Although there are usually only two employees assisting customers at the front counter, the location is excellent around office buildings and works great especially during morning traffic working hour commute off Montague Expressway and Trimble. I never had any problems rolling into the huge spacious parking lot. Setup is much better than US Post Office off Hostetter Rd and Lundy. Stress free parking options. Staffs are very focused on serving working class folks and businesses. Well trained and experienced. Customers are usually professionals and working class people in the neighborhood. No drama or loud noise. Interior is very clean and simple. The building is old, but the upkeep inside is pretty darn good for post office locations. Convenient and good. It's always a peaceful experience when I come here to drop off boxes/mail during morning hours. Getting in and out was very easy. Good value service for just being a local post office in the area. I will always consider this location over all other locations around here.

The appointment was made and the instructions stated that we would need to arrive 10-15 minutes early and needed to have all of the proper documentations readily on hand. I left work early and gave myself time to navigate here while toting my 2 year old. What I was met with was a very short employee who directed me to stand off to the side while he helped outer patrons. The wait was long especially if you are factoring in an extremely antsy child who can't seem to stay still for too long. I was eventually helped by Ja. While she was pleasant, appointment times aren't exactly followed.

The process ended up taking longer than expected--we went through three application booklets due to using a blue pen, making a mistake, and not completing part of the form correctly. Harry was the gentleman who assisted us, and he was incredibly patient throughout the entire process. He took the time to guide us through each correction and made sure everything was completed properly before we left. We never felt rushed or like we were inconveniencing him. Thank you Harry and staff. There was a line. They were open to 6:00 pm. The website said 3:00 for walk-ins. I stormed in there as if I was late for my appointment. lol So glad we took care of this before our big travel.

Passport Acceptance Clerk Avella P. identified two missing items: an email address and our baby's height. At about 1:02 PM, just two minutes into our 15-minute slot, she stated that making the corrections in the room would delay other appointments. She circled the missing items but did not explain that a new form was required or what our baby's photo needed. With 13 minutes left in our slot, the missing items were minor. If a new form was required, that should have been clearly explained, along with what would happen to our appointment. We were asked to leave the room while she served the next customer. When I politely asked whether we would be moved to the back of the line, she replied, "I don't know. My supervisor will speak to you." After we raised the issue with the supervisor on duty, a staff member named PRAWANDEEP (spelling may vary) assisted us at about 1:24 PM. We appreciate the help he provided. Newborns are especially vulnerable to illness, and we scheduled an appointment specifically to limit our son's time in public. Instead, we waited about 22 extra minutes near the counters in a crowded area, including people who were coughing, with no information on whether or when we would be seen. I understand applications must be complete, and my complaint is not about the procedure itself. It is about the clerk's customer service. Her manner throughout the interaction was dismissive. She gave us no clear guidance on how to fix our application and left us without any update on our appointment. We had to approach her ourselves, only to be told she did not know. While we were waiting, I also overheard her say, "And they expect this to be nice," after another customer who had asked her several questions left the counter. I went to the packaging table by the door to fix it, but another customer was already using the right side, so I went to the left instead. Unfortunately, the woman on the left was extremely rude for no reason. She started yelling at me and was rough with my package while I was trying to get it ready to ship. I explained that my phone was taking a minute to load the QR code, but she kept insisting that I show it to her and continued raising her voice. There was no line either. When you need help in person, there is hardly ever anyone at the front to help. And Heaven help you if you try to call this post office for anything. 99% of the time, no one answers. Mail may or may not come, & we often have things say they will be delivered but then it doesn't arrive for days. She was very friendly while we were getting our photos taken for our passports which we just got the paperwork finished. BTW, something I want to emphasise that Mari does that I have not seen at other locations is that Mari verifies the e-mail that the customer writes down to ensure photos are sent to the correct address so there is no confusion. We recommend going to this store as I personally believe she should be teaching customer service classes to other branches. I wanted to add my visits at other UPS branches were not pleasant and this branch in particular has always done a good job with efficiency, professionalism, and courtesy, especially with some of the inpatient tech workers in the local area lol.
