BUYER BEWARE!!! I should have read prior Yelps, because I wasn't sure if my experience was an honest mistake or deliberate. Now I clearly see that it was deliberate. I sent an email PDF attachment, while in their store, to print today, and it didn't go through. So I tried to resend the entire email with the attachment, and it also did not go through. Thania suggested I go outside because their "network isn't great" and allegedly the only way to print was this odd system of going via email. Long story short, I drove home, parked in my driveway, and both items were "sent." Went back to store, asked for the 2-pg PDF print, and so far so good. Then I asked, "How much extra is it to print the one page email?" Thania DID NOT REPLY BUT SENT IT TO THE PRINTER. I got charged 75 cents for the three copies, and "Computer use per hour $2.99" So with tax, it was $3.81 for what should have been 50 cents, without my explicit agreement to print the actual email. I feel so scammed. Its not the money...its the PRINCIPAL...after I paid, I said, "I don't feel like I should be charged for the email because I only asked how much it was; I did not agree to it." Thania and her co worker, who were talking about someone's pregnancy, and babies, said, "Well -- we printed it." So, their attitude is definitely BUYER BEWARE. Eek! I tried to call and speak to the manager Denise Forest, and was told "They aren't in, don't know when they will be, you need to send an email." I can see from the replies to the MANY other 1-star Yelps that I'm not going to get any refund, empathy, or customer service; I'm going to be told again that they conducted the service, so I owe. Honestly, that's just a crappy approach to business and customers. Another painful and expensive lesson learned! If you are smart, steer clear of this place! (I'm also calling Corporate, but since this is locally owned, I'm guessing they won't care.) SMH. EEK. ****GREAT ALTERNATIVE: GO TO THE MURRIETA PUBLIC LIBRARY! **** They only charge $.15 for black-and-white copies, and $.65 for color. You can send an email from home to do it, or use the wireless icon on their website FOR ABSOLUTELY NO EXTRA CHARGE!!! So for me, that would have been 45 cents vs the $3.81 they sadly felt they had to rip me off for. (I get it, they are a business...but come on, no ambushing after the fact. Just advise up front! I don't recommend renting a mailbox from here. They do not prioritize sorting the mail so it is impossible for a business to get the mail in a timely manner each day. If you make a special trip to check the mail, they do not care, will not look to see if you have mail and expect you to come back another time that is more convenient for them. Save yourself the run around and go to a different location. Went here twice: the first time they said they don't print labels and referred me to the library, then we went back with the label printed and they said we had to ship the items separately and pay for three different boxes. We drove 5 minutes to a different location and had the transaction handled and the package (all in one box) paid for and on its way in under 10 minutes. read more

I love this UPS store. Other than it's local to Copper Canyon, they are always staffed appropriately at surge times, service is quick and the staff always is a pleasure. Huge bonus points -- the staff doesn't judge you on your ridiculous amount of Amazon returns. I hate writing bad reviews, because I'm a small business owner, too. With that said, I have to call out a rip-off when I've been ripped off. I rented a mailbox for several years. I paid a $25 deposit for the key to the mailbox and front door. When I closed the mailbox, I returned the keys. I asked for a return of the deposit, and was told they do not return deposits. Excuse me? That's a bit illegal! As a result, I try to avoid this place as much as possible by going to other UPS stores. Sometimes, it's a necessity as they are the closest place to return anything from Amazon. Recently, I did just that and was charged $1 for them to tape shut the box! $1 for maybe 16" of packing tape! I've been getting my mail at this UPS store for almost 19 years. I've seen it change ownership, management and more employees than I'd like (I only say that because I was sad to see some of them move on). The employees are what make this store great. They are always pleasant, professional and conscientious. I've seen them do their best through the Covid disaster, holiday rushes and the awful sewage smell that they are finally rid of. I think Marc has been there the longest now and I feel like I'm visiting a friend, every time I see him, to pop in and get my mail. I actually look forward to going there, which is a very rare occurrence in this day and age where customer service is at an all time low. These guys are doing things right. I visited this facility a couple weeks ago and a female manager was extremely rude. I had my mask hanging off my ear and