My first class USPS tracking was delivered 9/25/20. The postal carrier made my purchased goods un obtainable by putting part of the package in another's locked mailbox. It requieres real effort to put package into two locked mailboxes. So high marks for effort. And low marks for service as it's clear the mail carrier went out of their way to do this. I cannot tip open bag as part of the item I purchase is also in another's mailbox. I'm now in t Second day when the carrier came and left with out fixing this. First time coming here. I had an appointment for passport services. They did not respected my time. Had to wait for the "passport agent". She was in a break. When she came back she helped the people in line . I asked to be help and one Asian looking woman with red hair (she had a face mask on) don't know her name. She was very rude. She kept telling me to wait for my turn. For the last 25 minutes. I won't come back ever. Worst service! Very disrespectful! We left without our passport application being sent. This is by far one of the worst post offices I've ever had to deal with. I moved to my current residence two years ago and have had nonstop issues since. I order online quite frequently and noticed instantly that the mail carrier would deliver packages to our front office instead of our doorstep. It was a minor inconvenience, but our office didn't always alert me of deliveries until days later. I emailed the post office hoping to avoid the office and deliver to me directly. Mainly because i witnessed the mail carrier deliver paper mail only and completely ignore packages and not even bother to attempt delivery. The post office then sent my email to our office opened with all of my personal information on it defending the mail carriers lack of interest in delivering packages. A few months ago, per our supposed lease, our office decided to no longer accept deliveries so I no longer receive any usps packages. Instead, numerous packages have been returned to sender without any notices given. Last month, after dealing with multiple packages returned and being refunded for items never received, I received a final notice to pick up a package. When I went to pick it up from the post office, the woman commented it was a final notice. Which was the only notice i received. She failed to mention I had two other packages sitting there and never gave them to me. A week later, while waiting for another package, I received 6 notices in one day saying attempts were made. Which were not because I am currently furloughed. So every month is delivery roulette with usps because the mail carrier refuses to do their job. I have since opted to have my deliveries sent to my moms house, who lives quite far because again, the mail carrier refuses to do their job. This was an issue far before this pandemic. I have a medical condition that prevents me from driving. I have seen the mail carrier deliver paper mail to the mailboxes. I've never seen him carry any boxes. I recently ordered a family pack of toilet paper. 24 rolls. And the reason it was not delivered? "Mailbox was full. " no real attempt. What a disgrace. This post office is the worse. I have a small business so drop off 10-15 packages a few times a week. I drop off around 3pm and 24 hours later they still aren't scanned in. I have customers contacting me that there is no update to the tracking number. I'm going on 2 days now and still no update to packages. This isn't the first time. Something's shady about this place. I was supposed to receive my check from my work. Notification was posted on their app but I never received it. Emailed them and was told to go to this post office. I went and was told it wasn't there. I showed them the email that I got and told me that they will contact me, giving them my phone number. Never got the call that I waited for a couple of days. I ended up notifying my employer, canceling the check and issuing a new one. It was a great discomfort for me for it happened during the holidays when I badly needed the money. Also, I didn't receive some of my mails and some were open, this happening through the years. They better thoroughly review the people they are hiring. read more

What a HORRIFIC Post Office! By far the worst I have been to. I went there because I sold something on Amazon and the dude has a PO Box address. I had to take off work early just to get there on time since they are only open from 8:30-5:00 daily. I didn't want to wait until Saturday so there I was on a Tuesday afternoon at 4:45PM. The line was LITERALLY out the door. After waiting for 10 minutes +, I was greeted by a rude postal worker who speaks broken English. It was a simple transaction and she proceeded to make the experience as painful as possible. No, I did not have bombs, perishables, combustibles, etc in my package and no I would not like to add any additional services or buy stamps. The package came out to $12.95. I whipped out my Amex and she requested to see my ID. They she carefully examined my ID and ask why the name on the card was different from my ID. I asked her to check again and then she said oh okay. Like I'm going to rip off the post office for $12.95!!. Anyways, I'm just glad that the ordeal is over and I do not have to return to the post office hopefully any time soon!!! read more

Chino post office is the WORST. I live 2 blocks from there and I get other people's mail all the time. They never double check the street name, they only look at the numbers. I see all the negative reviews and I'm shocked. I am thrilled that the office is open 24 hours a day so I can collect mail at my convenience. My box is small but they provide a key to a larger box when big items arrive. Since this small office is highly used, I often saw extra workers available to assist with small needs to get people though the line quicker. I honestly love this site. read more

