But then the icing on the cake was last night after hours, I called the owner, Jason Lindgren, on his cell for help to find a mis delivered FEDX pkg containing original signed closing documents for a real estate transaction closing today. The pkg had been delivered to a company we did not know. Jason went personally and was at the door before this company even opened this am. Like a private detective, Jason was able to talk this person into looking deeper for the package (which he insisted was not there) and was able to secure it and hand deliver back to so that we were able to close escrow! Well Jason saved the day! I could not be more grateful! If there were 10 stars, I would give them!

The guy that was training me told me he was only getting paid $120 to do this same route for the past 2 years! HAHAHA... Guy who was training me ended up going behind my back and taking the route at the new payout. If you don't have a route, you're forced to be on call for on demand deliveries where you're not guaranteed a daily minimum. The dispatch completely failed the driver's one summer, all the Sonora quest runs stopped overnight and the job was no longer financially beneficial. It wasn't until I found another gig months later where they contacted me for more work. Absolutely horrible disconnect between management and the drivers.

I called Ace, told them I was the Sr Director of Global Service Quality for a company doing 20 million/day shipments & never heard of an owner operator thinking they knew better than the shipper. Why didn't the courier deliver to the address supplied by the pharmacy on the package?!?!? Apologies up and down from Ace. Today on a Monday, it occurs to me that I didn't receive a delivery on the previous Friday. I called the Pharmacy who assured me that it was shipped and labeled to the right address. This prompted me to remember the last time, so I called my former neighbor. And there it was! With our new home's address on it. Due to the geniuses at Ace, $6,000 of medicine went to waste. Stay FAR away from Ace. They don't follow good processes and certainly don't learn from their mistakes. I am perplexed at how they have stayed in the courier business longer than a month.

It said 24/7 but I was skeptical as it was late in the evening on a holiday weekend. I spoke to Alex who despite the odd hour was very kind and courteous. Given how I was rambling I am amazed he actually deciphered what I wanted. Not only was he able to schedule the pick up and drop off, their driver, was very professional and prompt.
