Even though it was a busy day, the three postal workers were very helpful and keep the line moving pretty quickly. I like my post office because I'm still old school and like to mail letters to my pen pals. I know it's old fashioned, but it's fun to have actual mail instead of a bill now and again. The stamps are getting a little high, but they have fun designs and even a circular option. So I'll keep sending mail until it gets to a 1.00 a letter, then I'll probably join the digital world. I always come to this post office. It's quick and easy, no hassle. I have never been in a line. I'm always next regardless of what time of day or what day of the week it is. The workers are all pleasant and the atmosphere is welcoming. The only thing I would like to see one day is a guest bathroom, that would be nice. I bought a bubble envelope to mail something with ups here for only $3. At UPS the same envelope is like 10 times the price. Great thing about this location is you can stop here and then go down the block to get a car wash or even vacuum your car for free and then go to QT or circle K and get gas or a snack. I will continue to come to this location even though I have moved to over 15 minutes away from here and have a different office near me. This is my office! Went down to ask why my mail arrives at 730 at night and the manger was straight up RUDE telling me it only happens once in a while my ring camera says diffrent I understand it happens once in a while but Manger refused to let me make a complaint and said he didn't think that it was happening really you are a government worker I will find a place to make a complaint , this carrier is not the smartest I just want my mail!!!! Since my last unpleasant incidents I haven't gone back this post office for a while . Today I went in to find the package I missed . I was afraid I may get yelled at or treated badly so I go in ready . Surprisingly, things have change . 3 guys , a Caucasian , Asian and a Hispanic I think . All greet customers " Sorry for the wait " , thank you , are you being help ? I was like wow what happening here LOL . He couldn't find my package and said it was on the truck delivering to me . There is a manager or someone watching over behind make sure things are going nicely . I was ask twice if someone helping me . That's the way it supposed to be . Nobody want to walk in to an unpleasant rude post office right ? We just want to mail stuffs and go home . If we make a mistake correct us or help us . No need to be rude . We pay your salary . This is probably my favorite location. Minus the fact it is outdated & desperately needs some upgrades. But when it comes down to it- I have never had SUCH outstanding customer service than I encountered here! I had a package to ship out- and a QC code to scan & print the label at a kiosk. The problem: this location is behind the times & a kiosk does not exist. So, I was dreading having to stand in line- but there was NO line! Right after noon on a Tuesday. Wow! I believe it was Brad, at the counter? I hope I remember the name correctly, but he was FANTASTIC!!! He was able to scan the QC code off my phone to print me a label there at the desk- and also advised me I was going to pay more for a flat rate. Suggested I purchase one of the $1.90 envelopes (which the goods would fit without being compromised) and saved me a little chunk! Not only was this employee kind enough to suggest a cheaper route for my mailing, but generously let me borrow his scissors to unpack my box & transfer it to the envelope. Had a label promptly printed & it all took less than 10 minutes! Fast forward 30 minutes- I ended up having another package to ship by the time I got home from the first errand there. Came back to repeat the process... still no line & Brad was amusingly waiting to assist once again! I'm sure it would maybe be a different story if it were during more popular hours or dates, but there wasn't a whole lot of traffic at this location & 3 employees at the counter waiting to help. I got two packages shipped out in less than 10 minutes on both visits that day. Saved a bit thanks to the advice. And also learned that the employees at this location are also frustrated with not having a kiosk. So be advised you'll have to wait for help by an employee at the desk. There is no way to print your own labels here unless you have them scan a QC with their wand behind the desk. But, the customer service makes up for it, so does the minimal wait! I'm pretty grateful this one is just 1/2 mile away. read more

