Ship your products with a different UPS store! It is very clear that the staff are not well trained. They over charged me by not cutting down a huge box, thus costing more than it should and then shipped all my Christmas presents in a $2 box instead of the almost $20 box we agreed on. My Christmas gifts arrived at their destination in rough condition based on the cheap box that was selected without my knowledge. I have emailed the store twice now with no response. I had a purchase to return to a sender and was dropping off the item and shipping label. There were two gentlemen inside when I walked in, and neither actually greeted me. The younger one said, "I'll get you right here." I told him I was dropping off a package and shipping label, and he did what he needed to do on the machine before asking if I wanted a receipt. Without thinking I said no, but before leaving I asked if the "receipt" was the tracking number so I could follow when my item arrived to its destination. The guy had taken my stuff to the back, so the second guy said, "Did he not give you a receipt?" I told him I didn't realize that was the tracking sticker and *would* like that. He seemed bothered to help but reprinted the sticker. As I waited, I heard the first guy that helped me talking to another guy just away from the desk about football, and the other guy was dropping so many F-bombs. What UPS store allows employees to talk like this with customers inside? This is the first time I've ever been to this location but likely will be the last. I've never encountered something like this at any UPS store before. I got my package shipped out, which is what I needed, but yikes at the experience otherwise. read more

Horrible service, came in to ship out some packages prior to closing, arrived at 6:25 they close at 6:30. Employee was dismissive and reminded me that they are "technically closed". Wow, didn't UPS employees just get a huge raise from striking? read more

Stopped by this UPS location in Hope's of getting some help shipping fresh baked cookies. Barb greeted me and I threw myself on her mercy, never having shipped perishables before. She expertly packaged and wrapped my goodies while I watched. The store itself offers an amazing bundle of services including the pack and ship option I was using. I think my favorite part was when she added the packing peanuts. They have a machine that drops them into the boxes, and it was like watching your favorite gumball machine unloading! Barb was friendly and efficient, and handled my care box with care. I highly recommend this UPS store for any of your shipping needs. P.S. They also accept Amazon Prime returns! read more

I needed something notarized so I could get hired at my new job. I made an "appointment" but still stood in line for 10 minutes. When I got to the desk, the man working told me that he couldn't notarize it because I had already signed it - I didn't know this but he sent me off because of this. I understand he can't break the law, so I drove home, drove back with a new UNSIGNED paper and he said "our notary ends at 3, but I'll make an exception". Luckily he did notarize it but honestly some of the worst customer service - so unhelpful and unfriendly. Very frustrated. read more

Don't do print orders at this store. Paid for online prints that they were unable to print because "the machine they were sent doesn't work", I wasn't notified, I've called several times trying to get my money back and now they're not answering my calls. read more

Having UPS at HWY 287 is like having our own personal office staff. Whether it be - mailings - copy needs- packaging/shipping -- Shree and the rest of the folks are simply great. I'm a huge UPS fan, but I'd suggest everyone avoid this location. The store never has more than one employee on any particular day or shift. One employee is particularly rude and short tempered. The older blonde women snaps at customers, complains, and seems uninterested in delivering proper customer service. The store is regularly messy and unorganized. Lots of half finished projects. I'm a corporate customer of UPS. I'll keep using the shipper, but I'll drive the extra mile to use a different location from now on. read more

The staff always seems overwhelmed whenever I've visited the store. Tonight was no exception. When I walked into the store, I saw three customers and an employee. The employee, in a frantic tone, said she could take drop off packages. I asked if she would print a label and she said that it would take 20 minutes. Avoid this location! The young man that works there is consistently surly and difficult to work with. He has no concept of customer service, is overtly disrespectful, and clearly seems inconvenienced by anything that takes him away from his social media. I tried twice to drop off a Dyson vacuum to be shipped for warranty service, and got a lecture about how screwed up Dyson is and how I would have to wait 2 hours until his system got the download from Dyson. And then I listened to his abuse of the Dyson representative as they tried to work out the issue. Amazingly, the Winchester UPS store had none of these issues. I recommend you drive the few extra miles it takes to go to another location. It will save you both time and stress. read more

My office is around the corner from this store. I ran out of spiral binding combs and need to ship some manuals today. I called and the guy said they have them in stock but would have to charge me $10 for five plastic combs. They typically retail for .25 - .50 cents. Needless to say, I'm driving to FedEx Office to pay $2.50 where I'm sure I'll buy some other things just because I'm in the store. Pretty sad, they could've gained a customer by helping me when I was in a bind. read more

Went to drop off a package. I was given 2 choices for the return label by the company I was sending it back to. I chose the UPS label. I took the package to this store and he proceeds to tell me that they don't take USPS. So I thought I put the wrong one on. I start to leave when I notice I have the right label on it. I go back to him and say I have the right label. He said it not the right UPS label. He would not take the package. He then starts being really rude saying that I don't need to argue with him. I was simply pointing out that the label said UPS. I ended up going back home and put the USPS label on it. The post office took it no problem. I will recommend to everyone I know not to use this store. read more
