Had my livescan completed here the first time, however it's not my first time completing them as it's required frequently for renewing licensing. There really are no words to adequately convey the rudeness and condescending behavior you'll experience here. There was no wait but the girl was obviously in a mood and didn't have a problem conveying this to her customers. The other lady at the counter wasn't any kinder either when looking over my paperwork. To add insult to this, the woman did a really terrible job in taking my prints and they were rejected and this could possibly delay reissuing my license not allowing me to work. I called to let them know about the bad quality and they were AGAIN nasty over the phone. These people can turn in bad quality if they so choose as they can see the prints they send with a rating. They sent crap, and this is what they do here. The reviews aren't lying, should have read them first. I highly suggest that you head down Newport to the annex there off Murrieta road. (They also charge a little less) I went there after and didn't need my rejection letter and paid for another service again to get results to the FBI and completion in less than 12 hours! I've always had good experiences at this location in the past, but today was a completely different story. I brought my grandparents in for a simple notarization, which should've been quick and easy. While I was having a normal, casual conversation with my grandmother nothing disruptive or related to the document the notary suddenly stopped what she was doing and told me to stop talking. I told her that she might want to work on her customer service skills, and honestly, that could have been the end of it. But instead, she decided to keep arguing with me, as if she couldn't just let it go. What really stood out was how she repeatedly felt the need to remind me that "everyone always compliments her customer service." I'm not sure why that mattered in the moment, because her attitude during this interaction was the complete opposite of what I'd call good customer service. It didn't stop there. She leaned over the counter toward my grandfather in a way that felt condescending almost like she was questioning whether he was of sound mind to understand what he was signing. That was completely unnecessary and honestly insulting, considering he is perfectly healthy and fully aware of everything he does. At that point, my grandparents were so uncomfortable they refused to stay any longer. We went to UPS immediately after, and not only did they notarize the document quickly and politely, but even they found it surprising that someone would act like that over something so small. There was zero issue at UPS with me having a simple conversation, and they treated my grandparents with the respect they deserve. I've always given this location the benefit of the doubt because of past positive experiences, but this visit was disappointing and unprofessional. If you're in customer service, you have to be able to handle simple interactions without turning them into unnecessary conflicts or making customers feel uncomfortable. Hopefully this location addresses this kind of behavior, because it's not at all what I've come to expect here. read more

I went to this location for a Live Scan and had one of the worst customer service experiences I've had in a long time. The woman conducting the process was extremely disrespectful, dismissive, and unprofessional from the start. There was no courtesy, no patience, and absolutely no basic professionalism. Live Scan appointments are usually tied to important matters -- licensing, employment, background checks -- and the last thing anyone needs is to be treated poorly while handling something serious. Instead of being helpful or at least neutral, the interaction felt rude and uncomfortable. As a small business owner myself, I understand how important it is to treat customers with respect, regardless of the situation. You represent your business every time you interact with someone. This experience was unacceptable and left a very negative impression. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this location for Live Scan services. Review is based on a drop-off for UPS pick-up. I don't really come to these places, but I usually stop in only to mail textbooks back at the end of the semester. This place serves it purpose. They sell materials you would need to ship items, rent out P.O. boxes, provide notary services, fingerprinting, etc. I stopped in on a weekday afternoon around 3 pm. I had my book rental packed and labeled, ready to be picked up by UPS. No one was in there when I walked in, so the lady helped me right away. She asked if I wanted the receipt, and I said yes. I've heard horror stories (not from or about this place) about mailed items going M.I.A., so I like to have my paper trail until I know for sure it has reached its destination. First off, I want to say Allison and the girl with the pink hair are super sweet! We came in, and she explained why she couldn't provide a service and kept apologizing. No biggie, we worked it out and had to come back in. Erin, it depends on the time and day you come into contact with her. She comes off as rude, but I think it's her approach. She did become nicer near the end of our interaction, but dang girl, work on those social skills! I get it, I've worked in customer service, and you have people be rude just because, but don't be rude when simple questions are asked. The process is already confusing; a simple "I'm sorry, I can't tell you" or "unfortunately, as a notary, I can't answer that question" would've been okay. Not "I don't know, I can't tell you" type of attitude. When she did my fingerprints, she was professional and super friendly. Especially when the gentleman and his grandparents came in, by the way, it was Allison who began to service them, and she asked the standard questions directed to whom it may concern and who was signing, and he kept answering for them. She told him they needed to respond, and he kept talking over her. Plus, grandma had her shirt inside out, so I would want to ensure she understood what she was signing too. If you go to this location, Allison, the Pink-Haired girl (I'm sorry, I didn't catch your name) has always been consistent. This location charges for everything including the free stuff so I go and use postal annex all the time and the stuff like printing out the USPS paper it's absolutely free it cost nothing even for the company to get it from USPS. It's free and yesterday I was at a post annex shipped out 11 items and I needed all of the USPS stickers printed up from a QR code. They did it absolutely free this location. I sent my wife there yesterday because I was somewhere else out of town with a QR code all they needed to do is print up the sticker from USPS. We're going to charge you over three dollars for that sticker that is absolutely free. This location sucks they charge for everything including