she yelled for me to get out if I wasn't going to wear a mask. I literally swore off this store. I went there this morning and was told by Mike that masks aren't required if you've been vaccinated. His demeanor was way better than the female earlier. This place is literally across the street from my house. You'd think I'd make time to get over there and pick up a Christmas present for my niece, that required a signature. But nope between home schooling (thanks COVID) and working full time it took me a week to make it by. By the time I made it there I was told by the young man, Tyler, that it had just been loaded on a truck the day before to be returned to the manufacturer. I was super upset; not at him but at myself for not getting there sooner. He gave me a customer service number to call the next day to try and track my package down. I went home practically in tears, not what I was looking forward to. 10 minutes later I get a knock on the door and it's one of their drivers, Mike. He informs me it was his truck that it had been loaded on earlier. He dug through the truck found it, off loaded it, and than drove to my house personally to tell me it was there to pick up. I could have hugged him. I've never had customer service that literally went above and beyond. Kudos to Tyler and Mike for going out of their way to help a customer out!!! read more

I should've read the reviews before I went in. I arrived on a Monday morning before 10 and asked what options I had to absolutely get something overnighted and delivered by 10:30 in Ohio the following day. Mind you that's 10:30 am and I can definitely understand the $46.58 charge. I mentioned this was notarized retirement paperwork as like so many others due to the Covid epidemic require extra money at this time. Well I gave in a paid the amount and was told it will be there tomorrow. Now into the future, 10:30 came in went in Ohio and to my dismay in Ca too. When I called UPS they told me I would have to take it up with the UPS store. They did assure me my package would be there the folllowing day. Wait $46 for TWO DAY SERVICE? I didn't pay for two day service, or did I? Checked my receipt. Nope, it was one day, did I mention $46. I called the UPs store and told the gentleman my issue, he told me to hold on and would get someone better suited to assist. To my surprise he returned and said sorry "no guarantees no refunds". He said "we have a sign" I said where? With social distancing and wearing masks I was never told this was a 50/50 chance it would arrive. I was told this was the service I needed. I am so disappointed with UPS and the service in our community during these times. In closing, now I have to pay another notary and go to a FedEx office and pay for shipping all over again. This is really a shame. Enjoy my ... well let's round up $50 for giving a now moot letter a free flight to Ohio. MY REPLY TO HIS MADE UP REPLY. CONSUMERS YOU BE THE JUDGE FOR YOURSELF. My experience from start to finish was above and beyond my expectations thanks to Giselle and her wonderful customer service! I called in prior to my visit to confirm I would be able to print an individual label to ship an item back and she confirmed that would be no problem. Upon arrival I was greeted and assisted immediately and was in and out in under 5 minutes. I anticipated having to pack up the item and get it ready for shipping but she took care of everything! I will never ever use this facility for shipping again. I went into their store (which I have used dozens of times in the past) to ship a package containing my mother's medication overnight on a Thursday morning. It was guaranteed to be delivered by Friday morning at 10:30am (which I paid extra for). Needless to say it never arrived. After countless phone calls (because this was medication that mother needed to take) we were told by UPS that the girl who processed our shipment didn't do so until after 5:00 that night (even though it was dropped off at 9:38am). So basically I paid $58 for a rush shipment to get my mother her medication for nothing. She won't get her package until Monday afternoon now. This is totally and completely unacceptable. Yesterday I needed to go to the UPS store to return for large boxes back to Amazon. Amazon only gave me one label and I needed to call Amazon in order to get multiple labels so I could mail the boxes back for a return. I was on hold forever and I was so frustrated. But Averie was there and took control! She thought outside of the box and was able to come up with a solution. All we needed to do was tape the four large boxes together and use the supplied label. The manager, Ismael, was extremely helpful today and helped me with a situation. Without his help my customer's package would have been returned to the sender in Illinois and instead he kept me in the loop and contacted the UPS hub so that the package was not returned and instead will be able to be picked up at the UPS hub.
