Sigh. I hate piling on with bad reviews, but this place is rather 'ehh'. Never had the rude treatment mentioned by other people but... a) This place is slow. Frankly, I think they modeled the animated sloths at the DMV in 'Zootopia' after these people. b) I won't say they're rude, but pretty monosyllabic. Not very helpful, that's for sure. c) There's a kinda-cool mural on the wall over the counters. Just stare at it when you're in line and think 'Calgon, take me away!' Still, they're usually not overflow-level busy except near holidays, and parking's OK. This part of Lake Elsinore is a little sketchy at night so I'd be careful about picking up the mail after dark.

Shaq was funny and down to Earth. Super helpful and super nice. The USPS needs to give him a fat raise.

Pickup and drop off only which is annoying. Online it says I can get my QR code scanned and mailed.

The area seems sketchy! No parking and really small. Only one person working there at the front on a Tuesday afternoon.

The PostalAnnex at California Oaks (Murrieta, No. 92563)…read more Murrieta, California. The wide avenues of Riverside County stretch beneath a relentless sun, where strip malls rise like modest caravanserais along the trail. Tucked into one such outpost at 40960 California Oaks Road lies PostalAnnex--a quiet emporium of shipping, printing, and the unexpected. You arrive expecting the usual postal rites: boxes, tape, the faint scent of cardboard. What you discover instead is a pleasant revelation--this unassuming annex offers LiveScan fingerprinting, a service as rare in these parts as a cool breeze in July. Convenient? Exceedingly so. Mere minutes from the highway, sparing one the pilgrimage to distant county offices or sterile government halls. The gentleman behind the counter greets you with genuine courtesy--no hurried sighs, no veiled impatience. Friendly, efficient, almost disarmingly so. The process unfolds with expeditionary grace: forms completed, fingers rolled across the glass platen, digital ghosts captured and dispatched to whatever bureaucracy awaits them. The entire affair? A brisk twelve to fifteen minutes--swift enough to feel like a minor detour on a grand journey. The store itself brims with character: shelves laden with knickknacks, gadgets, greeting cards, and the sort of eclectic inventory that invites browsing. A touch of organized chaos, the mark of a true general store reborn for the modern age. One small quibble--the scanning platen bears the faint fingerprints of previous travelers, a light film that speaks of steady use rather than neglect. Nothing, however, that a quick mist of Purell cannot remedy (bring your own, or politely request; either suffices). Service requested: LiveScan fingerprinting. Quality: swift and personable. Value: exceptional, given the rarity and proximity. In a landscape where such services are often distant or dour, this PostalAnnex stands as a welcome surprise--an oasis of convenience and cordiality. One leaves with clean records (eventually) and a lighter step. Yes. Most certainly.

This is a great location and if you do not need help from staff it's great to drop mail off ONLY…read more Last Friday, I had a one of the worst customer service experiences. I submitted a complaint on the post website it was so disrespectful. The manager named himself and then would not listen to my side/perspective on their tape rule. He interrupted me, walked away and even said "I'm done talking" after interrupting me for the last time because I addressed it. The supervisor has called and apologized to address the matters. I appreciate them acknowledging their wrongs. Unfortunately, this will not be my first post office choice anymore, even though it is the closest to my home. For some reason, whenever I need staff help I have found the experiences to be rather uncomfortable due to poor customer service. Like another postman said, "there's just a certain way to go about things" I understood I was wrong and they have this tape policy but I will not allow poor (rude) customer service to go unnoticed as a person that has worked in the customer service industry. The golden rule needs to be in every office, treat others how you want to be treated. This is a great post for DROP OFF ONLY and I did get my passport here so they do get the job done but are friendly...maybe
