I would give 0 stars if I could. This is why: 1. After paying the rolling fee which was definitely over $70 for a live scan a little over a month ago I found out it was never processed. I called them to see what happened, but it turns out their number is a personal number? The person who answered was a man who said he was driving his kids to school and couldn't talk, but to check the DOJ website-- very unprofessional. 2. After following his advice by checking the DOJ website, it prompted me to check with the agency that requested the background check (Postal Annex). I called back and he simply said "you have to help yourself." and hung up. Both times he was very defensive as if I was accusing him of something-- very sketchy. EDIT: So the owner was quick to respond to this review, but can't help me or at least respond in a professional manner on the phone. Instead he chose to lie and gaslight me in his reply to my review. I called them four times trying to reconcile the issue-- attached are pictures to prove it (the longest call being 1 minute because he was quick to dismiss my concerns and to hang up on me). So I will not be called a liar by someone who likes playing victim and villain at the same time. I will be reporting this establishment to the Better Business Bureau and to the IRS for fraud and scam. Do not go here. read more

Just left this place after such a rude encounter with the owner. I had two boxes to drop off for FedEx. The label was prepaid by eBay but he still charged me 5.00 for label. When I asked why he said it was his printer and then proceeded to tell me to stop selling on eBay if I don't want to pay. Even though I paid the 5.00 fee I didn't trust he would send my packages based on his rudeness. If you need to utilize a postal annex please go to the one on Ynez NOT Winchester. DO NOT GO HERE. they failed to give my package to USPS. the owner is sam and he had his child struggling to figure out his computer system, failing to help him. i dropped off a package i needed to have shipped out last thursday evening. i was quoted tuesday delivery. today is now the following thursday and USPS has yet to receive my package. i spoke to them, they said to contact whoever shipped it so i called the store stating i had a missing package. immediately sam starts jumping down my throat basically saying not his problem. i don't know if something was inputted incorrectly and that's why its lost or if he stole it but either way, my package is missing and he could give a shit to help out. quite literally the worst customer service i've ever received i wish i waited for my normal postal annex to be open the following business day as they clearly are not all ran the same. hope you have the day you deserve sam!!! read more

I'm from out of town and needed to mail a few things and pick up some stamps. I wish I had driven the extra two miles to the Post Office. I was having a pleasant experience with the owner's wife before he abruptly took over the transaction. First, he was rude and chauvinistic towards his wife, and second, he didn't fully understand the transaction. As I began to repeat what I needed, he dismissed me with a curt "Yeah, yeah, I got it," and then provided incorrect information about the postage. When I confronted him, he became verbally abusive and, unfortunately, was also dishonest about the situation. To make matters worse, when I asked for assistance with a simple inquiry about their services, I was met with hostility instead of the professionalism one would expect from a business. This incident not only left me deeply disappointed but also concerned about the treatment of customers. Just drive to the Post Office! read more

Luckily, I stumbled upon this place and called to see if they could do a live scan for me. Are used to come here often. Prices are average but people were polite. However, as of late the customer service has been terrible. This location does not open on time and it is quite frustrating. I have called multiple times and been told that it's because of their U-Haul business in the back, but if that is the case then hire enough people to cover the front desk and the back at the same time. I Purchased something the other day and I felt like the price was just made up. The gentleman was talking on the phone completely ignoring me. I was seen waiting for service and the gentleman just walked away on the phone without acknowledgment. I was then "helped" and given the wrong change. Again just walked away not even saying thank you or any other acknowledgment. I just left. I will not be coming back to this location ever again. read more

Honest owner, I dropped my spare phone while I was renting one of the u-hauls from them kept searching for it for weeks and finally decided to call them and find out they kept it until they find the owner,very happy there is still people like him in this world. I took 2 separate shirts in to be mailed to 2 diff addresses on the 7th. I was told they would arrive by the 13th despite overpaying, $25 for 2 t shirts? Well today is the 15th and still no packages. We did a search, they weren't even sent out until the 11th, they sat there for 4 days! Both packages are LOST somewhere in Mo. Re routed because of idk. I rarely post reviews unless the service was amazing or terrible. The service I received at this location is AMAZING. The couple that runs this shop immediately made me feel like family walking in. I have been here before and loved the service I got so decided to use them once more. Mind you, I live 30 minutes away and have locations a block away from my house but the service, the care, the professionalism, and the hospitality is something you can't beat.
