As we walked in, my husband noticed the clear plastic barrier around the checkout counter and casually asked if it was a COVID barrier. Instead of simply answering the question, the woman behind the counter immediately responded that it was "the stupidest thing she's ever heard anyone say." At first, we honestly thought she was joking because the response was so unexpected. It quickly became clear that she was being completely serious. We were taken aback by how rude and dismissive she was over a simple question. Customer service makes a huge difference, especially in a small local business. We chose to leave without purchasing anything and took our business elsewhere. Hopefully future visitors are treated with more courtesy and respect.

The Station Joshua Tree is a funky store in Palm Springs, after 29 Palms, with quirky merchandise and nostalgic collectibles. The one thing that I wanted to get and miss are those colorful charms with the necklace, $125.00 for the entire set, those were one of my favorites to collect during the 80s. That is so vintage! The friendship bracelet was another memories, I remember making those. All in all, what a surprise, such a fun store to take it all in and we had so much fun taking photos, great photo opt in front of the statue, use the selfie stand, we did so many different selfie photos. The owner was completely nice and gave my son a little toy for free. I thought it was so kind of him to do so. Don't forget to take a picture with the tall statue of the tall cowboy holding up the Joshua Tree sign. Excellent spot for great pictures for memory.
