I stopped by Staples in Simsbury to print some end of the school year materials. One of the items I…read moreneeded to get printed was on a flash drive. There was a very nice gentleman named Adam who printed these colorful cards for me. They had a watermark, that he asked if I'd like it removed, I told him yes please and he did. I was very happy with the service I received from Adam. The other thing I needed printed was some pictures off my email. Sadly Adam was gone, a young girl who looked to be about 17 took his place. I emailed them the pictures and I explained to her that the pictures should be small, and several of them can fit on one page. She said they "can't do that". There were a lot of pictures, that were also printed on fancy hard stock paper, that was completely unnecessary. It is so wasteful to print one small picture in the center of a full sheet of paper. The total came to $68.00, that's completely ridiculous. She called the manager over, who offered to give me $10.00 off. That's still robbery. I didn't get the pictures. Teacher's personal budgets don't expand very far as it is. Adam was very friendly, personable and helpful. The other associate was none of those things. At Staples you can find anything you may need for your office or classroom.

I have seen a young kid with a mustache consistently treat specific customers in a very rude way…read more.. not looking them in the eyes, when they say thank you he doesn't say anything back. He brushes them off then interacts with other customers. Today was the second time I saw this. He's super rude, at first I thought it was just that one particular person, but he did it to someone else who looked exactly the same. Prejudice in the workplace is not a cool thing. I guess I have to drive farther for another location, I can't support that type of business.

I neglected to notice the associate's name, but he was very friendly, courteous, and efficient. He made polite conversation as he quickly processed the return which made my experience a very good one. Though I can save time going to other locations, I prefer to bring my returns and the packages I need to ship here.
