I went to the first open register area, handed the USPS worker my box and asked for a receipt. She quickly provided me one and we wished each other a good day. First of all the woman told me I needed to label my box when in fact, I didn't need to because I had a customs form. She also assumed Korea meant NORTH KOREA -- in what world can you mail something to a closed communist country? So I got out of the line and then had to start over with a new attendant who yelled at me because I asked her if she knew which of the options had tracking. She said she didn't know, which appalled me. Anyway the two women who work there are so rude, they act like they hate their lives. Nailing something globally - 2 pounds for express cost $88. I'm going to a private mailer next time. You try to support govt workers and this is what you get. This is also the only post office that takes an hour lunch break and is closed from 2-3. Google, directions to a Post Office near me. This one is in the cut, like in its own little cul-de-sac. If I was driving and looking, I never would have found it. Plenty of parking spaces and looked well maintained from the outside. Even when going inside, it was orderly. There was a gentleman at the window and about four people in front of me. The postal employee was explaining to the gentleman that she needed to know the country where the package was going. He didn't seem to understand, and they were both getting frustrated. The gentleman finally asked for the supervisor. The supervisor came out and handled the situation with professionalism. She explained to the gentleman that he had to complete another slip for his package; it required more detailed information. After that was settled, the line moved fairly quickly. I like that these employees actually had on Post Office attire/uniforms and they were speaking to me (not at me). I actually prefer this one to my local PO. I'll most likely try to come here instead to mail my packages.

That being said, I went in there to do nothing more than drop off a package that already had postage. No bin anywhere to do something like that, so I had to wait for eight people. Man, some of these people, this may have been the first time that they ever went to a post office in their entire lives. Actually, stood behind a guy that was asking to track a package, and he had no tracking number. He had no receipt. He was just like, "Well, man, I sent it through here. The clerk insisted the address did not exist in their system and that there was no way to mail it. I explained that I was certain the address was correct and suggested trying to put it in again, but the clerk was not interested in helping. I went to another post office and they had no issues with the address and were able to easily mail it. I recommend this location however always check with the hours they're open Monday through Friday 10 to 1 and then re-open 2pm to 4 pm even though it says on the website that they're open till five they close at 4 PM.
