All the personnel I've dealt with there are very nice, and this isn't necessarily a reflection on them. But unless you want to set aside 45 to 90 minutes waiting in line forget this place any time after 1100 in the morning. The amount of people who come to this post office to pick up a package being held, or change their addresses really bogs down the minimum number personnel that are available. If you need to mail something out, at all costs avoid get there early, or go somewhere else. read more

I would totally give this post office a -100 if I could. Seems like no one is available when you have a complaint which is pretty interesting. Doesn't seem like they can do their job right but it does seem like with how rude everyone is they don't enjoy working there. Our mail carrier in the neighborhood can't even securely lock up the boxes. So our mail has been stolen. Can't even call to complain about it. read more

I used to dread going there but now that they have gotten rid of some of the slow, grouchy employees and have a couple fresh faces in there it seems much better. Very freindly and helpful now (as long as you don't get one of the old cranky dinosaurs) I can actually get back from my lunch break on time now! Pleasant experience today. read more

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Melissa went out of her way on a Saturday morning to dig through the back warehouse to find my package that had been scheduled to be delivered several days earlier. So just talked to our mail carrier after chasing him down after he drove by the 6 mailboxes for our business building (couldn't believe not even one piece of mail to deliver on Saturday). He said he was told to bypass our boxes because 2 of the 6 said they are closed Saturday and don't want their mail delivered...but what about the other 4? That's fine if 2 don't want mail on Saturday - but our business and the one next to us depends on receiving mail on Saturday, especially when we're waiting for next day Saturday deliveries read more

I know some post offices get bad reviews, but this one is really bad. They have two people working the window, and it's a big post office. I've seen post offices that are less than a quarter this size with the same staffing. Their excuse is that it's the government's fault, but why does it affect this post office so much more than any of the other post office in the area? THIEF in this post-office. The last status of my package was "Out for delivery". The package requires the signature. But the recipient claimed the package was not delivered. The recipient talked to the post office next day after the package was "Out for delivery". But the post-office was unwilling to track down who was responsible for. They blamed the sender not insured the package. The employees were helpless, impatient, and, rude. The post-master was even ruder. He told me he was busy, it's a busy branch and lost package was likely, and, I should have insured the package. They said they would investigate and called me back. Never! So I filed the claim to USPS. One day a lady called me, who I called to her before but she never called me back as she promised. When she realized I had talk to her before. She asked another employee to talk to me. The guy threatened me to not call. When I asked his name, he hung up the phone. The package was "Out for delivery". Where was the package delivered to? It's really easy to track down who was the driver and hold the responsibility of that driver. But the post-master told me it's impossible it's his employee's fault. It sound like the issue was I didn't insure the package. Be aware if you have packaged sent to Boulder, CO 80301 and make sure they are insured because the post-office are not responsible for package lost. "Out for delivery" means package missing! read more

I agree with all these posts. The lines are to long and most clerks have a bad attitude. It is getting worse. The new tape policy for example. they want you to use express or priority service, but the new policy is not to supply any express or priority tape. Need help to tape a box, no can do. We have been instructed,{yes, we}, not to help, but do it in a pleasant way. Management has taken the service out of customer service. I know, because I used to be a happy window clerk. Now I only come up when they are very short handed. It is depressing for me because I used to love helping my customers. It has gotten me so down that I am going to hang it up this spring. My package was sent to an old address. I contacted the seller before the shipment was even sent and he contacted me back three days after the shipment. I called into customer service and got a case order so the local post office could hold my package and I could pick it up. I called the local post office because they had already attempted delivery and was forwarding it to some unknown address. The guy I spoke with stated it hasn't come back yet and he would put in a note so it can be held and they would call me to pick it up. I called back two days later because I hadn't heard anything. Only to get some rude gentleman on the phone who told me it was not their job to track packages and I can go online to track my package because that was not his job. After I explained my situation he stated he would speak with his supervisor about it. First he told me it had not come back yet. After I asked to speak with a supervisor he claimed to be one even though he just stated he just went to speak with one. After I pressed for one he finally handed me over to a lady who was not the nicest in the world and stated they had returned my package to the sender because there was no forwarding address. So I was told three different things from three different people. She stated they do not hold things even though I put in a case order requesting this before it was even delivered. Poor customer service all around. They ask who told you certain information but they do not give out their names. Overall tone was rude. They were not happy to help me at all when I first called in. They give out conflicting information. Not quick to pick up the phone at all and I doubt I ever spoke with a manager. I hope I never have to work with this postal office again because this was the worst customer service Ive ever experienced. I work at a call center and deal with nasty customers all day but I do not refuse to service them and tell them to figure it out online and state that its not my job. Horrible horrible experience. My postal carrier is either illiterate or just flat-out lazy. Maybe it's both. Since this carrier has started, mail has constantly been delivered to the wrong houses throughout the ne8ghborhood. This is a daily occurence. Roughly once a month, an item needing a signature is sent to my house. When this happens, the carrier walks up to the front door, attaches a pre-filled missed deliver slip to the front door, and leaves without ever alerting the people in the house that they were there. This exact thing happened yesterday. I went to the post office this morning and got there about 9:20AM. The piece of paper said the item would be available for pick-up after 9:00AM. The pick-up window wasn't open so I range the buzzer. Some a hole with a nasty attitude asked if I could read the sign which simply said the window was closed unless open. It didn't state hours. He specifically stated they weren't open yet, so I brought his attention the the missed delivery slip which stated any time after 9:00AM. I then pointed out the current time. Once I had my package in hand, I looked him right in the eye and told him where he could stick his attitude. If the Post Office was a privately owned business, it wouldn't exist functioning like this. I went home, filed a complaint by calling their 866 phone number, and changed all of my billing statements to electronic. It's about time the people started to stand up for themselves and stop putting up with this awful treatment and abuse that postal workers think it's okay to distribute. I will be making all my payments online or sending checks via UPS or FedEx. Since I switched to e-statements, the post office will be losing the postage from my statements. They will also be losing the postage I used to spend mailing checks for payment. I will also be sure to only order things that will be sent UPS or FedEx straight to my house since those companies know how to treat people. When a company fails, its employees are left without work. After the way I was treated, I have no moral or ethical dilemmas seeing these people jobless! I will no lager stand for the abuse of the United States Post Office! read more