This is probably my favorite post office to visit even though it's a little further from where I live. The staff here is helpful and always pleasant when dealing with customers. The only downside I can see with this place is that they don't open till 9am(most offices open at 8:30am). This place can get busy real quick as it isn't as big as other locations, but this staff works diligently to ensure that rarely happens. read more

I don't know what the government is paying these people to do. They don't properly deliver your package, they lose your package, they never answer their phones and, to top it off, I was left on hold for 45+ mins and realized they never were going to answer because they left me on hold 15 mins before 5pm (closing time). I just had to buy some stamps, and needed a package weighed for postage, so I stopped at my local USPS; there was about 3-4 people in line when I got there and the line moved pretty quickly. Staff wasn't overly friendly, but they weren't rude. They helped me do what I came to do and I was out of there lickity-split. Parking is pretty open, but I came at a pretty off-peak time, so I'm not sure how crowded it can get here. read more

I have packages deliver from Amazon ! I have noticed that each time if my regular mailman is off & the package is a good size . I will NEVER receive it on time! I have a video camera at the front door & the person who never try to deliver my packages will always sent a notice said delivery attempted and have issues! The door is wide open! Really he is just TOO LAZY TO GET OUT OF THE CAR ! Lies through his teeth! Call the post office & get the transfer around with the attitude as well! This post office experience was by far the worst. Not only are they rude, but they don't package items for you when they're already in box and they're just standing there. They just get paid to stand there and do nothing. Completely useless employees. They won't even allow you to use their tape they force you to buy their expensive tape that costs an arm and a leg for a measly size of tape that was unnecessary. They probably don't pay their employees enough because UPS has great customer service and is happy to finish packaging your return and courteous about it. I've been going to this post office for years now and have never had an issue up until recently on Tuesday 12/3/19 with Supervisor Amy. I left work early, coming straight from Redlands where I work to make it into the post office before closing at 5. I had the mail slip in my hands signed and ready to pick up my package since it was never delivered on sat with the rain. I arrived at the chino post office and took my place waiting in line. I was called up, handed my slip the worker at the counter and they informed me that they couldn't find my package. I waited, respectfully suggested if they could look around to find it. 10-12 minutes passed and the supervisor Amy was called. She walked out from the side door to tell me that the package could not be located. I asked if the mail carrier who initially delivered the package the first time could be contacted for more information on the location as to where it was placed? Amy informed me the mail carrier who delivered the package was off for the day, then proceeded to help the next person standing next to me. I stopped, said "excuse me Amy, is there any communication where his packages may be? Does anyone know? My situation was not handled appropriately yet and i never got anything resolved. Where is my package? What do I do next? How am I supposed to get my package?" She turned and said "oh sorry, I'm not sure. I can take your information down, name and number and can call you back. " I replied "I really just need a concrete plan and more detailed answer with more information as far how I'm getting my package, cause you just wrote my information on a piece of paper. Where's my delivery slip I signed and gave to you guys? I have medication in that package that needs to be in my hands as soon as possible." She says ok, then turns to help another person in line again. So by this time I'm frustrated how super unprofessional she was. Since her responses came with an attitude as well. I spoke up once more and said excuse me Amy. (As I apologized to the person she was helping, she completely understood) I suggested that Amy take care of my situation first before she moves on to help anyone else. Then she said ok I'll call you tomorrow. I replied, "what time?" She replied "When they get in" I replied "that's not a good time for me, can you be more specific?" She replied while shaking her head "I'm not sure right now" So I turned and I walked out frustrated with no real answer since she was unsure about when and where my package was or when I would receive it. She seemed flustered with the amount of people in the post office right as closing minutes approached. I never did not receive a call the following day, message or redelivery. Which is exactly why I wanted specifics for accountability. I left a message Thursday through the online tracking system to have someone call me and then, this Friday received a call from Terry. I could not have asked for anymore more help or professionalism from her. She answered all my questions, located my package and even went out of her way to stay after post office working hours while it was closed and allowed me to pick up my package on the dock side since I stressed how important that medication was and needed. There is no way I would of been able to make it down to chino in time before it closed coming from Redlands again. I was very thankful for all her help. It's employees like Terry who set the example of what amazing service this post office normally gives, with the exception of Amy. I understand the holidays aren't easy for the post office or any other businesses handling deliveries that are swamped but doesn't mean that professionalism and respect can't be displayed just as Terrys did. I had an appointment today at 7-12-19 9:15 for a new passport and photo I received an email to arrive 10 min early I was in by 8:50 was told to wait behind the glass doors by the p.o. box and wait till my appointment my appointment came and was still not being seen I asked 3 separate people to help me and see what's happening one lady asked why I'm standing there and told her was told to stand here and she saw it was 9:20 and that I was late and she went to the back and didn't help me and continued to help other people with there delivery I got tired of waiting and left at 9:50 with nothing they just stared at me and continue to ignore me don't ever make an appointment there's no point go somewhere else bad costumer service will never return read more

