I sent out 25 graduation invitations using their USPS slot/ box, thinking this has to be better than using my mailbox. Come to find out a little over a week, no one received the invitations. I thought that was strange, so I decided to stop by and ask what happened. They said they dont know and for me to check with the post office I thought that was bizarre! I mean, they choose to be the middle man, and i get screwed. So I had to go buy 25 more invitations, labels, and postage. This time, i decided to mail them from the post office themself, and guess what?! They all received the invitations. I dont believe in coincidence. i believe postal annex lost my invitations. Worse ever!!! Lady messed up my live scan print and my Wife's as well.. We were charged more than it should have been. Also missed a vital check which was needed on my form in the first place. After realizing the error I called them to let them know to which the employee made it known that she did not "mess up" so much so that it was aggressive and rude. Now being defensive she cuts me off repeatedly..all signs of someone just covering their own butt..I went to another postal annex got it done for less..asked how this mistake could have happened and we found out that yes! it in deed could have only been done on their end during processing payment. So the kicker is after a day, the place wanted me to come in to redo the whole thing..and still charge me for the state processing fee because they are too cheap to eat the cost to mediate the whole thing. This was the solution from the supervisor which I still now even doubt is involved or contacted about this matter. So let's recap..neglecting employee which blames training for program makes actual mistake, sees the problem doesn't offer a solution for guest, instead dances around it for self preservation, and is clueless on how to address the situation as a whole for immediate remedy..just a nightmare.The employees name is Shannon..she'll be rocking the CBD dispensary shirt every friday while mishandling your items!!Thanks!! read more

I have used Postsl Annex stores in other cities. I typically have a good experience in all of them. Today here at the Canyon Lake store was exceptionally great. The young lady behind the counter, boy did she help me out. She put my daughter stuff (cloths) in the exact right size shipping box, all packaged up nice and neat. Showed me a couple of lessons about how to tape my package properly. She was extremely helpful. I want to say thank you to her. I really appreciate her great attitude. We talked about counterfeit money because I also have a business. She was nice enough to give me a pen to verify authenticity of $100 and $20 bills. I thought that was very gracious and polite. I always frequent this postal annex since I moved locally. All the girls work really hard to get you in and out. I have gotten notary service. I have sold things on eBay , and have had no issues. I went today to try to overnight some papers. They already know me, and always try to save me money. I notice people get really impatient. If you want things done right you have to be willing to wait. In my case I refuse to go to the post office on Central. The wait is horrible good luck finding parking, to save $3 to $4 no thanks! read more

Way under staffed under qualified and rude. The lady working Saturday Feb 27th was way over head slow, zero customer service. Since I had several packages she made me wait while she did a notary where she was obviously way under qualified for, as customers piled up after making me wait 10 minutes she decided to take other customers before she would get to mine, perhaps it entailed actual work above and beyond her lazy under qualified self wants to or could handle. When I brought to her attention I was next she decided to rudely admonish me in front of customers and told me to "go to Canyon Lake" instead and told me I can talk to the owner Cindy. Cindy if you read this your business and your employee needs to learn what true customer service and quality service entails. Yes I will go elsewhere and so should everyone else. I wouldn't mail a marble down the street from this business. Canyon Hills needs and deserves a quality Postal Annex not a third rate wanna be post office. I would give it Zero stars if I could. My daughter did not receive her Christmas presents because they used FedEx. Her address is a PO Box and apparently FedEx does not deliver to PO Boxes. I contacted FedEx, they sent it to her PREVIOUS address, and of course the people that live there now said they never got anything! So the PostalAnnex employee made a mistake (a big one), but mistakes happen. What is most upsetting is that Postal Annex is not offering any compensation for this mistake. They wouldn't even return my phone calls. I finally got through to them through email. I was hoping for just maybe a shipping credit. They offered nothing. Terrible customer service! read more

They lost my fedex envelope with a clients check. Irresponsible!!! I had my daughter walk in and hand them a fedex envelope while I waited in the car. The Asian girl behind the counter told my daughter to put it in a bin with a pink sign that said mail going out. This was Friday 7/31 on Tuesday 8/4 fedex did not have the envelope information. When I called this postal annex to speak to someone they took my phone number and tracking number then told me they would call me when they tracked it. A woman calls me to ask me what my question was??? I repeated to her what happened she replied that bin was the USPS pick up... I asked her how could this happen? To check her video camera since she kept asking me for a description of the girl behind the counter on Friday. USELESS! All other postal annex stores take the envelope when it is handed to them. I moved here exactly 2 years ago. I had alot of things still with Escrow that I needed help with. They have been my lifesavers. I have sent eBay items to important SSI documents, and they have always been very helpful. I made the mistake of going to the post office off Central I'm not sure I saved any money the line and parking was horrendous. The one thing I will always remember when the pandemic started I didn't have a mask and the owner was so kind she gave me one. This meant so much because my grandma had just passed away, and I could see they really cared. Today I felt bad that I have never written a review. The owner saw me waiting and opened the door for me. It was past closing. I really needed to send out some items, and she was kind the entire time. I'm not sure what people expect. Very rude and incompetent staff that has no knowledge of how to prioritize customers' needs. I was waiting in line for over 10 minutes due to a customer in front of me not knowing what they need. This customer had to call someone to confirm which product, which took forever. All while the line is getting longer and longer. I just needed to ring up a stamp, which would take no more than a minute. But when I asked the lady if she could ring me up real quick, she rudely said no. Therefore I had to walk out empty handed, to another postal store, which made me late to my appointment. Save yourself some time and stress by going elsewhere. read more

Sent a small box to my son currently at Army Basic Training at Fort Benning, Georgia. I was charged over $30! When I questioned it, the lady couldn't really explain why and that she felt it "might have something to do with the address", which is a weird military address. She even stated, "I've sent bigger, heavier items to the east coast for much less". Yet she made no attempt to investigate a cheaper alternative or the correct way to address the box. Very poor customer service. Will not be returning. EDIT: Looked closer at my receipt. She sent it FedEx Ground. There was NO mention at all that she was sending it via FedEx. I need to say on the first week of August I went to this annex post office to renew my husband's passport. The lady there was very nice & helped me & told me she has experience on renewing a passport. she told me the amount so I wrote a check right then and there for the passport. She was really helpful but she was incorrect short by $12.50..a letter was sent to me by the passport dept. Requesting the remainder of the money on 10/20. I would not recommend you to renew your passport there go to the official post office and get it done there if you want it done correctly! This delayed the passport & I am praying that it gets here ASAP. Very Disappointed!!! read more

I have to say I gave this place two chances and they mess up! 1. Mailed a package they weigh it I paid them and it was return to me cause it didn't have enough postage! 2. I went to have a paper notary it came back to me cause they didn't put the notary seal! Didn't offer to pay for overnight postage on this important documents. She did notary job carefully and copy all docs for me. Then sent out by overnight envelope. When she closed store. It was almost forty minutes after their regular closing time.
