I came here to mail three handmade cards that I made. I usually put a non-machinable stamp on my cards because I included a chipboard with the card to protect it from being damaged in the mailing machines. I spend a lot of time on my cards so I want them to arrive intact. Unfortunately, I forgot to put my stamps on the envelopes so I figured I'd just purchase the three stamps here. NEVER in my wildest dreams did I think I'd have to pay THREE TIMES the value of the stamps that I purchased at the USPS office. The non-machinable stamps at the USPS is $1.31 each. I was charged $3.20 here are the Hemet Postal Annex+ 3037 I guess you can say I learned my lesson. I will NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING from this place. I can understand that they are a third party facility, but it seems that as far as shipping fees go, you can actually charge any amount as long as you have someone who will pay. Maybe if the USPS was charging what the third party companies are charging, they wouldn't be going out of business. read more

NICE NEW STAFF! I remember when this place was ran by not-so-friendly "Karens", therefore I was happy to walk-in and be greeted by friendly new employees! The girls working the desk were very helpful and packaged my Mom's items quickly. Also, the staff never made us wait unnecessarily. The store is pretty neat and orderly. Boxes are clearly displayed in the back and there's quite a few gifts, cards, and items for those interested in shipping cool little memorabilia. I also found plenty of office items and possible decorations. PostalAnnex+ also has a small P.O. Box section, it's smaller than a UPS P.O Box station but it's still helpful and convenient. My only gripe for this place is that shipping a few small art items like crayons and a small toy (all in a super small box) cost over $30. It's kind of insane how much shipping costs now. Before Christmas I went in to return an item that turned out to have a FedEx label on it. Clearly, I did not need the requested service even though I'd stood in line. Rather than making me feel stupid, the clerk kindly explained it to me (like you wish someone would treat your most dear loved one) and even though I got my mistake immediately, I was super grateful that she was so kind. Regarding hostility & mansplaining: A young guy was making a loud public scene, and the whole team of women working there handled it so professionally and respectfully, I could not have been more impressed. It made me happy to "have their back" if they needed it. Post Office boxes are a good value here and I'll probably get one when I find time. Way to go, ladies! read more

I was at the facility on April the 5th approximately 12pm, And met Kimberly. She was the technician for for fingerprinting. She was an outstanding employee. We had several issues trying to get my prints to appear. She tried very hard and every way possible to try to make that work. We were able to get a few green Approved for finger print, but she did not give up and, I was super impressed with her professionalism friendliness enjoying her job. I bought a postage stamp and a gift card. The card was only $3.25. I paid for the stamp and card, and when I got home I looked at my receipt and the regular postage stamp cost me 90 cents!!! I called them and they confirmed the cost for a stamp is 90 cents! I was floored! I asked the clerk to double check the price and sure enough, that's what they charge. Its theoretically a service related charge, like a convenience fee, but in reality it's simply price gouging. I'll continue going there because they sell a large variety of cute jewelery, as well as all sorts of pens, paper, note pads, etc. and full service as far as certified letters and more. read more

Everytime I walk in there always doing nothing but gossiping and talk to other folks that are just visiting instead of paying attention to the costumers.. they don't say hello nor greet you to feel welcome. I absolutely love going here to pick up my packages and mail. Gracie is amazing! She see's me coming and has my stuff all ready for me. That puts such a big smile on my face to be treated like that. She helped me pull up the county website and make an appointment saving me 12 weeks of waiting for it in the mail. They take pictures for passports here!! And that's all I needed. 5 minutes and less than 12 bucks later, I was out the door with my mug shot for my passport. It looked awful, to no fault of the Postal Annex photographer though! Some people just aren't meant to take pictures without smiling; I am one. Lost my package...they won't help find it. Say it's not their problem. Have Postal Annex receipt from drop-off to them but that means nothing. Hope you have better luck if you try them. I would take the time and drive to another location if you want your package to get delivered. UPDATE: Postal Annex takes no responsibility for lost packages regardless of having a receipt. FedEx and UPS cannot do anything if they do not scan it...Postal Annex scanning DOES NOT count for UPS or FedEx. They are always friendly here, they have everything I need to ship and they have cool little trinkets too. The manager here is really nice. I can go to the postal office (yeah right), UPS store or Fed Ex anytime but I always come here because of the service. And their prices are great too. Can't go wrong. We have been at this facility several times. They are always very helpful and work very hard to meet our needs. Today in particular they were even more helpful. We had to renew out passports. They helped us with every step. Double checking our applications to be sure they were compete and then finishing the process for us attaching the photos, guiding us through the fees requirement and putting it all in an envelope for us. The young lady basically was our advisor through the whole process. The cost was only the cost of photos and postage. They did all of that guiding only to be sure we had all of our ducks in a row for the renewal application. I just know every time I go here I am going to have a good customer service experience. read more
