I frequently buy and sell auto parts on eBay, and many of the items I receive are shipped in similar totes. In fact, I originally received this very tote from UPS when it was used to deliver a transmission to me. I secured the lid with 16 cable straps so there was no way it could open. eBay directed me to the closest UPS store, so I drove there with the tote. At UPS Store #0105, the manager refused to accept my package and insisted that I purchase one of their boxes for $97. After a lengthy discussion, I asked them to provide a written statement confirming their refusal, which they declined to do. I then took the same tote to another UPS location, where it was accepted in less than 30 seconds. For context, the package weighed 51 pounds and qualified as a heavy package. When I explained that UPS accepts plastic totes as shipping containers, I was told they weren't sure if the driver would accept it. So is the issue the material or the size of the tote? Their uncertainty made it clear that they were making decisions without knowing UPS policy. In reality, it seemed they simply didn't want to accept it because of its larger size. Education is key. I strongly recommend that the management ensure staff are properly trained to handle shipments according to UPS policy.

They were kind enough to walk me through my computer issues to get them the size they needed. Which most companies wouldn't have spent time doing. When they had the image they needed, they quickly had my sign printed. The quality was the best it comes. My foam board sign made the 50th Wedding Anniversary party extra special. It was beautiful and high quality. Highly recommend A Good Sign for your printing.

Time to update and state that, five years later, this company remains as good as it gets. First and foremost, they don't bullsh*t. When you call/message/text/stop by, they're going to be realistic about what they can and cannot create, and you'll get a realistic ETA. Second, the product always shines. I've ordered everything from banners and signage to printed materials and stickers, it's all very, very Good. And third, this is my favorite aspect of the biz: they're amazing community partners. Over the years, they've provided plenty of materials and support to local businesses, most evidenced by so many restaurants that proudly posted their un-gender-specific bathroom signage that, honestly, couldn't be better stated. Just wash your hands, and then call this company, you won't regret it.

BEWARE: Apparently Refrigeration Is a Secret VIP Benefit. Now I understand why this location has a…read morelow star rating. This review is for the UPS Store at 8226 Menaul Blvd NE in Albuquerque. For approximately nine months, I had refrigerated medication shipped to this location as a UPS Access Point. Every shipment was refrigerated, so I reasonably believed temperature-sensitive medications would be handled appropriately. Then one shipment was left unrefrigerated and ruined. An employee acknowledged the issue and documented it. Management had my contact information. No one called. No one apologized. No one followed up. When the replacement shipment arrived, I finally heard from management not to apologize, but to explain that refrigeration is merely a "courtesy" for non-mailbox customers and that I should not expect my medication to be refrigerated unless I pay for a mailbox. So apparently the policy is: refrigerate medication for nine months, never tell the customer it's optional, leave a shipment out and ruin it, then explain afterward that the customer should have somehow known better. Even more impressive was being told that the store bears no responsibility because I didn't pick up the package fast enough. Apparently accepting temperature-sensitive medication and then failing to store it properly is not the issue the customer is. If refrigeration is not guaranteed, customers should be told before packages are accepted, not after a shipment is damaged. Based on my experience, if you have refrigerated medication, choose a different UPS Access Point.