price. Gouging only go here if you need to if somewhere else is open, go there first I promise you will save a lot more money they even up charge. I believe Candi was helping me when I went in. I went in kind of a mess, trying to mail a passport form, ship 3 boxes across the country, and buy stamps for Christmas cards. I felt bad since it was a holiday rush but she took me step by step, she was patient when I got flustered. She was fast and efficient, as well as very nice. I was in and out within 15 minutes. Let me start by saying, if you use this postal annex that is cluttered, dirty, and has rude employees, this is going to be a bad idea for a few key reasons: This dirty environment can be a breeding ground for bacteria, germs, and allergens, potentially putting your health at risk. You deserve a clean and safe space to conduct business, and a messy postal annex may make you uncomfortable or even expose you to health risks. By the looks of this store, it screams Inefficiency. A chaotic environment increases the chance of mistakes happening, and it might take longer to get your service completed. We trust our valuables will get to the destination we are paying for. When I asked for assistance with notarizing some paperwork, I was met with resistance and a lack of willingness to help. They provided multiple excuses as to why they couldn't assist me, which left me feeling both upset and confused. What was even more disheartening is that I visited another location just down the street shortly afterward and received immediate, helpful service without any issues. Idk what the issue was today. I've gone in here before to ship a usps medium flat rate priority box and never paid more than $20. I went today and the red hair lady was nice but told me it would be $60 before she even started the transaction. I asked why as I've paid X amount in the past which is the reason why I use that specific usps box. She says "idk that's just what it costs". I asked her to pull it up in the system to confirm because that didn't sound accurate and she said "I know for a fact it's at least $60" I even pulled up the price on the usps website and they only charge $19.30 so not sure why she's hiking up the price. My fault I guess went in and bought forever stamps should for usps charged 100 dollars for a hundred stamps I asked girl if this what stamp cost as I wasn't sure. I looke they are 73 cents each not a dollar each. Been coming there since 2004 won't go back if they lie to you to rip you off for 27 dollars. Going post office to see if they allowed to do this as grocery stores don't up charge 30 percent they really must like the customer great place to legally steal your money and lie to you to do it great company ethics and policy will never go in this store again they made a lot more then 27 bucks from us in 21 years what crooks read more

I got a live scan here and it was way overpriced. More than twice the cost that to DOJ charges. You are better off going to the police department, at least you won't get gouged. When I was told the price they were just like that's what the agency charges. When I said wow you charge a lot. I know that the DOJ charges are only 25 bucks she just shrugged and said that's what the agency charges and I said no, YOU guys charge a lot. She just stared at me. I regret going through with it. Customer Service was not helpful. I needed to get a letter out quickly and originally wanted it to go out and be delivered before the weekend. Candi explained that she had 2 options one for $68 and the other for $25 and that both there is no guarantee (she repeated that several times as if I was not understanding what that meant). The envelope is going 30 miles and was just paper-- so it is not travelling FAR and is not heavy. I explained that I had started to do a shipment from home through USPS and the cost was about $10 so it was odd that it was double the price here. I am a small business owner and I have a shipping label maker at home. The cost for me to send this the same way from home would be less than $13. I did not have the Priority Flat Rate envelope handy for me to ship myself and FRANKLY, I paid the price for the convenience I guess. There was another lady in there that said she recommended that I go with the $68! I am not sure how postal annex's work but seemed to me that the costs were significantly more than doing it yourself... especially since these flat rate envelopes are FREE at the post office. Lesson learned, I would drive farther and take the time at the post office or UPS store than to come here again, I have went to several Postal Annex's and have always found them very helpful at finding the best solution and price. AWFUL customer service. Truly awful. TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE! Look, if you're going to advertise yourself as a postal location (with the USPS logo on your glass, no less), then offer services commensurate to the Post Office. I don't care if you charge for it, or what you do, but provide a similar-quality experience. Walked in here on a Saturday, after typical USPS hours. I've gone to this location before with prepaid items, and the staff happily scanned them and provided me a receipt. This time, however, they REFUSED to scan my item, claiming they couldn't scan USPS items - only FedEx and UPS. I reminded them that they've done it in the recent past, and the guy says he can't. I ask for clarification about "can't" or "won't". I'm told can't. That's dishonest, I tell him, because it's been done before. I ask whether their machine is unable to scan them, and he gives a half-answer before owning up to the fact that they technically CAN scan them, they just won't. Gave some BS halfway excuse about USPS not having the "manpower" to help if an item is lost; said UPS and FedEx do. I don't know about anyone else, but UPS and FedEx have AWFUL customer service lines, and so USPS can't be any worse. I asked for the manager, he says he is the manager. Then some other lady pipes up from out in the floor area and speaks over him; if he was the manager, it wouldn't make sense to speak over him, now would it? Generally, managers don't take kindly to that. Long story short, the guy holds onto my package for an uncomfortable amount of time, generally refusing to do anything with it, until I finally just left, exasperated. Here's hoping their dishonesty doesn't carry over to package stealing. I'll be checking daily to verify that it made it to USPS; if I didn't have a SUPER busy week coming up this week, I probably would've taken my shot elsewhere. It's nice to have a place to ship your stuff out on weekends and not have to wait in long lines at the post office.It's also very cool that I was able to get my daughter's passport photo done here, on a weekend no less, because the hours at the post office for passport photos are very limited in time. The Yelp hours says that it's closed on Sundays, but it's actually open, so don't get it confused. read more
