Ms. Keyes, the passive aggressive and hostile Manager/Clerk that hates all her customers.
    Mag M.

Ms.Keyes who is also the Manager was very passive aggressive and miserable. She was mean to me for no reason from start to finish. Not sure how she works in customer service. She was eye rolling at me the whole time. She was definitely racist to me, because she treated the customers after me different. I only asked her some legit customer questions and received no answers besides eye rolling and being told to look at it myself. I used the wrong envelope and she threw it on the table as I walked away to fill out the correct one, Express Priority. I asked if this is the smallest size since the red one has smaller. She said I can look myself. I asked her nicely nicely again, she said I can look back there and see and read what it says on the envelope. She would not answer and looked at me like it's such a stupid question each time. I was the only person there and she was not busy. I started crying because she was super mean, and I have never cried from a customer service interaction before. As people started walking in, I felt so embarrassed with tears in my eyes. She wrote her name on the receipt and said I will need it for my complaint, with a smug, I don't care look.

Fast and friendly service. No attitude unlike your normal post office. No long lines. In and out

Despite the low rating here on Yelp, I've always had a great experience coming here. The staff have…read morealways been friendly and willing to answer any questions I've had. It's also mostly empty when I arrive. If there is a line it normally moves fast. There's a huge parking lot in front of the building, and if you drive too fast you'll probably miss the entrance. I think this post office is better than the one on Gardena Blvd - That one always has a line, it can be difficult to find parking, and wait times are normally low.

I've been to this post office three times now, and unfortunately two out of the three experiences…read morehave been unpleasant. The main issue is not the process itself, it is the way customers are spoken to. I understand that employees are not expected to be overly cheerful, but there is a difference between being neutral and being condescending. On my first visit, I picked up an envelope that ended up being out of the price range I needed. When I went to put it back exactly where I found it, the employee told me in a rude tone, "that is not where you found that." It absolutely was, and I had placed it back correctly. It felt unnecessary and dismissive. During that same visit, I was filling out an envelope and asked a simple question about labeling. Instead of being helpful, I was told in a rude tone that I "could have just filled out the back." I am not familiar with USPS processes. I usually go to UPS where they handle labeling, so I was just asking for guidance. Today's visit was similar. There was no greeting, and I was told my package could not be sent as it was and that I needed a different envelope, again in a blunt and unpleasant tone. I made a small mistake on the address and mentioned I would pay for the envelope I had to redo. The response I got was, "why did you fill it out after you already stuffed it," which was not even what happened. Regardless, comments like that feel unnecessary and judgmental. For context, I am nine months pregnant and just trying to get through simple errands. I am not expecting over the top friendliness, but basic kindness and respect go a long way, especially when someone is unfamiliar with the process and simply asking for help. I will likely have to continue using this location, but I really hope there is some improvement in how customers are treated. A more respectful tone would make a big difference.

They have P.O. boxes here as well for anyone who wishes to own one. There are moments when the place is full, like around the holiday season. This is where the minor downside comes in given the lack of staff working at the front. I remember once waiting for 45 min to an hour to drop off a package and get the packing number/confirmation. But other than that, I have yet to encounter the rude employees that the other yelpers have mentioned. Maybe its because I usually go in the morning. For parking there is are 1-2 15 minute parking spots available but there are also others around the street.

I literally was just dropping it off, needing NOTHING from him, but yet he still found a way to be rude to me after he asked if I'd like a receipt and I said yeah. He literally looked like he wanted to send me to the back of the line ha. This individual should be fired for how he treats customers. There are tons of reviews on here for this exact guy saying how rude he is, why doesn't management do something about it? If this guy is mad at life, he doesn't need to be taking it out on customers. Unreal. And just to note, I've been using USPS a lot lately, and it appears to me that literally 9 out of 10 USPS employees hate their job and are always very rude to customers. It almost seems like that is a requirement in order to work there. Lol. These people literally have every holiday and the day before and the day after off, I don't understand what they're all so upset about. Not a difficult job by any means. Honestly think my cat could work there and do a better job.

US Post Office - Broken mail slot covered in caution tape like a crime scene. This has been broken for as long as I can remember.

Finally get told that they canceled all passport appointments for the next two weeks. No text, email, call, nothing. Two other people in the same boat. For something relatively time sensitive that effectively requires an appointment, how do you cancel appointments with no notice. The worst part about it is that the package slot is also broken so you can't just drop stuff off when they're closed and leave. You have to wait. It has been broken for years. Is it that hard to get some tools to fix it? The workers here are also some of the rudest people you well ever encounter and so, so slow. Do you know the sloth from Zootopia? Picture him behind bullet proof class rolling his eyes anytime you ask a question, and you have the average postal worker here. And if you want to avoid them, you can't, because guess what? Their self-service kiosk is broken too! It is sad that this is the best that can be done for our community. Nobody here cares. Everything is dirty and broken. The workers know they can't get fired so they do the bare minimum. This place makes the DMV look like Disneyland.
