I rarely ever give reviews because I feel like people are too harsh, but this place was awful. Waited in line to have a notary done and drop off five and she wouldn't do the notary because there's other people in line. The person in front of me took longer than a notary behind me took longer than notary I went next-door ate lunch came back. There was two people waited in line. There was no one behind person was doing fingerprinting for somebody else and the second person wouldn't do a notary in case someone else came in. I don't know if you're familiar with how long a notary takes but it's 2 to 3 minutes if you're decent speed five minutes if you're a slow notary. read more

I've used this Postal Annex many times to return items, by using one of the big three (USPS, UPS and FedEx). That's the major benefit of using PostalAnnex+, the ability to drop things off for return, or instead choosing the least expensive of the three to ship something. The location in near Pizza Hut, 99 Cent Only store, the Mobil Gas Station... so it can be a busy corner of this strip mall. The employees seem to sense that and go out of their way to be helpful and... speedy. read more

Found out yesterday that the "Postal Annex" is not an actual annex to the United States Post Office. They were charging over $20 for Media Mail that the actual post office charges under $6. Incredible surcharge for their "convenience service. UPS Ground was cheaper than their Media Mail. What a burn! read more

I was returning a work laptop using a prepaid labor and FedEx box. I went in this store and waited for 15 minutes. As soon as I was next in line, the attendant asked if I was dropping off and if I needed a receipt. She recommended that I use the kiosk. I denied since this was work equipment. She indicated that the kiosk was my only option since they were not going to scan my package and/or give me a receipt at the counter. I left upset and went to the other local store where they obliged with my request. This store has bad customer service! read more

Came here with very sensitive paper work that needed to be fax. The employee faxed it to the wrong number and I only caught it because I verified the the receipt. Now who knows who has my personal information. I suggest you go somewhere professional to fax important documentation. read more

If you need to send something by overnight do not use this business, you are better off going to the Menifee Post office. I was pressed for time so I went there as it is close to my house but boy am I extremely sorry I did. To send an envelope (not package) via FedEx through them cost me $113 and if I wanted proof of signature it would have been an additional $15. I left there feeling violated. I understand they are in business to make money but that is robbery in my opinion. Today I had to send some other papers to the same place in Saint Louis, and went to the post office instead. Cost me $28 and it included proof of signature. So unless you want to be ripped off, go somewhere else. read more

The ladies here were so helpful. I walked in with 5 suit jackets still on their hangers and they helped me fit them into the right size box that was cost effective. I don't usually write reviews, but this is the second time that I have used this Postal Annex within three months, and both times was blown away by their service. During both visits I had large packages to ship, and John and Erin were both working and went the extra mile to find the best option for me. Today, when I realized that the package I was going to ship was going to cost WAY too much money (because of the dimensions and weight) they took the time to troubleshoot my options, and even helped me open up my box, rearrange the contents, and cut the box down to a smaller size to save me money! Seriously, this type of service is unheard of this day and age. They are both amazing people. If you need to ship packages for Christmas, I would come here for sure. read more

Majorly disappointed with this Postal Annex....the staff is very nice, but the owner/manager is awful. We have had a PO Box there for many many years, during the pandemic while under stay at home orders our box became due, I was unaware as I hadnt been there to check due to Covid, we are a non profit youth sports organization, who was also shut down due to covid, hence why checking the mail wasnt a priority. needless to say, I do go in to check the mail only to find out they have closed our box, returned the mail and rented it to someone else! I asked why they didnt call, they stated they had tried, but got no response. I am a realtor, I ALWAYS answer my phone! I went in today to drop some packages off, and the manager/owner was there, I asked him why he gave our box up..he said you hadnt paid, I said nobody called me, he said they tried, they have all my info including my home address, maybe send a notice? Maybe walk next door to the Mexican restaurant and see our sign in the window, with a phone number, he said we are not going to google and chase you down, then said "covid affected everyone" EXACTLY including me!! Needless to say it was unprofessional of him, no apology, no how can I make it better...NOTHING! I will be taking my business elsewhere, maybe to a company that has autopay! read more

I didn't want to leave this review, but ultimately I am the one that got the raw deal. We dropped off an envelope, and got the drop off receipt, thankfully. Called a week later when the package hadn't been delivered to LA yet, spoke to Isabella. She was friendly and professional and said she would get in touch with FedEx and find out what happened. I called back a couple days later and she said PostalAnnex doesn't have it and FedEx has no idea where it is. When I called fedex to do an internal trace they said "the package was never given into our possession" because it never showed getting picked up. FedEx drivers scan their package pickups before they even leave the store. Who would you believe? Here's my guess on what happened. It was small 6x10 envelope and I'm guessing someone at PostalAnnex lost it, stole it or knocked it accidentally into the trash before they gave it to the FedEx driver. Luckily it was just a $30 USB flash drive and not something terribly important, although what was on it was inconvenient to lose. Of course they swore no way could a package get lost. After receiving the wrong item from a online retailer I went here to return it not having a box or even the labels cut out. The staff was friendly and literally took care of everything short of printing out the rma label. Prices are reasonable and they deal with Usps and others. Also a fun side fact is that they have soft drinks, bday cards, and other interesting items to see. Not a bad place to do business...I'll be back! read more

I came in today to send some things down to help with the floods in Texas they were so kind to split the costs of shipping with me. In the past I've had to send things to Canada and elsewhere. They have shown me how to save sometimes $20 in shipping just by packaging it in ways that fit the postal systems norms. I'm very appreciative for showing me how to package things to avoid excessive shipping charges. They also recognize me and if I have any packages they will often have them ready for me before I even have pulled out the receipts from my box. I can literally start filling my gas tank, walk over and get my mail and any packages, and return to the car before the gas pump has finished filling my tank. Great service! read more

The customer service was good, HOWEVER, do NOT let them take over for you because they will NOT disclose pricing until it is too late. Sneaky!!!!!! Anyways, the employee 'Sally' was helpful and neglectful at the same time. She told me she can take care of my packages while I was preoccupied with something else. Little did I know it would cost $13.39 FOR A BOX! That's right ppl. Bring you own box!!! Peanuts for the box are $10 bucks!!!! Bring your own peanuts! Basically, have your package ready to go before you even decide to set foot in the store. They'll price gouge you. Naturally she apologized for sealing the packages BEFORE telling me the prices.
