right to do that and while helping us she was helping somebody else at the same time. I think there should be some privacy!! What if I don't want the person to see the address that I'm sending the items to or credit card number etc.. this is not acceptable. Then I had a letter to send and the envelope ripped so I had a little box and put it in there and she's like you can't use a stamp anymore and I'm going to have to charge you for it. When you ask her questions she doesn't seem that she wants to answer which is not how it should be!!! I think the management need to look into this situation because I could tell that she was rude to other people. read more

I'd give this place zero stars. The mail courier placed my package to the wrong box in the mailbox. I called because I need this package TODAY & they were just like oh well we can't do anything because mail person already went home have to wait till tomorrow morning. If I could give this post office zero stars I would. One of the workers she looks like she's hispanic and has reddish curly hair she is down right rude and not helpful at all. It's VERY apparent she doesn't want to be there. It took everything in me to be the bigger person and not make a seen. The place is always crowded thank goodness I only end up in a post office about twice a year if that. Next time I will go to the one in Wildomar where they are much more friendly and not as crowded! read more

This post office will deliver your mail to other people. They will not help you find your mail and packages and they do not care.

The Post Office re-keyed my mailbox for no reason so I tried calling this location to ask what was going on. Some guy who barely spoke any English answered the phone and was breathing very heavily. After I told him my address he put me on hold... 26 minutes...let me repeat... TWENTY-SIX MINUTES later he finally puts me back on and says it's not their fault and if I want them to fix the problem I have to pay $50. Wow...no wonder so many people want this waste of space out of business. read more

The lines at this Post Office are continually long, my average wait time is 15 minutes. My biggest complaint however is about the mail delivery and the fact that daily my delivery person speeds up and down my cul de sac. I have reported this two times in person at the post office and it is obvious that either they have done nothing about it or my delivery person just doesn't care. Never go 30 minutes before closing. Hard to find parking. You can't park anywhere even the slots that are mark usps. They're slow at the counter. Not very convenient. Had a package that got sent to the Marietta Post Office by accident. Had tracking on the package. Tracking ended in Murrieta and so far the package has not been seen. I don't think they understand at this Post Office that when there is tracking there is tracking and they have no proof that they ever sent this package anywhere. They said it was sent on to the "destination" but it was never scanned out of Murrieta. The package has vanished. At least the USPS is doing an investigation. I hope to god I never have another package routed through this PO for any reason. How this package got there in the first place is beyond imagination. I have had very good luck with the USPS and this isn't a slam on them . It is a slam on THIS POST OFFICE. They do not do their jobs and it shows. read more

There is rarely parking spots, the lines are always long and they're always out of supplies (flat rate envelopes etc)! Get it together!

If you want to see un-orginized and terrible service this is the place to go. They lost my package they dont know where it is.An employee said I didnt scan that someone must have used my scanner on the package and she didnt know anything. Small post office located off the 215 freeway, across the street from In N Out. There is always a line of some sort here, I try to avoid standing in line whenever possible and hit up the self service kiosk. You can buy stamps, send large packages, all without the mindless chit chat from a postal employee. The store manager is nice but perhaps a little too flirty with female customers. read more

Everyone is so friendly here. As busy as it gets they maintain a pretty positive attitude.

The workers have been very helpful and have made sure that my visit was as quick and efficient as possible. I have also witnessed extra staff come from the back to help out with speeding people through and assisting with the automated services during peak hours. read more

I've been to this Post Office many times and always had wonderful service. They step up to help you even if you haven't asked for it and are always pleasant. Well today I had the best service of all! The other day I went into the office to get stamps and was assisted to get stamps from the machine. Two days later I was scrambling trying to find my debit card and while looking at my online account realized the USPS on Los Alamos was the last place I used it. This morning I was there right after the office opened and the ladies who worked there had my debit card. I'm so thankful I live in a city where people are honest enough to turn in a debit card when they find it and postal employees who are also honest enough to protect my card for me. This review is regarding, a.) USPS mail delivery to my home in Wildomar and 2.) The post office on Los Alamos in Murrieta... Issues with Mail Carrier Service: We consistently receive our Neighbors' mail and are frequently hand-delivering misguided mail back and forth to each other. I have never had this happen in any other place that I've lived! It happens SO frequently, it is down-right frustrating. And back when Starbucks used to deliver gold card free drink coupons, we only received one out of 7. We've also frequently had mail arrive open, including greeting cards and such. Issues with Los Alamos Post Office: I sent some documents in a padded mailer and received a tracking number for them. I DID lose my receipt. But after 2 months and giving them my information (and the addressee's) several times, the package never arrived and could not be traced. It was a horrid experience. Yes, I ought to have purchased signature confirmation or the like but I had just enough money that day to cover the cost to ship. This being said, I have only lost 2 packages that I've mailed out in the last 7 or 8 years. I sell online and have mailed around 400-500 packages by hand to area post offices. That's a fairly good return on their services, in my opinion. Definitely not perfect. But good. The home delivery of mail depending on the person delivering still leaves MUCH to be desired. My advice is to use the following locations when mailing instore: Wildomar Post office on Palomar and Old Town Murrieta Location. The Old Town Temecula Location is awesome as well! read more

