We have a Mail Box here and couldn't be happier. My wife and I travel a lot so we don't check the box regularly. They save our mail and will send it to us in the 48 States for a nominal fee should we need it. The staff is knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. They accept FedEx and UPS as well as USPS and they also ship. Our packages are safe til we can pick them up. They offer the same services as the post office but with a smile. We had a PO Box at a post office which we all know, those employees are not customer friendly. Nor does the PO go above just delivering the mail. This Postal Annex runs circles around a No Customer Service Post Office. read more

I have been going to this location for couple of years now. The ladies that work here are ALWAYS top notch! Going above and beyond to make sure I have what I need to ship out my docs in a timely manner. They are friendly, kind, outgoing and they all have great stories! Kim, Kandy and krew are really nice, friendly and helpful (only one exception, but even that employee is okay)! They carry A LOT of merchandise in their small space; some are impulse items and the latest fad toys, but most are related to their business (getting cards, boxes and bubble wrap...). It can make this little store very crowded, but not trigger claustrophobia I'm not really sure if their competitors carry all the same stuff, but it doesn't matter. I have a PO Box here and I love it. I'm always checking my mail so I'm in the store at least once a week. I'm always greeted by the staff when I walk in which is nice and genuine to me. It's ridiculous to me this place has a low rating because their expensive. What the heck to people expect going to a postal ANNEX to ship stuff. That's like going to Walmart to cash a check and complaining because of their outrageous check cashing fee when the bank does it for free. Of course their gonna be a rip off. That's how it works when you go to places like this. BUT the pros are their open late, not in a overly crowded area, and sometimes we pay for conveniences like this. And I personally don't get people that actually PAY for something and then get online and gripe. What stops them simply saying "that's too much" and leaving?? I know my 2 feet get to stepping when someone quotes me some ridiculous price. Don't hate the player, hate the game. read more

I did not want to believe it but it's true. This place over charged me by almost $40! My husband needed some documents sent asap, so he recommend I go here. I had inconsistent service from them in the past. Sometimes good, sometime not so good, so I started going to the UPS on Scott Rd and Antelope. It's only about a mile south of here. These docs specifically needed Fed Ex so hubby told me to go here. With great reservation, I came here on Thursday to get these overnight to Milpitas,CA. I told Candie that I needed it Fed Ex and I needed it tomorrow. She quoted me $108.43! I was blown away. I went ahead and did it because that's what my husband wanted but I texted him a photo of the receipt so he could have a copy for his records. He was livid because he called Fed Ex and they quoted him much lower prices! I still cannot believe they would rip people off like this!? I had been a repeat customer. Wow. It really blows my mind that a business would do that to loyal customers. Buyer beware. Go to the UPS on Scott Rd and Antelope or the Post Office off Haun or even Staples. I called first thing in the morning to see if they were completing live scans and I was told yes, from open until close. I asked for an appointment, they do not take them, Candy said just to walk in. I came in at 230 and spoke to Candy, with 3 people in line and she told me they were too busy, this is the second time they screwed up. The first time the prints were rejected and now I had to PAY for them twice because it has to be within the timeframe. I went to a different location. Don't waste your time here. read more

The people who work there are friendly. Store is clean. But they are soooo overpriced. And when you send things through USPS with them, you have to pay extra for tracking... which now comes standard at the actual post office. For example, I had an envelope with some pictures, I wasn't sure how many stamps it would need.. so I stopped in to mail it. They said it would need 3 stamps, and it would be $2.45! Stamps are $0.47 each, which would only be $1.41 to mail my envelope. So they were overcharging me $1.04! I understand that places charge more for convenience, but I rather drive over the freeway to the post office and not get overcharged. read more

There's a reason why this place only has a 3 star rating! I came in to ask about USPS flat rate shipping. I was told they don't have the boxes for it but that if I have them, I can ship them there. I got my boxes and came back on another day to ship. I was then told that the shipping was about 2x the amount as the USPS, even though the boxes are a "standard" shipping amount. It's very deceiving and a little unethical to promote yourself as a USPS vendor but up the prices so high people don't want to ship with you!! Very disappointed read more

Why a two star rating? One star ratings are reserved for businesses who I never intend to go back to. An additional star is given if I would go to the business if it was the last resort. So I already came in here knowing things are going to be more expensive than a regular post office because this isn't a regular post office and they don't have post office supplies. Well I'm in the military family so i send a lot of Priority Mail which are packages that the post office provides and there's no weight limit and a flat rate. Well I go in for 2 deliveries, one of which I already have a Priority box all ready to go. I just needed a Priority envelope. I asked if they would send out the Priority box and dude said ya. Well they didn't have the Priority envelope so I figured I would just spend a few more bucks on the envelope delivery and put all the items in the envelope to ship out. Well then he rings me up for the box and tells me it will be a little more because they don't ship it at the flat rate. He then tells me that I could FedEx it and might be cheaper. I chose Priority Mail for a reason. Don't tell me you can but NOT at the flat rate price and only AFTER I put my items in the envelope that has now been used. So I tell him I'll just wait until Monday when the post office opens and charges me for the envolope that I no longer need. So ya...I guess you can say they do their jobs but I would go elsewhere if you have other options read more

I went into the Postal Annex today to mail a large manila envelope weighing under one pound. I was told that standard postage not including tracking or insurance would be $11.97. I told them that had to be a mistake as there was no way that postage could be that much. I was told that I did not have to mail it with them so I didn't. I went directly to United States Post Office and my standard postage did include tracking and insurance for only $6.00. I can only wonder how many other people/ residents of Menifee that they are ripping off with their inflated postage rates????? read more

Went there this morning to buy a small box to ship a cell phone to a relative. The box was $2.35 plus tax. I don't carry cash. Went to use my ATM card from my local credit union.
