When Yellow Freight forgot to scan the four handmade box crates in Chicago (apparently quite unusual) and we weren't sure where they were, Scott offered to call Yellow Freight and described the crates so that could be more easily found. Everything arrived in perfect order and the boxes & inserts that Scott made were amazing. This is a family business, run by Scott and his wife, and they care about what they do. It shows.

I walked inside, there was a long line of about 15 people. I waited. My transaction was simple. I hand them my item, and show them the return code. They also sell some basic office and shipping supplies here, which were a bit difficult to access because there are so many boxes in the way. This UPS store will get the job done, but accessing it in this area is a bit more of an effort then it should be. I prefer to go to different location.

It's annoying if they're waiting for me to scroll through my emails. I show them the code, they scan it, I get the receipt, and shortly after I get the conformation email. It couldn't be simpler. The associates are friendly and their goal is to make the process quick and smooth, and that's exactly what it is.

She was disorganized and seemingly in no rush, in spite of a huge line and only one other employee behind the counter. She was working with a customer when I arrived, and when it was my turn I assumed I'd be next, but she took a couple who were 15 minutes late for their appointment instead. Fortunately for me, this turned out to be a good thing, because two other employees magically returned from lunch and I was assigned to one of them. A signature that is not mine was documented, even though it was dropped in my locked mailbox. The package that was inside my locked mailbox was ripped open and contexts removed. Who could have ripped and removed the contents? Is it a coincidence that the item was also signed for someone that is not me and the delivery person left it in my mailbox he had the master key to? If you are ordering something expensive from outside the US, ensure it is not delivered by this location. Per customs the item contents and amount has to be declared on the label.
