They partner with Yellow Freight which brings the cost to half of what other shippers charge (who use various mail services). When Yellow Freight forgot to scan the four handmade box crates in Chicago (apparently quite unusual) and we weren't sure where they were, Scott offered to call Yellow Freight and described the crates so that could be more easily found. Everything arrived in perfect order and the boxes & inserts that Scott made were amazing. This is a family business, run by Scott and his wife, and they care about what they do. It shows.

We explained our mission to the attendant and shared our e-mail with the account number and shipping address, etc. As always, my wife was super nice and courteous, but we were both struck by the robotic cold fish demeanor of the lady that expedited for us. I walked around the store, saw their huge printing operation and inventory of office supplies stocked on shelves and racks -this is a very cool place to do business in or browse around. It definitely doesn't look like a post office, tucked next to a United Bank in a building next to Max Burger. For how small the post office is, it actually has all the amenities and services of any other post office. They have self-service machines in the vestibule for packages and large drop boxes, so you can avoid the line or complete your post office needs in off-hours. Service is actually fantastic; everyone I've interacted with have been super friendly. I was hesitant to go to this post office because of potential parking issues, but I found out that they actually have a lot behind the building.

A signature that is not mine was documented, even though it was dropped in my locked mailbox. The package that was inside my locked mailbox was ripped open and contexts removed. Who could have ripped and removed the contents? Is it a coincidence that the item was also signed for someone that is not me and the delivery person left it in my mailbox he had the master key to? If you are ordering something expensive from outside the US, ensure it is not delivered by this location. Per customs the item contents and amount has to be declared on the label.
