I'm constantly having problems with my mail carrier delivering to the wrong address. Every time I call and talk to Veronica she straightens things out, and finds the packages. She drove to the mailboxes and discovered that my packages were in two separate boxes, not for my address. I live in a neighborhood that has very unfriendly people, they would have kept the packages or thrown them away. Who knows what they do with them. No one has ever dropped them off at my place after noticing it wasn't their package. Thank you, Veronica, for taking the time to drive out to my place and find them before my neighbors would have come home to keep them for themselves. You went above and beyond, thank you! I have never had an issue with mail service until moving to Erie. They lose over 25% of my "delivered" packages. Antoher 25% are damaged shoved into a vox to small to fit the package or have foot prints on the package where clearly the carrier is mad. The remaining packages I have to wait for 45mins in line to be treated poorly fornpi king up soemthing that should have been delivered to my DOOR. I have opened 9 complaints against the postal service here, all the way to the State level. Nothing is ever done. This place is a joke. I finally purchased a 3rd party mailbox at the local UPS Store. Still if it has to touch the Erie postal service on the way to the box, it isnstill an issue. read more

Paid $50 online with my USPS account to ship a package to Canada. Printed out all the forms (4 pages worth) and went in to the post office to ensure I attached the proper forms to the outside of the box. I spent over 20 minutes waiting in line to ask the teller what I needed to attach. She told me I only needed to tape the proof of purchase form to the outside of the box. I did as I was told and left the package there with a very uneasy feeling. Later that afternoon, I checked to see if the package had shown up in the system, and it had not. Called the post office to ask another employee if I had done the process correctly and was told that the other forms (customs declaration and dispatch note) were also supposed to be included in a shipping envelope. THAT'S WHY I WENT AND WAITED IN LINE IN THE FIRST PLACE!!. Then, I was made to feel like I put them out of their way to hold the package overnight for me to go back to the post office and include the other forms. I've called and complained multiple times about getting my neighbors mail in my box and not getting my mail. Nothing has been done about it because it keeps happening. We've lived here for four years and never had this issue. Please actually do something about this! read more

I'D GIVE NEGATIVE STARS IF I COULD! Continually dropping the ball on package pick ups and deliveries. Latest example; gave a package with a prepaid label to the delivery driver and asked if they could take it to the post office for delivery. Two days later and the tracking number still doesn't show it as accepted to the Erie PO, much less Denver acceptance and in route to destination. Now I have to wonder if it ever made it to the Erie branch. It's shocking that there are this many terrible reviews and nothing is being done. Just an update to my one star review from a year ago. These people still have no clue what they're doing. I had a package meant for me delivered to a neighbor that had the address label perfectly legible and printed from a computer. Our neighborhood web page is constantly reporting problems with packages delivered to incorrect addresses. Complaints have gone unanswered. What more can we do?! They seem to have "lost" two packages meant to be delivered to my 9 yr old daughter for her birthday. Convenient how this happens after I lodge a formal complaint for not picking up a package arranged to be collected through usps.com. After being forced to take my package to another post office and pay more for expedited shipping, the mail collector filed a false claim that the package was picked up from my house. **Another follow up: Printed out labels for two packages to be picked up at my house. I hand delivered the two packages to the mail carrier to save the special trip to my front door as it's the busy holiday season. This was Monday (12/11). As of Friday (12/15) the packages haven't been scanned or entered the tracking system. I have customers threatening to stop payments on their purchases because of more incompetence from this location. read more

The mail staff here are nice and helpful. I've had to send two packages out. Both times I had to wait, but just one person was ahead of me. They wait wasn't too long and they answered all my questions making sure my package will get to the right place. read more

I had an expensive package from Japan that was to be delivered to my apartment and wasn't delivered because it needed to be signed for, I requested redelivery (first notice) and was at my residence all day, no knock, no phone call, no email, no delivery. I then made several phone calls to the post office only ever getting a machine to answer the phone and only able to put in service requests. Another week goes by no phone call, no email, no knock at the door. When I show up at the post office to ask about the packager I give them the tracking number and the postmaster comes up and says verbatim, "Oh yea I was gonna call you about this..." this is the worst way to tell a customer that you sent a $100+ dollar package back to a corporation in Japan basically because you felt like it. I gave them multiple avenues through which to contact me multiple times and not once did they do so. On top of all of this when I spoke to the postmaster at 11AM she was clearly under the influence, reeking of alcohol and looking in pretty rough shape. If receiving this package takes any more time or money than it has I may have to look into filing a small claims case against them. 0 stars if I could. read more

I live here 10 years and my packages and mails has lost every years at least 2..3 times. Month ago they lost my refund check. I receive my neighbors mails. Sometime my neighbors return my mails to me sometimes not. USPS administration don't care about complains. read more
