I've been a paying customer at this UPS Store location for quite some time, maintaining a postage…read morebox here and expecting--at the very least--basic courtesy and professionalism. Unfortunately, every encounter with Betty, the manager at this location, is a test of patience. Betty is consistently rude, dismissive, and seems completely uninterested in providing even the most minimal level of customer service. Simple inquiries are met with condescension or eyerolls, and she often acts as though customers are inconveniencing her by simply existing. For someone in a customer-facing role, her attitude is shockingly unprofessional. It's frankly unacceptable that I, or any paying customer, should have to deal with this kind of treatment. A UPS Store should be a place where customers feel respected and supported--not belittled or brushed off. The other employees are great, and she could learn to take note. Management needs to seriously reconsider whether Betty belongs in a role that requires regular interaction with the public. There are to many other options to choose from if this is what can be expected.

I had my credit card in hand, ready to pay for my $3 printed shipping label, as I always do. "Please know that our pricing is based on the high-quality materials, expert labor." - Yeah, "expert labor" is really needed to slap a piece of "high quality" tape on the top of my box. I'm not even paying with my own money, but off principle alone, I'm driving 10 minutes to the next UPS where they don't try to nickel and dime every customer that walks in. I've been to a UPS in several different states, and all happily taped the top of my box with no questions asked.

In passing, this woman had the audacity to stop my husband and me on our way back to our vehicle. She asked if our car was the one parked in front of the store. Thinking someone had hit my car or that there was an emergency, I said yes. Instead, she stopped us just to tell us not to park there because it makes it difficult for her customers to bring in packages. I can absolutely understand and respect that request. I am always willing to accommodate others. However, it was the incredibly rude manner in which this lady approached us that was completely unacceptable. I apologized and let her know that there are absolutely no signs indicating that the parking spot is reserved exclusively for Postal Plus. She claimed they "plan on adding one in the future," but as it stands, it is public parking. If this individual treats random people in the community with this much disrespect, I can only imagine how she treats actual customers. First impressions matter, and this was a terrible one.
