Nothing but a group of grumpy, miserable and incompetent staff. Always seems like bother when you ask them for anything. Constantly losing and misplacing numerous packages of residents. I have never lived in a town that has such a problem at the post office. It's absolutely ridiculous. read more

This used to be a great post office. But for about a year, it has been the opposite. Mainly with issues receiving packages. If you look up your tracking info, the packages are marked delivered to your mailbox. But they are not there. They have been left at the post office and we're somehow supposed to know where they are. No pickup slip is left in our box. Nothing. If they do manage to leave one, it's super rare. You can't call the post office to find out anything because no one ever answers the phone. Then we're given argumentative excuses as to how busy they are so they can't answer the phones. Right. The manager is rude and uppity. The place was a total disaster last Christmas season. Lines with up to 2 hour waits, just to see if our packages that were marked delivered to our mailbox, are there at the post office. All the local social media sites are super fed up with this post office and their inability to run things how they used to be run. If you're not leaving a pickup slip in a person's mailbox, that's a failure to do your job right. It's not the job of the customer to be running all over, trying to figure out where their packages are. I was told my packages were at the post office. Then they wouldn't give them to me without a tracking number. But I had no slip to turn in so they could have it. They told me to come back with my tracking. Yet prior, I was able to retrieve my packages with my ID. I go back the next day with photos of my tracking number from the usps website, and my packages are not at the post office. They don't know where they are, and keep arguing with me that they say they're marked delivered. I finally leave, very upset and sick of this unnecessary runaround, only to find them in my mailbox finally. But they didn't tell me they were delivered today. Could have been so easy to say, yes, they were here, but the mail carrier took them today and now they're in your box. That would be too considerate, I suppose. Everyone here is tired of this. We don't expect perfection. We do expect integrity and consideration to customers, as well as actually doing your job right. Not putting it off on us. Being available and ready to communicate without excuses, would also be nice. if you look at their facebook page, they had to turn off the comments because people were getting irate. So yeah, just pretend it's not happening. Some photos from their facebook attached. Customers want to be treated with respect and consideration. As it should be. We want to know where our packages are and pickup slips left in our mailboxes, when we need to go pick them up. And they need to be there when we go out of our way to get them. We need our mail placed in our mailboxes, not in someone else's. This is also becoming a big problem. read more

How bad can it get ? Hard to tell, because they keep getting worse. Slow, rude, lose packages, what more can you want ? Mailing prices keep going up, but service never improves. What are they doing with the money ? How about less TV advertising, and instead mandatory customer service and efficiency classes for personnel ? read more

We tried to pick up a package on 12/30 the same day the post office tried to deliver but we're told they could not do this the same day, as they have done before the Christmas rush. There were no signs posted about the New Years Eve schedule and the USPS website said they would be open till 5:00 PM. We went in on 12/31 at 1:06 PM and the door was locked with a sign posted that they would close at 1:00 PM on the 31st, today!! I'm sick of this Hooterville post office in Edgwood, NM!!! read more

The worst post office I have ever had to deal with. Seriously. Won't deliver a package to a neighborhood cluster box, but the carrier does not leave a way to re-schedule the delivery, which I usually go and pick up at the po because the carrier is not willing to actually try to redeliver. Then, I see on the app that I have a 'reminder to reschedule' or the package will be sent back to the sender, after three days?!?!? Come on. There is no way to reschedule the delivery in the first place on the app or website because when I was able to go to the USPS.com/redeliver site as was suggested, it tells me that the package is not eligible for redelivery. This is maddening and just plain ridiculous. Plus, when I have gone in to pick up a package, the lady is just plain old rude. She needs some coaching from management on how to interact appropriately with customers and not be rude. read more

PICK UP THE PHONE!!! This office lost my package and will not respond to me or the people at my local post office. I've tried calling multiple times at different times of the day, and sat with the phon wringing for nearly 5 min each time only to have no one pick up. My post office said they emailed this office and haven't gotten a response. It's bad enough you lose my package, but can you at least answer your phone so we can try and figure something out. Keep in mind all of this has happened AFTER usps told me my package would be here. I didn't find out about this until AFTER. Lack of communication after a screw up on their end is the cherry on top. I hope for everyone's sake that their package never goes through this facility. read more

I have always had good service! The people are nice and efficient. I am glad we have a post office close by.

If I could give this post office and our mail carrier a zero star, I would. Ridiculous that my neighbors and I have to continually give each other our mail. The honest neighbors return mail to the rightful owners at least. The carrier has one job, to get the mail to the right people. We complain and complain, and nothing gets done. I have had a gift card stolen out of an envelope. Others have had packages not even show up after tracking shows delivered. read more

This location is convenient to the highway and easy to access. There is plenty of parking if you need to go inside to conduct business.

The Edgewood post office is nothing to brag about. The carriers have a terrible habit of losing your mail or misdelivering it to other people all the time, and the post office will not fix the problem. I got someone else's mail today from across town! Read the labels mail carrier! You have to stand in line forever to get your packages or buy stamps or mail anything, especially around the holidays. Get some extra help when the holidays roll around! They never answer the phone when you call or it's busy most of the time. read more

Asked where the passport forms were and not a single employee looked up or acknowledged me. Everyone in line heard the question and the people waiting at the counter asked again for me. The employee looked up and asked if we were next, with disgust in his voice. All they had to do was point me in the right direction. That has to be the worst service I have ever gotten anywhere. Everyone heard me ask the question, and the other customers even asked again for me and they refused to even respond. Then after waiting in line to ask again I get to the counter and they say "by appointment only". It wasn't busy. There was no reason for them to treat me like that. read more

This post office closed our PO Box and started returning mail without so much as a phone call. They stated we hadn't picked up our mail, but I had just checked it the week before discovering it had been closed. It cost me $30 to reopen it, but several days worth of mail had been returned to senders including a birthday present for my daughter. There is a very spiteful mean woman who works there and has yelled at and been extremely condescending to my husband on several occasions. They also gave the contents of our entire mailbox to the wrong person. Thankfully they returned it, and it did not appear to have anything missing. If you have a choice, do not open a mailbox here. read more

I have had the post office return packages to the sender saying I refused delivery when in fact delivery was never attempted. The manager said they would deliver packages to my home, but in fact, they do not. This has caused many problems with holidays and birthdays. I have never gotten an explanation why this keeps happening, and I have always been home at the attempted delivery time. read more
