Lots of washers and dryers. Clean environment. Not very comfortable if you sit and wait.

Visiting my son at CU Boulder and decided to do his laundry for him while he was at class. This place is sufficient for a laundromat and has what you'd expect/need: plenty of machines (almost all were operational), lots of counter space for folding, plenty of laundry carts, a quarter machine, laundry detergent products, basic reading materials like magazines. There was a woman there constantly wiping down the machines and sweeping the floors and tending to the trash so it's pretty clean and well-maintained. Also, it's in a good location. A plaza with plenty of parking, a bank (ATM), coffee shop, and a couple places to eat. Only negative comment: I feel $3.50 per wash is a bit expensive. I haven't been to a laundromat in years so maybe this is the going rate, but just seemed high to me. read more

I used to live in NYC and I hated doing laundry there. I've recently relocated to Boulder and I cannot tell you how easy it is to use the machines here. 1) The place is empty. 2) There is a machine available that sells laundry detergent (75 cents for Tide) and fabric softener/dryer sheets. There are also two quarter change machines, so don't worry about coins. 3) For one regular load of washing, it costs $2.25. The machine asked for another 25 cents, I'm not sure why, but I paid it. The washing machine works for 26 minutes. 4) For one load of drying, it costs 25 cents for 6 minutes. I put in 5 quarters for 30 minutes of drying. 5) If you have towels or sweaters, I would recommend at least 36 minutes or more of drying...or you can just bring laundry back and sun dry it. This has been the most pleasant laundromat experience I have ever had in my whole life. I was also able to eat my breakfast sitting out watching the Flatirons while waiting for my clothes to wash. I highly recommend this laundromat if you're near Downtown Boulder. read more

I repeatedly had the WORST customer service here. Two loads of my laundry literally caught on fire and they tried to blame me for both loads being burnt to a crisp. I never, ever write poor reviews because truly I do rarely have truly bad customer service but I will say- very, very disappointing experience. I lost two loads of clothes that I wear to work to make a living and hours of my time without any reimbursement for either. Do not go here! read more

Another thrilling story from the life of Harmony.... Although I've got my own washer & dryer and don't need laundromats much, my son & his girlfriend don't have a laundry room in their current apartment building, and this is their laundromat of choice. They've been into the New York City lifestyle (sans car) ever since they moved back here from Brooklyn; so I drive them to do their laundry on the weekends. There's something in it for me: I get to enjoy a nice leisurely breakfast or lunch with them while their laundry is in. I am impressed with this laundromat. It is always super clean...even the bathroom. The wall has a nature mural which fills the whole lengthwise span of the building. I like it. There's a new tile floor recently. The machines are excellent. There are comfy chairs, and lots of magazines & such to read. And plenty of carts with the nice racks on top to put your clothes on hangers when they're done drying. If you don't like the swarming weekend crowds of scenesters out front at the many cafes in Community Plaza, there's a choice of sitting at a few of the lone, stark tables scattered on the Plaza's long, narrow back patio, where it's gloriously quiet & uncrowded. Today I was thinking, if I needed to use a laundromat in Boulder, I would definitely choose this one! read more

I've always liked this laundromat. Very clean and the mural is pretty. Today I accidentally pushed the temp button on wrong dryer up top that was broken and asked attendant if I could get a refund. She told me "you need to focus on your laundry and its your responsibility". Not totally rude but definitely not helpful. Maybe shes teaching me a valuable life lesson? She could see dryer was broken and how much $ I had put in. Also worth mentioning about 3-4 dryers broken and attendant was using about 3/4 of available dryers. Responses like this to customer in any establishment turns me off. Folsom St Laundry is nice too. The owner is always on hand and has been helpful in the past. read more

I've used this laundromat several times over many years and it's always been a good experience. The place is CLEAN! and the washers are in good shape. The extractor is a plus for some heavy items. It's in a great location with Breadworks and Vics a couple doors down. 5 stars if they would offer wi-fi. read more

This laundromat has only ONE large washing machine. All the others are the size of a standard home front loader and do not spin enough water out. Also, their drop-off price for bedding is very high, not the $1.15/pound they charge for other items. PROS: Very clean, good change machines, all the machines work, nice location, excellent attendant. CONS: Only one large washing machine, weak machines, minimal, super basic seating, CANNOT handle large items such as comforters AT ALL. read more

Pro Tip - if you line dry your clothes, use the extractor!

Clean and nice, attentive management. Want to give them 4 stars for such limited hours for drop off/pickup for wash&fold services. Only essentially 10-5 MTWTh, (Which person who works regular shifts can do that?) And one time I left some clean folded sheets on the counter that did not fit in my laundry bag, and (my bad) left without them, I came back the next night and left a sticky note to call me. I came by twice and noone there, called another time, and then the 5th day later, came by and the very pleasant woman picked up my note and said they hadn't seen my sheets. But -- noone ever called me and I contacted them 4 times! But, if you sit by your machines and then put them in the dryer, this place is very clean, relatively well priced (think $5 for a big load for wash/dry), and is proximate to nice diners and a pricey but good bakery. So, for that -- 5 stars. read more

I live a couple of miles away and have my own washing machine but always come here when I have a bunch of sheets and comforters or just a very large load of laundry to do. This place is by far the very best coin laundry in Boulder. It is always very clean, the machines are modern and high quality and did I mention clean!? Wash-O-Mat has always been a good and actually relaxing experience. They also have a reliable drop off service that I've used a couple of times which was fairly priced and very convenient. read more

It was clean, like the other reviews said. BUT, I spent $40 on 7 loads of laundry the other night. Their dryers weren't working correctly and the washers asked for more money than was displayed. I was NOT impressed and fairly irritated to say the least. I spent 2.5 hours there and still have wet laundry hanging around my place to dry. This was the ultimate rip off and I would not suggest anyone use this laundromat!! I use ones in Lafayette, which are less expensive and their dryers work super well! read more
