Called for fingerprinting and the person on the other line did everything they could the make me feel like an idiot. 1. Their system is down but then 2. Gave me information the is no where accessible on the FBI website. Awesome. Clearly the person on the other line hates their job and only works to make sure people know it and don't show up at their location. Mission accomplished. These people are terrible. Absolutely the worst post office ever completely unprofessional and rude as hell with no common sense or acknowledgment to any of the customers problems. The Supervisor isn't any better in fact she's probably the worst one because not only does she let her employees treat customers with disrespect and unprofessionalism she does it herself. Unknowledgeable Staff. Terrible Customer Service. Long waits. 1.) Unknowledgeable Staff: An employee didn't know the difference between a letter and a package. I brought in a card with a pin inside the envelope, ready to post and she told me it would be $.70 based on the weight. I had to send 40 cards, so I bought 40 x 70-cent stamps. Next day, a different employee said each card would be $3.00 because of the thickness. "Are you F-in kidding me?", I thought. Even though her colleague made the error, neither she nor the supervisor would issue a refund, so I had to by $2.30 stamps x 40 at the electronic machine, because they couldn't figure it out. Plus, I could only purchase electronic stamps in batches of 5, because that's all the machine could handle. [Face palm]. 2.) Terrible Customer Service: When a customer gives you the opportunity to fix your mistake, take it. It gives you a chance to do the right thing and show everyone waiting that you value customer service and want to improve your public relations image. If you don't know something, ask a supervisor. Don't sell me the wrong postage because you don't know any better and then hide behind your "no refunds" policy. I don't want my tax dollars funding laziness and ineptitude in employees or their supervisors. 3.) Long waits: I expect having to wait a while at the Post Office, especially around the holidays, but sending all 3 Tellers on their 10-min breaks while 15 people wait in the lobby is ridiculous. Someone in line eventually asked aloud, "Why is the Post Office losing money?", to which all 15 of us laughed. Someone could have robbed the place. Idiots. The only other US Post Office that has offered me a worse experience was the Civic Center San Francisco Post Office, where homeless people were smoking crack in the lobby. I kid you not. Wasted almost 3 hours trying to get fingerprints for FBI background check. After a 30 minute drive and an hour wait inside the building Maria attempted to take my fingerprints for almost 20 minutes and ended with charging me $50 and telling me "she thought it went through". Well, it didn't and now I'm out $50 and a large portion of a work day. I was never contacted for follow up (she made a copy of the FBI order form and was supposed to reprocess in case it didn't go through), and I have to take more time away from work to do the process all over again... Huge disappointment for something very straightforward. read more

Unfriendly service, except for the young lady that was pleasant to speak with. I only went here for convenience.

Called to report mail on top of community boxes, on the ground etc. mail delivered to boxes not even in the area. Was questioned my address and phone number etc even though I gave them the location of the community mailboxes. Got hung up on. And you want to know why people are not using the postal service. I was in yesterday and I filed a complaint online here, and then after I complained about management I could not believe I got to see t in person. The manager was called for help and when he came up only after the front staff worked asked a women for help and she said she had to go and answer the phone -was a pathetic excuse of I don't know I just work here. So the manager was asked to come up and he did, his name Jeremy Samora Mgr. Post office Broomfield, CO. , the worker asked him to help make sure everyone had everything in order because the PO was poorly stocked and confusing that it was hard making sure people had everything they needed to mail the packages correctly and there was no help to ask. The line was 9 deep for half an hour while I was there maybe longer, and this manager acted like he didn't know anything and that it was above him to come up and help at the counter to the customers that pay his paycheck! So he was going to go to the back and grab extra priority labels because there was none outside to properly attCh to customer boxes and he never came back. When he went to back every after seeing all of us, you think he would have been in a little rush or walk fast no, this guy was more concerned with protecting his cigarettes and lighter in his pocket while grabbing his keys to get in the back. Don't go here. Period. Drive your mail to Louisville or Broomfield's city center post office. Don't leave your mail in any box outside or in neighborhoods that use this office for pickup. They have lost several packages and delivery sorting at this facility is random and sloppy. I have not received several important pieces of mail the past couple of years. read more

Quite possibly one of the worst customer service experiences I've ever had. And it is consistently awful. Staff didn't complete the process to open my PO box and for a week they were returning my mail as box closed left no forwarding address. They absolutely refused to give my son a package addressed to him even after he showed his picture ID to them. Is that even legal? Refused for two days to give me a package that tracking showed had been delivered to this location. Consistently rude. Just rude for no reason. It's sad to say but if I ran this post office I would fire the entire staff and start over. Just go to another post office. There are at least two others very close by. I'm sure off the job these are good people. They are just not good at this job. read more

This post office should be shut down. If I could give negative stars I would do so. Worst experience ever and I will shut down my PO Box online once I am able to do so. Of course a BS system error. They have lost multiple packages and are unwilling to help with any information to track these down. I will NEVER return back to this sad location. I had to ship an overnight package during my lunch break and I was in and out in less than 5 minutes! I also should mention that it's Dec.14 so the post office was busy with Christmas packages going out!! I was greeted by a great employee, Sara, who guided me and helped me get my package squared away and she got me out the door in less than five minutes. She was very nice and extremely helpful, which is very welcomed at the post office during this time of year. Best post office experience I've ever had. read more

This post office is doing everything they can to put me out of business. I have had a P.O. box here for years. In the last few months, they have decided that they are unable to put the mail in the box and are returning it to the sender or simply losing it completely. So far this month they have lost over $5k in checks. Today is the 23rd. These checks were mailed before the 1st. I am now forced to go back to the people who owe me money and beg them to write another check and UPS or FedEx it to me at my expense. The people behind the counter at this Post Office are incompetent and stupid, at best. I am going to a different post office as soon as I can sort this mess out. They are impossible to deal with, and they simply don't care about anything. read more

Went in for a simple mail forwarding request and talked to one woman who was busy when I went back up to the counter after filling out a form. So I talked to another literally steps away and the other woman completely ignored my whole conversation with this woman. DO NOT GO HERE! Mind you she was yelling at two older ladies moments before it was my turn and making them sound stupid for not knowing proper mailing procedures. All in all, NOTHING GOT SORTED OUT AND I WAS TOLD THAT THERE'S NOTHING I CAN DO. It really could've been a simple adjustment if those two women today just did their damn job. This isn't the first time they've been ungodly rude and disrespectful to myself and other customers. I mailed several boxes of books, all media mail, from this location, as shipper and addressee (I was moving to a new state). When several of the boxes didn't arrive, I checked the tracking numbers to find that they were "in transit". I filed a search for each missing box online at usps.com, and only then learned that those boxes had "burst" in the Broomfield facility and that the contents - thousands of dollars of out-of-print books - were lost. Since media mail is not insured, I will not be compensated for the loss. On the mailing label of every box I shipped I included my home address and my phone number, yet the Broomfield post office, and indeed no post office employee, ever contacted me about the "burst" boxes until after I filed the tracking searches. Called after my package had been "out for delivery" for two weeks. Angela there was extremely rude and called me obnoxious when I asked about finding other ways to get my package and/or contacting the driver and she told me it was none of my business to figure out how MY time sensitive package as supposed to get into MY hands. She was extremely rude, I do not understand how the way she talked to me and treated me was acceptable in any business and how it was "none of my business" to figure out how I was supposed to get my package.
