Make sure to read all the fine print before you ship anything large. If a corner of the cardboard box is slightly torn, the laser scanner (not human) will automatically measure the box as over the limit and add on an $876 automatic up charge. No exceptions No discussions. I'll Never use FedEx for my business ever again. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. Second timing trying to ship sensitive materials to our doctor on the east coast. Followed every instruction and detail for packing correctly from the employees themselves and Twice now it's been returned and our package ruined. Total incompetence here. I use a FedEx location somewhere in the state every day to ship environmental samples from Arizona to Florida. This is one of the later collection drop off points for overnight/next day delivery. I appreciate them being there they've always been friendly to me, professional, courteous. read more

If you want someone to be eagerly waiting on you to pick up a package, drop off a package, or do another service... this is not your location. This place is mainly a distribution center, not an independent center. Thus their primary function is to get trucks loaded, not help you box or ship something. However, it can be a good experience... If nobody is in line and you get someone quickly to the desk. I've been here about 4 times. Each time to drop off a prepaid box. One time I was lucky - nobody in line and agent at desk. Perfect. Second and third time nobody at desk. Rang desk bell 4-5 times and then someone came out to receive my package. Not ideal. Fourth time I rolled in and there were 4 people in front of me and there was so many complications with those people. Another agent even came to take care of the people picking packages up and it still took forever. It wasn't all the agents fault as the people in front of me didn't even know their own current address (literally). read more

This place is a joke. It's called "Fed Ex Ship Center" but when I got there to ship out my package the woman told me that they could not put a label on the package. What kind of Fed Ex can't put a label on the package? She tried to tell me that it was a "FedEx Express" ....which it does not say "FedEx Express" anywhere on the building or anywhere online all it says is "Fed Ex Ship Center" Why would you call it a "Fed Ex ship center" if you can't actually ship anything out of this location. This location is a completely no-frills FedEx spot. You can pick up and ship, but not a whole lot else. While that may be a downside for some, the upside is that there is never a wait and the staff are super duper quick. When you have a FedEx package coming to you with a signature required, you can easily divert your package for hold and pickup at this spot (which is really the only reason I ever come here). read more

Fedex SUCKS! I worked for an internet company years ago who shipped fedex. After years of crappy shipping service we switched to UPS. Best choice that company ever made. 9 times out of 10 when I use fedex for personal use, the package doesnt get there on time. And when you use express shipment they will hold the pkg in their sorting facility until the due date (even if it gets to the facility days earlier.) Have I mentioned Fedex sucks! Use UPS instead. read more

Vega... he was very rude he kept shaking his head, rolling his eyes, and making noises every time I would make a selection for something. Went to this FedEx and received horrible customer service. I realize my packing job wasn't perfect but the tone of voice and attitude of the employee was very condescending. She made me feel like an idiot for packing my own products. I am huge believer in good customer service with a smile. There was even an older gentleman in line before me and I could tell she made him feel very uncomfortable. The only reason I give this location 2 stars is because the other employee there was nice to me. If you're looking to ship something by FedEx you might want to go to another location. read more

FedEx has always delivered. I use frequently and highly trust. I can spot the amateurs who are trying to ship. Yes, the clerk does need the correct address, someone does have to read your handwriting. For the pros, we can use on-line and print out forms. I normally try to drop off in the early morning or early afternoon. They close at 6 and the lines are long. They have a plane on the runway at 7, so if you are procrastinator and think you can get in at 6:15, you are out of luck. I don't want you to delay my package, so get your act together. Also, save some money and pack it yourself. Don't think UPS is any better, both FedEx and UPS use high speed belts, so get bubble wrap and pack it good. read more

This location is basically a drop off and pick up location only. It is mainly a distribution station where couriers drive out of to deliver packages. The specific location has supplies for packing up boxes and such but they do not pack it for you. Also, there isn't printing services here like most people believe. There is a Dropbox that gets picked up at 6:00pm and they do have a drive thru you can utilize if your packages are ready to drop off without needing a receipt. I apologize if I've got the wrong location, but maybe that's part of the problem. All I know is that this is the place where the deliveries for S Scottsdale residential originate And that the supervisor for the deliverymen is "Art." I was expecting a next-day delivery to an easily-located spot and waited with my door open all day to receive the pkg. When it hadn't arrived by 7:00 p.m., I called customer service and was told they had until 8:00 pm to complete the delivery. I tracked the pkg online, and as I sat there, still waiting, online update said they were unable to deliver--no one home or business closed, and had returned the pkg to the station. This was a blatant lie, as the driver clearly made no attempt to deliver the pkg. I later learned others in this area had the same experience that day. Next day, after many calls to customer service, my package was delivered by a very nice delivery woman--she had encountered angry customers all along her route that morning because of the poor service by a different deliveryman the previous day. The problem is that no one locally will take responsibility for the behavior of the drivers. Customer service try to help but they are located in another state. I asked to be connected to the location where the local driver originates, but when I asked for "Art," the supervisor, he of course, was not available, and a message for him to call me was never returned. This is the worst delivery service I've encountered in quite some time. The previous Sunday afternoon, the US Postal Service delivered another package, and the day before, UPS was promptly at my door to pick up a package. Years ago, FedEx was the premier delivery service, but they have clearly lowered their standards for driver conduct to the point that they have no standard at all--and clearly drivers know there will be no consequences when they "blow off" a customer or several customers, because even their supervisor doesn't return customer calls. My overnight package was supposed to be delivered by 1030am. I received a phone call saying that the driver couldn't find the address to my business, which the address is very clear on the outside of building. While speaking to dispatch, I explained that the driver must walk into the building, a office building, to find my business. I received a email about 25min later saying they couldn't deliver due to the wrong address. I called back, customer service couldn't do anything for me immediately but that the package would be delivered by 12. 1230 arrived and nothing. I spent 40min on the phone with customer service and they said all they could do was message the driver and find out when they could deliver, they responded with between 2-3pm. I'm writing this review at 3:50pm and there's no package. I've wasted an entire day going back and forth and most likely will have to pick it up myself, which is about 40 min out of my way and to top the day off, this ordeal has costed me money and a pissed off customer! read more

A note slip was left on my door saying I could pick up my package from this location after 6:00 PM the day of. The box under is saying "another delivery will be attempted" was not checked, so I went to pick up the package the next day as I needed it that day. The store was a 45 minute drive for me. When I got there I was told that the package was back out for delivery and I explained that I now couldn't get home in time. The employee stated there was nothing he could do for me and since there was a signature required, the package couldn't be left. He seemed to have no care of the situation that I was now in even though it occured due to a Fed Ex error. I then called into Fed Ex and they said they could not help either. Could not even have the driver or anyone call me to let me know when the package was close so I could figure out a way to have it picked up. Basically completely unwilling to go out of their way to help with a bad situation that their company put me in. It came off as pure laziness and this seemed to be the theme with everyone I spoke with at Fed Ex. Not just this location. read more
