3/26/26 EDIT: Ben who owns Laundry Party LLC, illegally hired an NYC law firm to send a slanderous, threatening, intimating letter full of lies to me, a Massachusetts senior citizen, to try to force me to remove this 100% honest review. Laundry Party LLC has no ties to NYC and the lawyers of Dash & Associates of NYC are not licensed in the state of Massachusetts. Ben has made NO attempt to amicably settle this matter, instead he's illegally hired an NYC law firm to intimidate, threaten, slander, bully, and harass me to try to force me to remove this 100% honest review. See photo I've attached, Laundry party washed my light color clothes, either with my dark clothes, or someones dark clothes. And the shirt on the right which used to be the same color as the one on the left, came back dingey blueish gray color. Ben claims my clothing is cheap quality and it faded. Thats impossible. Bens company washed both shirts several times over the course of 3 months. But the week in question, only the shirt on the right was washed by Laundry Party, not the one on the left. The one on the right as you can see, came back horribly discolored. When asked about it, Ben refused to discuss any compensation whatsoever, and instead blamed me, then illegally hired an out of state lawyer to harass me. Someone named Attorney Barbara Harper from the offices of Dash and Associates of New York City NY. Ben was apparently thinking he would intimidate, scare, bully, and harass a senior citizen into dropping this issue and removing the 100% honest reviews I have left here and on Google. Harassing, abusing, intimidating a senior citizen is illegal. Ben also lied to the lawyer that claims he has tried to amicably settle this with me. He has not. He called ONCE told me he would not compensate me and after a few minutes hung up on me. I have proof I called Ben over a dozen times, emailed several times, sent a note in my laundry bag as well, all asking politely to have a conversation to settle this. Ben knows my name, my phone number, my address as well as the contact information for the state of Massachusetts department he has a contract with, to do laundry for elderly persons. And Ben has refused to contact me, return calls, answer emails, and he refused to discuss it when asked by the state of Massachusetts department he's contracted with. Ben, nor anyone from Laundry Party have tried to negotiate this in good faith at all. He's trying to get out of taking responsibility for what happened to my clothing. See the photo, that's 100% proof a load of my clothes was ruined by Laundry Party. Ben also lied and said I never sent the clothing back so he could try to clean it. I sent it back several times and every time it came back just as dingey nasty bluish gray as you see in them photo. Now Ben and Dash and Associates have opened themselves up to have legal charges of threats, intimidation, harassment and bullying of a senior citizen. Dash and Associates and Ms. Barbara Harper are NOT licensed to do business in the state of Massachusetts and have NO business sending legal communications to anyone living in Massachusetts. read more

They were scheduled to pick up 8 bags of laundry on Nov 20, 2023 at a cost of $248. They did not arrive to pick up the laundry as scheduled, did not answer their phone, and did not call. The owner of the laundry (a friend) no longer trusted them to take away eight 13-gallon bags of her clothing and household items. We both reached out by telephone. I have emailed numerous times. It has now been two weeks, and I am still waiting for a refund OR EVEN A RESPONSE TO MY EMAILS. Caveat emptor--buyer beware. read more

First-time user rating: Approximately perfect! Parent of two, F/T employed, end of my rope on Fri; couldn't face doing laundry and also couldn't face the pile of dirty laundry. Did not want to drop a lot of cash or invent new hassles. These folks made my day!!! Though I'm already married, here's why I want my best friends to date Laundry Party: 1- PIck-up & drop-off: VERY EASY. You can select a specific time to oversee the transaction, or select a general time and be somewhere else. You can specify where; my back door is hard to find, and they managed well! They even texted to let me know they'd completed pick-up & drop-off, exactly where I'd specified. 2- Clothes came back very clean, crisply folded, nicely packed. Next day!!! 3- On phone they were (Ben was) super-pleasant & helpful, flexible; went out of their way to enable same-day pickup despite being too late by the web interface. You can even have them use your preferred cleaning products. 4- VERY INEXPENSIVE! Without my asking, they even credited my credit card for the amount of clothing I'd over-estimated on the online form. How nice is that! Improvement opportunities 1- Though website is super-sweet, enhanced usability would improve first-timers' online experience: -how to estimate number of bags' worth if clothes (answer: kitchen-sized garbage bag). -what is latest you can still have pickup... -what is earliest you can get 'em back... 2- Clothes were returned in non-reusable plastic bags, despite Eco-friendly cleaning agents. Overall, recommended. Thoughts: BAGS, NOT WEIGHT: Unlike other services I've used in the past, who "weigh" your clothes, LP charges a flat fee per bag - so whatever you can stuff in their large bags is $20 per bag. I like this system a lot, as I don't have to worry about certain items being more expensive and I know what I'm going to be paying without waiting for someone to come and weigh everything. My husband and I have done some testing and found that the bags come out to a little under twice as much cost as doing the laundry ourselves at the laundromat. It depends, though, if that time is worth it to you. It is to us. ONLINE ORDERING: They have a nice online ordering system. You can specify days/times and locations for pick-up/drop-off. On that first menu, they also have additional services for around $4-$6 fees such as stain removal, special delicate wash, same-day service and other things I've apparently never used because I can't think of them. SERVICE: Service has been prompt. Clothes has been delivered well-folded, although packed in a plastic bag rather than a paper bag (so things do get wrinkled) and nothing lost as of yet. I order the unattended drop-off/pick-up and I like that I get email notifications when that has happened. If it is a day I'm off work, I actually do head home to bring in the laundry (tip for management if you are reading this - putting undergarments somewhere hidden would be appreciated; the bags are clear!) UPDATES: *March 2016: So far great service. Highly recommended. *July 2016: I've had two white items come back recently with stains. A few days later: Good response from Laundry Party (Ben) via email that attests to how much they do seem to care about customers. For me, I haven't been able to reach them via phone, but email was prompt (between one minute to one day except on the weekends, I think) *August 2016: I'm graduating to more delicate items that I care about; so far, so good. read more

Convenient and good on fragrance-free, eco-friendly cleaning. However, these drawbacks need to be corrected: - They lost two expensive woolen socks (not a pair, so two pairs were ruined). - They ignored my instructions to refrain from rolling the tops of sock pairs together. - Clothes came back in clear plastic bags crushed together so that several items were very wrinkled, even though folded. I asked if I could supply hangers so that some shirts could be hung instead; they said no, they do not do this. - In my experience, they never answer the phone. I don't know how the reviewer below was able to reach them. I also emailed about the issues listed above and never got a response. They did respond promptly when I sent a message about placing an order, however. So their customer service really needs an upgrade so that it serves the customer, not just their business. Wonderful. Outstanding. I live at Clark House, Amherst where our building is undergoing extensive rehab. The laundry rooms on each floor needed to be shut down for an extended period of time and Laundry Party was hired to help us. I am grateful for their service. They have been simply terrific. Laundry has been washed, folded, put into bags, and delivered to each of our apartment doors. Some of us are highly sensitive to scents/fragrances, and our clean laundry has been returned scent-free. I recommend Laundry Party without any reservation at all, and wish them great success in their business.
