After hearing my explanation, she understood that they declined payment to me was due to some miscommunication by the staff -- they thought I was ordered for the specific dialect and was not able to perform my job, thus declined payment nor did not charge the client--Lisa agreed to pay me after my explanation of the incident and told me the staff need to be trained to understand the different needs of various dialects, i.e. Chinese is not only a single dialect which can be understood throughout -- and offered to pay me; however, since they have waited so long for not billing the client, they won't be able to bill them anymore, so I agreed to accept 50% of the payment as my contribution to the company's intent to contribute to the community for good causes, and, being women of faith, we settled out of court on this matter.