Thank you Pamela for helping with my box. I printed the shipping label from home and was standing in line to drop off. It was a large box and I was holding my 2yr who was sleeping. I didn't stand there 30 seconds when she looked over at me and came from around the counter and grabbed the box from me. The box wasn't heavy and I wasn't uncomfortable at all but I was grateful that she saw the large box and the child and helped without missing a beat. Just to update and clarify my last review...I did manage to retrieve my package so it wasn't a total LOSS thank heaven. It was brought to me by my neighbor who kindly delivered it because it was apparently 'accidentally' put in her box by mistake. :( Still sad that the PO can't seem to get it right. Like others I have to agree this is one of the absolute worst Post Office is in terms of customer service ever. Employee Andrea seems to have an adversion to doing her job rolls her eyes at you And gives you attitude and is extremely condescending when you ask her to scan your packages in and give you a receipt she has been consistently rude for months finally after she was rude to my daughter I asked to speak to a supervisor, Eric the supervisor who couldn't be bothered to get out of his seat told me that I would need to wait. I then spoke to Andrea about her attitude only for her to become combative and argumentative Eric finally decided to turn around to ask the problem and when I spoke to him about andrea's attitude and how I would like it to stop he then told me that it my statement was untrue because he knows Her.Andrea then decided to smirk and tell me well you heard what my Supervisor said.Andrea and Eric know that they are government employees and that nothing will be done and have 0 customer service skills and 0 interest in changing them. If I could avoid having to deal with having them Scan my packages to get a receipt I absolutely would but Unfortunately this Post Office has lost a few of my packages in the past. The male worker with the accent tends to give attitude to people who do not understand what he's saying. I will not be coming back here. This is the only post I like to go to. The girls there are very knowledgeable and they always help out if you have a question. Don't ship international packages from this office. The staff does not know how to send a box (PM express international mail) with insurance greater than $200. A basic service that a small business owner needs. It took four trips to different offices to get estimates and when I went to the Haun office, my estimate was hundreds of dollars cheaper than the estimate provided by the office at Los Alamos. My research revealed that the cause of the issue is lack of personnel knowledge. Agents, supervisor on down, do not know how to find a cost effective, 30 lbs box, international shipment with insurance greater than $200. It is sad to see that they don't even know the capabilities of their postal database system. I give one star because I can not provide a lower review through Yelp. Otherwise, it is unsat and deserves greater attention at the corporate level. read more

Post Office Los Alamos Rod Murrieta, is the worst incompetent post office I had ever had to deal with they are so incompetent. They lost my money order to pay for my P O Box, then they have the gull to tell me it's my fault, because I didn't pay extra for tracking hum why do I have too I'm supposed to trust the post office with my mail and packages to delivery to its destination RIGHT! Then they tell me I have to buy an inquiry to monitor my money order to see if anyone has cashed it, the clerk puts the wrong PO Box number on my inquiry, I told her its wrong she says its okay it won't affect the inquiry well it did for my refund, what a gimmick. So now I've lost my PO BOX because they never received my payment, so now my mail is flowing around, then they lost my refund they are so incompetent, and there's Nothing I can do about it. Lost my PO Box and my refund a bunch of idiots running the post office now days. The lady that answered the phone was rude would not hear me out and kept raising her voice at me that there was nothing they can do. they get no ratings from me. But one for Mike that heard me out. Ripped off and worst customer service from supervisor Melissa. Went in on Friday morning to mail a package that I needed sent overnight and was directed by an employee to use a Kiosk since there was a long line. Paid for overnight shipping on Kiosk and dropped in designated bin. Tracked my package and it was supposed to arrive to its destination Saturday by 12 PM however it did not arrive until Monday. All priority and express shipping has a money back guarantee so I went today to ask for a refund for $33 because my item did not arrive as promised. The supervisor Melissa told me that since I dropped the item in the designated been it didn't get scanned until Saturday therefore it wasn't mailed until Monday however that is not my fault I have my receipt that proves the date and time that I dropped the item in the designated bin on Friday for an overnight shipping and because their employees didn't get to the package until Saturday I got screwed over not only did my item not arrive as promised but they refused to refund me not even a part of the amount that I paid. There is no sign that says to hand express shipping item to employees anywhere. She simply did not care and just said it's not her fault. Wow usps should reconsider their customer service guidelines and train their "supervisors" better. read more

Beware when the post office tells you that it will cost you an extra 20 cents to mail your wedding invitations because they have tiny little jewels on them and they have to be "hand-cancelled' rather than go through the machine. I spent an extra 20 cents per invitation, mailed them on January 4th and here on January 16th, two people still have not received theirs. One received hers yesterday almost two weeks after I mailed it and stated that the envelope was dirtied, there were no markings from the post office on it (that would tell us the date it finally went through the system). Of all the people NOT to receive their invitation - my pastor who is performing the ceremony did not receive his. If he had not said something to my daughter I wouldn't have known. When one mails wedding invitations the last thing on one's mind is to call everyone to make sure they received it. I only used the Murrieta post office because they were the only ones that had special wedding stamps in stock. I live in Temecula. I am extremely disappointed in my experience with the Murrieta branch and incensed that I spent an extra 20 cents per envelope to boot. Not again. Very poor service if they can't get my wedding invitations to the recipients. This caused me much undue stress. read more
