The staff here is very friendly and helpful, and much much better wait times here than Windsor. Please show them some respect in kind!

Regardless of the busiest days the staff are efficient and considerate. Lisa is exceptional in every way. The office is always well stocked and clean. Only improvement would be to have a restroom. Now if I could just get the public to close the outside doors to keep the heat or cooling inside, I'd be grateful. We taxpayers are paying for the utilities after all. read more

This is my favorite US Post Office! Who says that?! But it's true! Over the last 12 years I've moved all around the Bay Area and I always despised going to the sad, dimly-lit, and unfriendly Post Office locations in my other towns. But the Healdsburg Post Office is a clean, bright space and best of all employs friendly, patient, and helpful staff. Parking is easy in their dedicated lot. There's often a line of people inside, but it moves. And the staff have been very good about following Covid-19 safety protocols. My only gripe: it's closed on Saturdays and Sundays when I often have time to go to the Post Office! Sigh! One more thing: our mail carriers in town have all been friendly and kind. We especially love Diana! Thanks for all that you do! read more

Lisa was great. Got passport renewals done for my two kids. She was kind and competent, efficient as well. Way to go USPS!

Don't care about the Post office itself, but the curb outside is the best place to sit and tell your friends your secrets! It's so fun and just make sure you don't laugh too hard and fall off! read more

Trying to call the Healdsburg Post Office is impossible. Their phone just rings with no answer. Might just as well not have a phone there. I am trying to get their attention because the mail carrier has been delivering my mail to the wrong address. It's happened twice in the last week and I would like them to look into it. No luck on the phone, it just rings and rings. read more

trying to reach them by phone is almost impossible. The odds of winning the lottery is better than the odds of not getting a busy signal. counter customer service is great - everyone's accommodating & friendly - but if you need to talk to someone there, you'll save time by getting in your car & driving there instead of waiting for the busy signal to turn into a ring. :) not sure what its like once you get through since I haven't had that experience yet. read more

Delivered my package to a completely different address. Had to give mail to neighbors that was mis delivered. I wouldn't describe the service as friendly. Ups store is better. read more

Got into an argument with the delivery person as I asked her to move my packages from my front sidewalk to my front porch; approximately 25 - 30 feet. She got annoyed and told me no, I could do it myself. I insisted as I am disabled and can't do it myself. I explained that I was concerned that my packages might get stolen so close to the road and she said that' wouldn't happen. I said it had. She said she doubted that! She said I should have my son move them. I explained that he is at work. She finally moved them to the porch with big attitude like I am just such a lazy thing! So there I am on my porch arguing with a delivery person as to whether I am disabled enough to have my packages moved to my porch from my sidewalk? Damn. She told me I was being rude. I told her that if she hated her job so much maybe she should find another. She was really angry. She said that in the future she would make sure my packages were held at the Post Office for pick up. I asked her if there was someone there who could put packages in my car and then my son can get them out when he gets off work? I think she thought I was being sarcastic and got into her little truck and slammed the door and left. I was able to kick and shove my packages into my house. I have a whole bunch of medical conditions that disable me. I'm standing on my front porch telling her several of them as if I have to justify getting the little extra help of putting my packages on my porch instead of my sidewalk? And I look fine. I do not look disabled. I guess if she is going to get so bent out of shape my packages can be left at the Post Office for pick up. Of course this is not really going to be very convenient. So maybe I can make a special request and have my packages delivered to my front porch and not my front sidewalk? I'm sorry. This whole situation is ridiculous. And I have a lot of deliveries as I am disabled. read more

Their phone system for passports is crappy. I have tried for 2 full days to get through to get an appointment for a passport but phone is always busy. You cannot get a passport without an appointment. There is no contact number, email address or whatever to leave a message, to call back. They may be friendly people but forget trying to get them by phone. read more

This is the Worst Post Office Ever!!!! Now they have lost 3 packages that the tracking says were delivered. 2 on June 12th and 1 on June 9th security video shows nothing was delivered or left at the door but they just say "huh, well it wasn't your regular mail carrier I'll have the supervisor call you" that was two days ago, no call no packages. So now I'll make another visit to the post office, stand in line, tell my story, get told the supervisor is out delivering priority packages (which mine were!) and get no results. This is an ongoing issue for the past year, they claim packages were delivered, or claim notices were left, then mysteriously a package appears days later. Of course the people are always nice, just clueless and disinterested. read more
