We decided to stay a few more days at Pechanga, last minute, so I needed to wash a few clothes. At…read morefirst, I checked on the prices the hotel was charging and it was basically $4 for each item of clothing... ridiculous! So I googled the closest laundromat to the hotel and this was one of two options. From first glance on Yelp, Town Center was the cleanest looking place out of the two and seemed to be surrounded by plenty of shops and restaurants because I would need something to do while waiting on my clothes. So, I headed there. I've never used a laundromat before, so I was pretty clueless on how things work. I went to the store to get cash for quarters for the machines and I guess machines don't take quarters anymore. All payments are with a card and they have laundry vending machines with all of the necessary items if needed. They have plenty of rows of wash machines and dryers with different sizes for small or larger loads. Lastly, it seemed like every where I looked there were assistants on every row helping people with questions or advice on the size of their loads and the best machines for which. They were super helpful with anything I needed. It took about an hour and a half so I went and grabbed a bite to eat in the plaza, came back and watched some football on the flat screen TV's they have on the walls. I'd come back again if I ever need to wash something while staying at Pechanga. OOOO 4 out of 5 Afros

Machines are all antiquate, half of them steal your money and there's no one to help you to get it back, homeless are always hanging out there, never feel safe. You're on your own with guessing whether any machine works - unless you find a series of sticky notes covering the coin slot. Even the exchange dollar bills for quarter machines are an operational crap shoot - that's how antiquated the system is. When I can't make it to Temecula where there are upgraded, digital machines, 5 star, manned with an assistant service, I get to reluctantly come to Sun City and play roulette with the quarters. No refunds if the machine eats your money - if the dryer doesn't dry - if the washing machine never starts. It happens a lot. Newer equipment has been installed in about 1/3 of the place - even that is questionable. DON'T put your money into a digital card - even those don't work. Lastly, often the water levels are so slight, I feel...gypped, ripped off, frustrated almost to tears - I had to calm myself by sweeping up the place, yesterday 07-03-25 - don't want to clean my dirty laundry in a disheveled, ratty laundry mat. There, I said it. I'll figure out a way to get to Temecula. Go to a casino and drop your money ... better odds. JUST GOOGLED A NEARBY LAUNDROMAT(S) - 1. TEMECULA OFF OF RANCHO CALIFORNIA RD. IN THE TARGET CENTER - BEEN THERE - MACHINES TAKE DEBIT CARDS AND ATTENDANTS HELP YOU. 2. LAKE ELSINORE OFF OF MISSION TRAIL. GUESS WHERE i'M GOING NEXT TIME?
