    I purchased a PO Box from through this post office early last year because they provided 24 hour lobby access. Though their business hours are M-F from 9-5, their lobby was 24 hours. This past weekend, I went (Saturday evening) to check the mail and the doors were locked. I checked the second entrance which was also locked. I then looked at the hours posted on the door and the lobby hours are now the exact same as the store hours. We received no notice, no flyer in the box, no email, or no signs posted in the store about this. So now I'm left with nothing to do except reach out to someone through the USPS website regarding this. The interesting thing is the USPS website still has the old hours.

    This is going pretty quick today... frosty isn't so social... I love pete... he is great.

    I ABSOLUTELY have to come here due to I have a PO box.. I mail out packages regular. .. won't let mad lipstick big hair lady help me... she talks way too long and is noisey... Pete is the man unless someone has major animal dander he is way allergic. . I feel awful cor that. .. The star I give go to Pete only..

    Dropped a star for the reason Ms Maria just chats chats chats..then greets a dog while she has a long line ..no sense of urgency..reminds me when you go Rite Aid...ever been in one of those lines ?

    I never really visited the UPS store in Downey until I started doing Amazon returns here. They're…read moresuper efficient here, very friendly, polite and professional. I walk in and I'm greeted every single time and I never have to wait! They always have a team working quickly. I've never really looked around, but it looks like there's all kinds of supplies here. They also accept other returns from stores and businesses. I don't know why they don't have higher ratings, but I've never had an issue here! The only issues I've had are completely out of this store's control. Sometimes there are people outside asking for money or people in an altered state hanging out outside. It doesn't always feel comfortable or safe but again, it's out of their control! The parking is so so. There's a busy Chipotle and Panda Express so the parking lot is a little chaotic to navigate. Hopefully in the future UPS will upgrade to a large store elsewhere in Downey with better parking! One can hope.

    Owner is so, so, rude and lacks basic customer service and transparency skills. The employees do…read morenot seem sure of what they are doing regarding differences in shipping or handling of packages. No one greets you upon entrance. The owner made no effort to help or explain to either me or his employee and wouldn't even stop to explain, speaking in passing to his employee as if I was not there. UPS is a chain, go to literally any other one for an experience with any semblance of customer service or transparency in why rates suddenly jump from a quote of $58 to $138 other than "it's a return label" which was what it was when I was quoted $58. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

    Would give a 0 star review if I could…read more I received a package on 2/6, the driver basically tossed the package on to my porch and left it in plain sight of the street and sidewalk , besides having specific instructions not to do that , it was just pure laziness and disrespect from the driver. About 2-3 minutes after my delivery an individual came on to my porch and grabbed not only my package from FedEx but several other Amazon packages that were correctly delivered out of site. Amazon quickly refunded me for the items even though it wasn't their driver that blatantly made the mistake. I contacted the shipper just incase but they told me to contact FedEx since it was their driver. I have been on a long phone battle back and forth with FedEx , all they keep telling me is that the package says it was delivered and that's that . Not sure how the way their " trained " driver isn't responsible for incorrectly delivering my package that resulted in theft . I have received 2 voicemails from a Josie , first said the same as the rest . I called back 3 times during business hours and then finally received a phone call late in the evening which I missed because I was at work . The voicemail said they're closing the case and that they had tried to reach me 4 times which is a complete fabrication . I posted the video on my next door app and one of my neighbors showed me a video from their ring camera of my driver and the individual that stole my packages talking and having a laugh about it . This is completely disgusting and the fact that FedEx will not assume responsibility. What a joke this company is. I have sent my own videos along with my neighbors, the voicemails and screen shots of call logs to the authority's and several news outlets. FedEx had the chance to make this right but declined .
