Our dryer broke a couple days before we were leaving on vacation. We needed to get our laundry done so we went to Soapy Jane's. Last time I was at a laundry mat was when I was in college so I didn't have very high expectations. I was pleasantly surprised when I walked in. It was very clean, with rows and rows of washers and dryers. Different sizes of washers, depending on our needs. All machines took quarters or use of a app- It was much more expensive than I expected but the process and time spent at Soapy Jane's was painless. If I ever need a laundry mat again, I'll definitely come back to Soapy Jane's. read more

My husband and I are elderly and partially disabled. We have a very old washing machine and no dryer so sometimes the laundry gets away from us we always take it to Soap jane's. They always get it done perfectly, including without any fabric softener with fragrance. That affects our allergies. The workers are very kind and patient. read more

Depending on what area I was in, this is one of the 2 laundromats I would drive out of my way to go to in order to take care of my laundry needs. Have used this laundry mat several times in the last few years because of how well it was taken care of. Not anymore. I will think twice before returning. Wish I would have taken a few pics. The floor was disgusting and nothing was wiped down. Laundry soap all over the top of the machines and the inside doors looked like they hadn't been wiped down in sometime. I have had to use laundromats in many different cities and states. I prefer to do my laundry at home however my dryer recently broke and I was dreading going to a laundromat. Honestly I just chose the closest one to my house because if you have been to one you have been to them all, or so I thought. Soapy Jane's instantly changed my thoughts completely. It is the cleanest, brightest and most efficient laundromat that I have ever been to. The staff is hardworking and incredibly friendly. All of the change machines work as did every washer and dryer. I have actually totaled it to where if I go once a week that I will be saving money by not doing it at home. The best part is that I can do it all at once. Nancy and her co-worker did a very nice thing for me. They washed two blankets that I had in the washing machine and left because of Mike is now warm stays warm every night thank you so be James thank you Nancy and thank you entire crew you guys do a great job. I would go anywhere else to wash my guts a sudden emergency. They didn't know was that the blanket was for a homeless individual sometimes doesn't have the sense to get out of the cold on his own. Now this place is called "Soapy Janes". We went there in hopes of getting a bunch of laundry done FAST, unfortunately the oversize dryers are clogged with lint and don't dry very well, which makes it neither quick nor inexpensive! Unfortunately, the lady who works there seemed to be more interested in smoking cigarettes then cleaning the dryers. They get warm, but there is no airflow! Having worked as a field technician servicing dryers, I guarantee this thing is clogged with lint. :/ read more

Drop off customers Beware! If you drop off laundry be sure to tell them NO FABRIC SOFTENER. They use it by default. They did a large blanket for me. The smell when I took it out of the bag was so strong I couldn't keep it in the house. When I brought it back they were nice about it and washed it again, for free. Great. However it still was too fragrant. I put it in my own washer with a whole gallon of vinegar, let it soak and washed it again. Still unpleasantly fragrant. That stuff does not come out.
