Walked in to see a giant wall of a security guard (6'6" guessing) in front of me. He inquired of my visit. I was renewing the registration on my utility trailer. He asked if I had my license, of course. Then gave me a ticket for standing in line. I was in and out in under 10 minutes. I love this registry for the speed and the fact that most of the people here are fabulous. I also found out a few weeks ago that I had been over paying for this trailer because it was listed at the incorrect weight. I thought I'd have to go through all kinds of hoops to get it fixed. The gracious RMV worker had it done in a moment for me. And said that she was sorry that I had been over paying for the last 6 years. Yep, at least it's done now.!!!

Website says drop off registrations have a faster turn around and as this was closest to my location, I dropped off the needed forms on Friday. A week goes by and I hear NOTHING back. I called, was on hold for an hour and then told to email them. I emailed them, they requested my info, sent it over and then heard nothing back. Now a week and a half has gone by. Called again. Hold for two hours. Told to go to the location. Once there I was told I missed a form and that they tried to call me the same day as drop off (checked call log and had no missed calls from them, also they had my email on my file but didn't inform me at all of a missing form). Brought back the needed form. Waited another two days and finally got a confirmation, only to be told on arrival that I need to bring in ANOTHER FORM (which the email I received does not mention). A WASTE OF TIME. I understand infrastructure is struggling with the pandemic but we're a year in. While the RMV seemed outdated before, this is just a disgrace.

I saw one around the corner from our house early in the morning taking my son to a Cub Scout event. I saw one just a few hundred feet further down that street while commuting to work. I saw one across the street, standing on its rear legs and peering into my neighbors bedroom window. I saw one as we drove to Stop and Shop and saw another one as we headed to a hiking trail. And yes, we've seen them on our property. They loved to knock over our trash can and drag the garbage bags across the lawn, leaving a rather unpleasant clean-up chore the next morning. Once, they salvaged a full bag of Airheads we had thrown away and feasted on them. Bears have gotten into our trash three times -- -but it won't happen any more. Because today, we had our bear proof trash can delivered. It has a locking gizmo on the top that won't open when it gets knocked down, unlike the simple hinged lids on convention trash barrels. It has an instruction panel on the lid, right next to a cool logo of a bear's head. For the last few years we kept our old trash can in the garage where it not only smelled but made it awkward to walk from the cars and the entrance, or vice versa. Now we can leave the trash barrel outside under God's blue sky, where it belongs, and not have to worry about picking up scattered trash and torn garbage from those nocturnal visitors. BTW, Paine's has been our waste removal vendor since we moved here, and we've always been happy with their service.

I am always paying in advance so... this billing period was from let's say April to October making a monthly payment towards that bill everyone I sent him 50 or $60 and May I received a notice that I owe $31 that was still out so I set up a Bank of America automated payment for $31 so besides being upset with Bank of America I'm now upset with pains because they didn't get the payment until 7/1 and automated bank written check which you can clearly see wasn't my error it was a bank check so Monday no trash service. Maybe being me thinking I make payments all the time in advance but maybe it was just a delay in the holiday so I called and I'm like hey they didn't pick up my trash. Where the woman pretty arrogantly tells me that it's because I owe them $30 for my advanced trash payment towards October. I mean, let's be honest if I needed a refund right now and I canceled my service. You owe me $70 You had the audacity to not pick up this weeks trash for this particular week on a holiday week over $30. When I've been an outstanding customer for the whole time, I've been a customer I'm always making payments. I never leave a lagging bill. Not ever on purpose. I'm always raving about the service until today. I pay an extra amount of money for a bear can.

On their website , a missing mail form was initiated. On Sept, 25a household member contacted an employee at the local post office for an update. Even though the employee was polite and professional which was great, his answer appeared to be a training book answer of how to possibly prevent this from occurring again. We appreciate the already known information provided from the employee however, we were more interested in the letter being found and what the post office was doing to find it. The household member informed the employee that the letter was a check and the we were concerned and will cancel it. We have not yet heard of any progress. Oh yes and this is hilarious. A few days later when raining, I go out to the mailbox and observe a letter on the ground addressed to our neighbors, of course I made sure it went to the intended address. This was not the first time. To the USPS employees, Thanks for doing the hard and sometimes tedious work. May I ask all just to be a little more careful with the mail? Thank you, Mr. B