Only dropped of outgoing letters here so far. Parking is easier if you pull all the way in and take one of the last spaces near the exit instead of stopping and trying to crowd into the first few places. People always bottle up the cars coming in from Philadelphia so they don't have to walk 10 steps. We also drop of letters in the back at the drive-through boxes and only go inside if there are fewer cars in front. read more

Wish I could give it 0 stars. Every worker here needs to be fired. Every experience I've had has been TERRIBLE I leave wanting to cry. First experience was me trying to get my mailbox set up in my new house, took a month and a half to get a KEY TO MY MAILBOX. They missed every appointment made, would forget, treat me like I'm stupid and don't know what I'm talking about when every mistake was their fault. Multiple packages lost, say delivered but aren't, GOODLUCK getting a call back. I'll go in and they are no help. Today I'm looking for a package they say it's not there but they will call me, they call and say it is there 10 mins later, I say I'll be back in 1 hour to grab it they say okay. I show up, THE PACKAGE IS GONE! The person j spoke to isn't there and they said it's back on the carrier. Why is it back on the carrier if I told you I'm coming for it? Literally the most incel workers who hate their life and suck at their job. I've reported them all before and will continue to keep reporting everyone at this location til something happens. They are no help at all, worst attitudes, lazy literally every thing you can name. If you can go to a diff postal office, or use a diff mailing service all together do so. Let's add in how over night shipping is not true. Paid $40 for over night and my package is still not here after a week. I'll never use this location OR usps again. read more

This USPS Office has been at this location since the beginning of Chino's history when it catered only to a small town. So the parking is unfortunately limited. If I don't have any packages I need to mail or any stamps I need to purchase, I usually avoid parking and going inside by driving around to the back of the post office on Jefferson St. where there is a drive-thru drop off box located that the postal workers also collect from. (Much more convenient.) Also, it's a central location for most Chino residents (from Euclid Ave to East End Ave and from Phillips Blvd to Grande/Edison Ave) so it often gets busy during peak hours (lunch time and the afternoon before the last pick-up for the day). I find that every time I go here, the long lines are usually due to so many customers and not because they don't know what they're doing. Unlike what I've unfortunately encountered with the Chino Hills location---ample parking, less customers, slower service. Strangely, I've noticed that when I mail from here, my letters and packages arrive faster to my family on the east coast than when I mail from the Chino Hills location. Hmm... :-\ Overall, it's a convenient USPS location that delivers my mail to where they have to go in a reasonable amount of time. read more

The employee who greeted me said all the supervisors were in the field but he would take a message and have one of them call me back. Of course nobody called. Site says package is at local post to pick up. Not at post office. Its been over a month and no one can still find my package! Had to escalate case, dealing with investigation center now who's line is always busy and all you can do is leave a message. They do call back but it's always when I'm not available. At least at Usps 800 # I can get some info and actually talk to someone. They are very helpful and nice but apparently they don't know their own policies because I've been told contradicting things dealing with my delivery! Parking to go inside this Postal location is a nightmare. Many Yelpers have already commented and confirmed this. Prepare to wait for a spot to open if you plan to park. You could park at the Jack In the box that is nearby. That might be the only way to save some time. If you just need to drop off your letters, drive around to the back of the post office and you can find the drive-up drop box. This post office is a bit run-down. I don't prefer going here because the parking is WAY too small, the drive-thru is always backed up into the street (Walnut Ave), blocking oncoming traffic, and it's just simply not that great to look at. If I'm going to wait in line, at least paint the place and try to make it look cared for! Overall, I'll run over to this location for a quick fix, but I'd rather spend my time at the Chino Hills USPS. read more
