I think they could pack eggs and have them show up unbroken 3,000 miles later. They partner with Yellow Freight which brings the cost to half of what other shippers charge (who use various mail services). When Yellow Freight forgot to scan the four handmade box crates in Chicago (apparently quite unusual) and we weren't sure where they were, Scott offered to call Yellow Freight and described the crates so that could be more easily found. Everything arrived in perfect order and the boxes & inserts that Scott made were amazing. This is a family business, run by Scott and his wife, and they care about what they do. It shows.

They've done right by me since I moved to West Hartford, giving me a secure location to pick up packages and mail as things like that have a tendency to disappear from porches and mailboxes in this town. Thanks to PakMail, I've never once lost a package. An excellent facility to ship from, the staff is courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. Locally owned and operated, too. Support your local small businesses. If you need a mailbox that's secure, I recommend this one.

Despite the high volume of customers and the rush, he remained efficient, professional, and attentive to each person's needs. I was second in line, and my brief transaction was handled seamlessly. Managing such a large number of customers individually while maintaining an efficient flow is no small task, and he handled it exceptionally well. This is a very convenient location if you're in West Hartford, they also have plenty of parking available. It of course depends on when you're going, if it'll be a long wait or a quick and easy run. Most of the time if I'm mailing a package within the US, it's a very quick and painless process, but If it's an international package, they'll want me to get out of line to fill out a customs form, then come back to the counter. Meanwhile all the people in line are looking at me as if I'm getting special treatment. Try to avoid purchasing boxes or padded envelopes at the post office, these are significantly overpriced, and they can be found at many other places at a much lower cost. I can't say the lady I encountered working there today was the most pleasant, she said to me "so many people here give me anxiety.." I'm not sure how to react to this, post offices are very busy and people can get moody. This is a post office, you can get your passport here and you can purchase stamps. It serves its purpose, some packages are very expensive to mail out, but I can't blame the post office for that.