I recently moved from Florida and had some issues with packages not delivering due to me not updating the vacancy status of my new apartment. I went into this office to ask for assistance in finding the packages that were being sent back due to this issue. I had help from an employee (I wish I had taken down her name, but to describe her I believe she wore glasses). She was extremely kind and helpful and even found one of my packages. When i opeaned my mail box there was a overside box shoved inside. It was absolutely clear that this Box could not fit in the space that they shoved in period. I tried for over 5 minutes to remove this Box but I just could not get out. I ended up having to rip the Box piece by piece to break it down to get it out of my small mailbox. In the process of all this the package inside the box ripped. It was coffie grounds frm wisconsin that was going to be a gift. I guess not any more. 6 in line and a ununiformed person came from a door marked "No Exit". Ask each of us if we had a drop or pick up. I said I had a return and wanted a recipe. He said I would have to wait for the counter. At the counter, a person told me in a not nice way that unless I was paying for return postage no receipt. A waste of time; good example of one hand did not know what the other was doing. Today we have the same problem but in quantum not just for post office workers. Going postal can occur anywhere, sometimes at random, and with far greater devastation. And, why are assault weapons and bullets so ready available to these fragile, whacked out people. Who is supposed to step up and take responsibility? Gotta love 'em, oh... wait... This was not the greatest USPS I've ever frequented but I really didn't have much of a choice. A good friend of mine recently moved to another country and I came to this USPS to send her a care package. My experience was mediocre - mainly due to the guy at the counter who really didn't know how to help me. Have you ever heard of Saipan? Yea, me either, but my friend moved there and I was determined to send her some love. The USPS employee hadn't heard of Saipan either but it technically *IS* a U.S. territory with a U.S. zip code. After waiting in line for 10 minutes (slow service due to only two employees working that afternoon) I get to the counter and give the guy my friend's address and ask for his help. I didn't know the process to mail a box to Saipan - that's precisely why I went to the post office! The experts were supposed to help! Apparently he is not an expert... Anyway, he tells me the wrong information and sent me to an empty counter to fill out customs forms. The other employee working overheard my discussion with the guy at the counter and realized the information he gave me was incorrect. She corrected his mistake and gave me the right forms to fill out. I got back in line (another 7 minutes) and thankfully made it to the woman's counter. She knew what she was doing and helped me with my shipment. $25 to send a large box to Saipan, with delivery in under a week! I am grateful that 50% of the employees working that afternoon knew what they were doing. I am frustrated by the lack of competence on the man's part, although I should probably be more patient given that Saipan is a tiny, unheard of island in the middle of nowhere. -2 stars for wrong information +3 for affordable pricing with tracking info and a reasonable delivery timeframe USPS... So tired of the complainers. I go to this post office whenever I need to mail packages for my busy Etsy shop (usually daily sept to may) because these guys are the most helpful. They have saved me $ by suggesting other packaging, located a list client package (stolen from her porch), assisted me when a package kept getting returned and even figured out the goofy Australia postal limitations! If you come to any post office without your shit together then you should expect a few eye rolls. Box up your shit, write the appropriate return and sending address, and be ready when you get to the window! USPS is NOT responsible for taping up your box or addressing it for you! (Eye roll here). If you want someone to do it all for you go to ups but you will pay a LOT more there. It's called the 'postal service' because it is funded by tax dollars. If you want to use this service have your shit together before you come. read more

This has been my "go to" post office since I moved into my current apartment a few years ago. Plenty of parking, a separate drive with 2 blue mail drop boxes, and a lobby full of post office boxes. You have access 24 hours a day to the PO boxes, which is convenient There's a second lobby behind glass doors, and that's the actually where the post office workers work, and where you would get your counter service for mailing stuff, stamps, etc. The staff here isn't so bad, but its the post office, so don't expect to much. There's a lady that usually waits on me, and she's rather nice. I think there's also a gentleman who works on the counter, and he's a bit more gruff, but gets you what you need. Back in 2011, my mailbox was broken, and it took my apartment complex 6 months to fix. Every Saturday morning I came in here to get my mail from the counter staff, and overall, it was okay. Some days were good, other days were not. The later you go in on a Saturday, the longer the line. Your better off getting there first thing to avoid the crowds. Most likely, your going to have some kind of wait. Staff was friendly and decent most of the time, and the wait varied depending on a number of factors. Some Saturdays I was the only one in line, others, the line felt like it was a mile long. 98% of the time, there's only been 2 counter staff working. Its the govt...and the post office did layoffs, so thats most likely why its a line some times. Overall, I'm reasonably satisfied with my experiences here. I still use the drop boxes outside often and frequently to mail stuff out, and its great to live close to a place like this. As annoying as the post office is at times, I like being able to save a day on mailing and take my stuff right here. read more

Do NOT use collection box in front of Goodwill at 1225 W. Guadalupe Road, Mesa, AZ. Mail gets to destination, whether local or out of state about TWO MONTHS later. Assuming they do not pick up daily or even weekly. Have called Mesa main post office every day for a week--they do not answer the phone. Have had to pay several bills TWICE this year and last year....hoping I get credit when first payment is received. Have pinpointed this as the problem collection box as all bills with VERY DELAYED receipt were placed in this box for sure. read more

