New owners raised prices, dirty. Washers and dryers don't work. Good place to get lice and fleas and have your clothes " lost". Next door pedicure rags get dried in dryers without machine washing... dryers stink and it smells like a swamp sprayed with cheap perfume in there. Don't get their wash and fold delivery service, your clothing will magically disappear. Get yourself your own washers and line dry folks, the greedies keep coming. Also an abundance of broken glass ( pipes?) on floor and in dryers... also, candy and toy machines don't work, don't put your money here. Good thing they have a gambling machine to keep all the homeless occupied. read more

Brought in some custom long sleeve shirts to have laundered, pressed, and put on hangars. Price and turnaround time was very reasonable. Additionally the location is somewhat close for me. I am loving how sweet and friendly this location is managed! Came in to try and launder a king comforter and was very happy to hear a great price and attention to detail. The laundry mat has many machines, is VERY CLEAN, has a TV set and desk counter to drop off laundry if you don't want to do it yourself. I came to the laundry mat because of the great reviews on Yelp for the first time. When I was waiting to get some change, the owner repeatedly chastised a customer in front of me on how she should deal with stains on her clothing immediately rather than waiting. I should have taken my cue to leave then. I spent 15 minutes organizing and stacking change that I needed for additional washes on a counter out of anyone's way (there were no further customers coming in at that point). I had already used 80+ quarters of my own that I had brought in. She watched me count and stack everything and when I was completely done she proceeded to lecture me that she was not a bank and that I needed to sort my money in advance and put them into baggies. Further, I needed to plan in advance to go to the laundry mat and telling me that I did not need quarters because she saw that I had some quarters. The audacity that she knows anything about my life, my time, my needs was unfathomable. Unbelievably, she dumbfounded as to why I was upset. My response: Because you literally watched me waste my time only to proceed to hassle me that you were not going to give me change to put in your washing machines! If you had a policy of not making change, you could have said so from the start instead of watching me count out about $10-12 in change organizing it to make it super easy to change out. As a middle-aged person, I can confidently say that this was the worst customer experience I have ever had at a laundry mat in all of my life and I have lived all over the country. I proceeded to take the remainder of my business to a laundry mat 1 block south. "Sweet and friendly" this place is not. It is never okay to treat your customers in this manner. I will not be browbeaten to do laundry! Suffice it to say, I will NEVER return. This is one of the closest laundry mats to me, but I will drive 1 block further or even a few miles further than ever return to this establishment. read more

I have been coming to countryside coin laundry for several years. The laundromat s always clean and safe. The cost to do my laundry is always very reasonable, the owner is always there, and she is always willing to help with advice on cleaning your clothes. I would not go anywhere else here in Lafayette. This is the worst dry cleaner I have ever used. The woman quoted me a price to clean my comforter and then when I picked it up, it looked exactly the same. Same stains from baby spitting up on it. I proceeded to complain and the woman argued with me saying I was cheap and should have paid to have them dry clean the comforter rather than wash it. She actually went off on me! If they had recommended that service I would have paid for it!! Don't use them...you've been warned. read more

I take big, bulky items several times a year, and recently did a huge amount of laundry for an ill person. A friend who helped with this huge "wash day event" was so impressed that she said she'd come from Arvada whenever big machines are needed. I have always had a good experience here...good, clean, new machines. The owner is always helpful. I go on weekdays early to avoid crowds. There are coffee shops nearby too, which makes doing laundry a more palatable chore. Although I've never paid to have my laundry done, the clothes I see hanging and folded ( that they do) look really nice. If I were going to hire this job out, this is where I would take it. read more
