I LOVE having the ability to send off packages on my own time due to the kiosks, so that leads to be having many a-nights stopping by here, usually in the dead of night, to drop off whatever package I might have (I sell clothing online as a side hustle so I stop by here at least 3 times a week usually). But the last 3 times I've come here (so in the last week and a half/two weeks) the place where you put your package and then you push a handle up to send your package on its way, has been getting more and more broken, until I came tonight when I realized it didn't work whatsoever! So now i went out of my way to come here for absolutely no reason, and now ill have to drive another 15 min to reach a post office with a working kiosk, which btw really sucks/ is totally annoying. read more

this post office is the worst I have had to deal with. I have had mail weeks late or it never even gets to me. you try to call they do not answer, there replacement drivers can not count our spaces go from 300 to 301 to 302 and so on. we are constantly having to take the mail we got to the neighbors because the driver is delivering one house off all the way down the road. now I'm missing another credit card that was supposed to be here a week ago. I'm worried it was delivered wrong also or it was taken before it got to me. they will do nothing to fix the problem and tell us it's not them. this has been many years like this. shameful read more

Unfortunately I'm gonna have to do a rare thing and negatively update this review. For the year that I've been coming here it's usually a good amount of rudeness from the staff. This particular time, the person asked if I wanted it there by Christmas. I told him, it's ok, it won't matter. He immediately yelled back, well it won't be, and laughed with his coworkers for a good few minutes. I've been working in customer service, and I would absolutely never use that attitude to tell someone bad news. Perhaps my first review was just not a good day but I am definitely starting to see why this place only has two stars. Lisa especially seems to be very happy with being sarcastic to folks. I would recommend the Broomfield location if you can. read more

Probably one of the most unfriendly and AWKWARD USPS locations around. The men that work there are generally rude and miserable. There is one man who work there that is kind - the others are just unfriendly and odd. Robert who works the counter should not be in customer service as he is curt, lacks eye contact, and makes assumptions. He blurts at customers and should stay in the back. read more

Lisa ruined this post office for me. She gave me attitude the entire time and acted shocked when I called her out for it. By the way Lisa, my package made it Update 5/21/20: I gave this post office another chance but man what is wrong with these employees? The worker grabbed my packaged and wrote on the label that it's incorrect. I had to reprint my label because of her. These employees are sad people who take their jobs way too seriously. I'll make the drive to other locations to avoid them. read more

Going to the Lafayette post office and waiting in line can be a fun experience if you happen to be there when Bernadette is behind the counter. Bernadette keeps up a friendly patter, and if you listen in, you can hear her making sure everything is perfect for each customer. Patient and kind, she seems to love helping her customers. She's going to retire this week, and it's sad--new patrons will not know what they're missing, but those of us who have enJOYed her greetings for many years will sorely miss her. read more

My order was placed in parcel locker. The key I received was for a package that belonged to my neighbor so i delivered package to my neighbor hoping our packages were mixed up by mistake. My neighbor stated she did not have my package so I put request in to find my package. Conzuelo emailed me telling me they apologize they cannot find my package and to see if I can be reimbursed from store as they would not do anything to correct their mistake or reimburse for money lost from their mistake since they can not see who they gave the key to the locker my package was placed in. Conzuelo then tried to tell me i needed to calm down as me getting upset was not going to resolve anything l. Horrible customer service! read more

Not a fan. Flat rate padded envelope taped around a box was almost rejected. Never mind that the exact same packaging has been absolutely fine at Brighton, Westminster, Denver (multiple offices), and EVERY other post office I've dropped into for the last six months. Over 50 packages with zero problems, all delivered on time and accurately... until this post office. I had to untape the corners of my package, so now it looks like a pillow with ragged corners instead of a smooth and professional looking box. I taping the corners let me prove that it did indeed fit the envelope without needing tape, and then the postmaster finally accepted it, especially since I reminded him the the post office advertises these as "if it fits, it ships." If they don't want you putting any kind of box in the flat rate padded envelopes, they should state that in the terms and conditions... but this issue is only a Lafayette issue, seems to me. Now I have a flat rate envelope with exposed flaps that looks horribly unprofessional, on its way to my customer. To make matters worse, the clerk was loud and vocal about how I had "modified the package" when she first rejected it, and announced loudly that she would need to upcharge me. In front of other customers. As if I was trying to pull a fast one, and she wanted everyone to know she'd caught me in the act. The postmaster was better, because he at least behaved with decorum, but he should have just taken one look at the package and informed her of her mistake, not come out to try to tell me I needed to pay more. I shouldn't be more informed than the postmaster. At least they took the package in the end. They did say sorry to my departing back. I will be watching tracking very carefully. I'm glad I don't live here and that I won't need to ever see these people again if I can help it. read more

