The ABSOLUTE BEST place in town for laundry! There are more than enough machines that can accommodate large and small loads alike. The staff here is warm and friendly. Despite other reviews they do enforce mask-wearing, but they're incredibly kind when doing so unlike other places in the area. Jess at the desk was very helpful when I asked for help deciding which machines would suit me best. The location is very convenient as well. They are right next door to the Hangar so you can have a snack or drink while waiting on your wash. As long as I'm in the area I will come back again and again. With SMALL TAGS that display Do Not Use **at the other end of the machine towards the bottom, this place has more broken than working machines and dryers. When you go to speak up as to where to put the sign for EVERYONE to see - which would be where the customer would pay - but instead I was spoken over and my friend told me they were going to call the police... who is at fault. I did not cause a ruckus, I only spoke up as to where to put the sign for OBVIOUS reasons for the customers to clearly see. I hope this place drains down a clogged sewer. read more

New name - Let's Go Laundry! I assume new ownership, but not positive. Even on a Saturday afternoon it was not overly crowded. Plenty of machines available. The staff person was extremely helpful and patient with me. He helped me with the machines because it had been a while since I've been to a laundromat. The interior was overall incredibly clean. They have a TV area with seating and a separate lounge area with seating and snacks. As expected, some machines were out of service, but I estimate 80% were fully functional. They have everything you need here. And again the cleanliness was impressive. Nice job. read more

I cannot say enough good things about this place. What an incredible vibe. I have never experienced a laundromat as more than an laundromat, but this place just exudes amazing energy. You've got the ample amount of washer/dryers, the snack bar, pool table, the atmosphere that makes you feel like you haven't left 1993. But what brings them from good to great is the wonderful, caring staff. I don't even feel like they just care about my laundry. I feel like they care about ME! Dion especially, and another employee who is always there (whom I can't remember his name but is also awesome). They keep me coming back. Pick up and delivery laundry service was really awesome. It cost $22 per bag, they say it's about a 30 pound bag which is like a week or so of laundry and I think it's like a smidge less than that. I think it's a great deal especially for busy or lazy people like me who don't want to go into the nasty basement to do my laundry quarters. It's not enough to post signs that tell people they need to wear masks---you actually have to enforce. I cannot tell you how many people I've seen who take off their masks inside the laundromat once they see no one cares, and the employees say nothing. That space is very close together. I tried once or twice, but it isn't worth it to visit an establishment that isn't taking the health of its clients and our families seriously. read more

On site help when most needed. Management's understanding of costumers needs was really appreciated. My machine malfunctioned due to my over-stuffing and they gave me an up-grade without my asking...talk about service, haven't encountered that " kind" in a very long while. After having returned to Amherst from the Hartford area, where I managed a bookstore at Trinity College for some four years, I initially tried several other laundromats in town. None compared to The Laundry Club, especially for its cleanliness and its exceptional customer service. Also, most especially since The Laundry Club was taken over by new ownership, within the last five years, the Laundromat has taken on a kind of special shine. Old washers and dryers are replaced by newer and better models on a consistent basis. The old linoleum floor that was worn was replaced with a new one, which is even more aesthetically pleasing that the last, with a green and white checkered pattern, that is a little easier on the eyes and the spirit than the old black and yellow one. However, the addition of practical improvements isn't the only reasons why anyone would not want to choose to do their laundry at The Laundry Club. It is often the intangible elements that this business and its owner aspire to, such as the festive tie-dye display at the main counter, that inflects the uplifting spirit of the place. And, yes, the floors are regularly mopped and the aura of the place exhibits a certain comforting polish, without there being a stuffy air there at all. The Laundry Club is more than just a laundromat. Although there is a television available for customers, it is turned down low enough for others to be able to read while they are waiting for their laundry to pass through its wash cycle and for it to finish in the dryers. In addition, unlike other laundromats, the tables where one can sit are always wiped clean, and although smokers may go outdoors to light up, in my own experience over the years, I have never smelled the noxious pungence of cigarette smoke there: inside or out. When I have dropped off dry cleaning, I have always been happy with the results: both with my clothes coming back in a timely manner and with even a nasty white clam sauce/olive oil stain being removed from a favorite blue button-down dress shirt. Never have I inhaled the smell of mold or dirty laundry at The Laundry Club that often lingers in other laundromats, especially in industrial washers that have had to take the abuse of a large student population. The washers and dryers at The Laundry Club are maintained, as I have even witnessed firsthand, on a daily basis. Although during the time when I was trying out different laundromats, I did come upon various degrees of faulty maintenance issues in laundromats other than The Laundry Club. However, what you won't find there are washers half-filled with standing water or gum, pocket change, and other detritus left in washers and dryers. Excellence in business as well as in life is especially infrequent enough in our current era. It is my belief this is because too many people don't care about either the large picture as much as they perhaps should or the small things that add pleasure and delight to our lives. Caroline Myss, an intuitive healer, often offers the saying, "What is small is large and what is large is small." The Laundry Club has all of this covered in their quality of customer service. It is a modern business that is managed under the auspices of a proactive brand of old-fashioned respectful customer service. The Laundry Club ownership and staff excels in all of these aspects of the level of service it makes available to its customers. Its ownership, in my opinion, consistently offers a satisfying experience to anyone interested in not only coming away from their time spent in this laundromats with clean clothes but just may be quite surprised to walk out, on their way to tick off their other chores for the day, with a smile on their face after they have had either a felicitous exchange with the owner, or one of his staff, or for just simply having a stellar customer service experience because the washers and dryers work and are well-maintained and the tables are clean and the floor have been mopped. Not to mention the attendant Miranda was super helpful and sweet. She answered all my questions very politely and thoughtfully. I came here one time during the summer to do a lot of dirty laundry that had built up. The oversized washers are nice if you're a student who never does laundry/person with a family and a lot of clothes. I came close to closing time so I was somewhat time pressured, but it's nice that they have food, some video games if you're into that, and a TV. Since the TV's not super loud, it's also not a bad place to bring a book and do your reading. As far as laundromats go, it's clean, staffed so if something comes up you aren't stuck dealing with it alone, and not a bad place to have to sit and wait for your laundry. read more