My mail Carrier has been totally awesome to me (temp) and my extended family (dog) . She's always quick with a dog treat and I think she has multiple assists . Smiles always , takes care to let the dogs get to know her and is helpful with any question I could ask . I'm not sure her length of time on this route but I hope she's here until I pull out . The office is staffed with interesting characters . There's one person In Particular that has little interest if you show up anytime soon . I had to make three trips in to pick up my package . I had just missed getting it at home . We had a temp delivery guy that day. Told me I could go and get it as soon as I had come out to check . Get there and this lady acts like I'm stupid , tells me to come back later same day . When I got there she acted like she never said anything? In lieu of a poor post office experience yesterday with a different location, I felt compelled to write a review about this one. I come here frequently to ship things out for work. Most times, I wait in a long line that moves at a mediocre pace, and deal with grumpy employees who - for the most part - treat me like my Asian mother did when she finally realized I was bad at math. That being said, there's a few newer employees who are quite delightful, and I've never really had too much trouble mailing anything from here. It's an inconvenience that they won't give you any packing tape unless you're mailing priority (so bring your own), but I'm pretty used to what their rules are now. The mail carriers from this location are complete jerks. I've moved to different houses many times in different states and have never had such a horrible experience with my mail carrier. I recently moved, and my mail carrier stopped delivering my mail to my house because my name wasn't in the mailbox. I filled out all the paperwork necessary in order to have no problems with my mail delivery, and this still happened. I was on hold with the USPS customer care line for TWO HOURS to make sure my mail would be redelivered. Next day arrives, the mail carrier threatened not to deliver my mail if my name wasn't in my stupid mailbox. The people who work the cash registers at this location are very rude as well. They bark orders at you when you're in line and belittle you. Moral of the story, it must suck to be a mailman if they feel the need to do this to their customers. read more

I wouldn't write a negative review on a place unless I have had bad service more than once- which I have. 1st time: I have an eBay account so I print all my postage online through them and I get the flat rate packaging at the post office and mail out. So my first experience there I had my printed out postage and packaged my item up and asked for tape- they said "we do not give out tape" as i am looking at the huge roll of priority tape on his desk i ask " i'm shipping this priority and i need tape to put on my label" he rudely let me know that it doesn't matter i have to buy my own tape ( $4 from them) or bring my own. I have never had this happen to me at any other USPS store, not sure why it happened now.. I had to leave to go get tape from my own house and the man said nothing, didn't want to help me. Second: Another time, I came in with everything all packaged at home since I was not using a flat rate box and ask the man to give me the cheapest shipping, he gave me the fastest, I quickly corrected him since i didn't want to pay $15 to ship a small box and he let me know that USPS was prob. going to go out of business this year and they need all they can get. I would hate to all the people working to lose their job but HELLO, I'm there using their services, paying money. Don't make me feel guilty for not wanting to pay more than I need because of the failing business. Third: Then today, I go in with MY OWN TAPE to send out a new item and they do not have any of the flat rate envelopes which i would assume are supposed to always be in stock. I asked the woman behind the counter if they had any in the back and she said "nope, haven't gotten them in months" that's it, no alternatives no additional help. This post office is the absolute worst. I've gone in several times and my issue is still not resolved. I did change of address a month before moved. And yet 6 months later they still can't sort the mail properly and the carriers can't seem to catch that it wasn't sorted properly. They continue to deliver old residents mail whose names clearly are not ours and yet they can't deliver mail that has our name on it. I've even spoken to a manager at one point on my THIRD visit because they have had 2 occasions where they have delivered my mail to old address and one birthday card that just mysteriously was never delivered. The employee (clerk 13) who helped me was extremely rude, short and uncourteous. She chastised me like a child because I made a mistake on a customs form. Apparently it was a big inconvenience for her to correct said error I had inadvertently made. She told me that I should ask questions if I'm not sure about something on a form versus just writing in whatever where ever on the form. I was flabbergasted. This was later exacerbated when she saw the error written again on the bubble mailer. She said, "I don't know why you keep writing this down. It does NOT go here." Again, I wasn't aware I was making an error until she pointed it out. I was extremely disappointed in my visit here. I have a UPS store next door to me but I make the extra drive to use your facility on Saturdays because the rates are much lower. I feel as if I would be better off spending more money at UPS to receive standard customer service. People make mistakes but there's no reason for an employee to take our their frustrations on a paying customer who truly made an honest mistake. I highly doubt I'll be using your facilities again. read more

UPS and fedex seem to at least care about your business and treat you like a human. For some reason every time I go here I am talked down to, like I'm stupid. I forgot to tape something, the guy rolls his eyes and hands me some sticky note strength tape and stares at me and then at the line making sure I know that others are waiting. It was either that or pay 5 bucks for an entire role. Today the lady gets after me for accidentally selecting yes instead of no on the credit card machine. Talking down to me like I'm a kid.