I created a birthday card for my mother using colored pencils. Having never been to the post office in Lafayette, I was relieved to run into a worker in uniform out on errands. She assured me she would take care of it, so I handed it to her. It felt nice to have that personable touch. After three weeks, my mother still hasn't received my card. read more

Bernadette is almost always here when I stop by to buy all my postage for postcards. She is always happy to help, even when the lines are long! Be sure not to come first thing when they open. There is always a crowd waiting outside. I have better experiences in the mid afternoon sometime after lunch. read more

This is the worse post office I have been to. Try to call them and it automatically hangs up. Call customer service just gives the same updates and tells u to go to the website. No human at the other end to try and track a lost package. The USPS is a joke and they want to handle millions of ballots. They should be replaced with private business. read more

I've had good and bad experiences here. The people that work the desk are nice and they keep the line moving. The reason I came to write a review today is because I've just dealt with my second instance of theft related to this branch. The first time it happened, I had mailed my cousin some posters that she saw at a shop in Boulder. She sent me money to go buy them for her and ship them to her. I bought a cardboard poster tube from the post office, stuck them in there, and mailed them. Word of advice: ALWAYS tape up your poster tube. It arrived to her house in Fort Worth empty. Now for the second time...my husband has been wanting Sylvion the card game, so we ordered it off of Amazon the other day for it to arrive today. He was willing to go buy it at the store and go through the hassle and extra expense, but we eventually decided to buy it online. The envelope arrived today and was cut open with what looks like a blade, and completely empty. Why the delivery driver would deliver an obviously opened and empty envelope is beyond me. This is not even the first time we've received a package that was already opened from USPS (the first time being a box from amazon with grass seed in it - the box was opened but I guess they realized they didn't want to steal grass seed). Since this is now the second instance of theft I've encountered this year from USPS, I can only assume that the thief works at the Lafayette branch. Since absolutely nothing came of my complaint the first time around, and the insurance conveniently doesn't cover theft, I'm here to warn you to not waste your hard earned money and go with UPS or FedEx, or any other private company that won't steal your stuff. USPS - you should really put some surveillance cameras in your sorting room and actually monitor them. read more

Not sure why this post office has such short hours on Saturday. I get a notice that a package has been delivered On Friday the day before. However the slip does not end up in my box until Monday. I always check after the post office right before closing on Saturday's. I work during the week (not in Lafayette) and cannot get packages until Saturday... Please help fix this issue.. They totally ignored a change of address and it cost me BIG TIME!!! Going through this again and it is starting all over again! It is now 6 days beyond when mail was supposed to be forwarded and guess what....mail is still being delivered to my old address!!! read more

Lafayette Post Office has hands down, the best service ever!! They were able to find a letter I sent by accident and delivered it directly to my door!! When calling the post office with my issue I was directed to the appropriate supervisor immediately and within the hour they had found my letter! I have never had this kind of service anywhere let alone the post office! read more

The slowest people on Earth work here and they are always understaffed. If you are 4th in line,plan on waiting 20-30mins. I'm not kidding

This is the worst post office I've ever visited. The line is out the door most days and it's no surprise. The workers here are painfully slow and not particularly knowledgeable, especially when it comes to international shipping. It took the clerk over 35 minutes to enter 5 boxes into the system for shipping the last time I was here while the line behind me collectively groaned. Save yourself the hassle and go to the one in Louisville. read more

I went in to send a package via Express and only had a wait a few minutes. Several people arrived behind me and another worker came out front to speed up the line. Although the lady wasn't the most cheerful in the world, she was quick, efficient, and said thank you after I was done. Overall no complaints. read more

The lady here, call out a guy. Yelling at him telling him it wasn't the line for passport and as he was trying to tell her he wasn't in line for a passport, she rudely interrupted and repeated herself. So he turns around in embarrassment and says I'm not in line for a passport. On the other hand we were, we apparently signed the wrong sheet and she yells at us telling us we used the incorrect form and quickly grabs the correct sheet and tosses it to us.
