    I showed up at this UPS store around 6:20 PM to return a few Amazon packages. Online it clearly…read moresays the store closes at 6:30, but when I got there, I was told I'd have to come back another time because the register was already shut down. Two other customers were also turned away at the same time. I needed to buy a box for one of the returns and was told I couldn't even pay in cash but apparently the register was completely closed before the actual closing time. If the store stops processing transactions before 6:30, that should be made clear somewhere, either on the door or online. It's a huge inconvenience to rush over after work thinking you have time, only to be turned away early. Definitely disappointing and not the level of service I expect from UPS.

    I had a terrifying experience at this UPS Store on Boston Street on Saturday, August 23rd around…read more2:50 PM, and I feel other customers should know. I was 30 weeks pregnant and came in to do a few Amazon returns while my husband and toddler waited in the car. I politely asked to use the gray cart to bring in my packages. One female employee said yes, but almost immediately both female employees started sharply questioning me: "How many boxes do you have?" "Is it a lot?" and repeating that the store closes at 3 PM and I should come back tomorrow, even though it wasn't 3 PM yet. To move things along, I asked if I could start scanning the QR codes while my husband loaded the cart. One of the employees responded rudely that whatever wasn't done by 3 PM wouldn't be scanned and I'd just have to come back. A male employee who seemed new tried to help and started scanning my first return, but when a second code didn't go through, the two female employees just stood back watching him struggle, clearly unwilling to help. Feeling frustrated but still trying to be polite, I rolled my items back toward the door and said sarcastically, "Thank you so, so, so much for all your help -- you've been extremely helpful, enjoy your weekend." One of the female employees(Lexi) then said, "F-her, I'm not helping her, she's being rude." When I turned and asked what she said, things escalated. They raised their voices, said they didn't care if I was pregnant, and one of them shouted: "I don't care if you are pregnant, I will smack the [expletive] out of you." My husband came in, worried for my safety, and told me to go to the car. As I was leaving, I saw one of the female employees come out from behind the counter and start throwing our packages. Another customer in the store was so disturbed that she yelled at the employees about their behavior and later gave me her contact information to support a complaint. This incident caused me so much stress that my OB has referred me to a cardiologist. I filed a complaint with UPS Corporate (Case No. C-0319717605), but because this location is privately owned, I was told by corporate there is basically nothing they can do. I was also told the store refused to provide the video footage corporate requested, and that they communicated to the owner to reach out to me, which she has not! As someone who lives in this neighborhood and shops in this plaza often, I now feel unsafe using this location and hope no one else has to go through what I did.

    So I ordered an iPhone 14 pro max from Verizon. (2 day shipping) by Friday when it was supposed to…read morebe delivered, they updated the delivery time twice. The first being between 12pm -3pm.. by 2 pm it was updated again saying it will be delivered by 7pm.. around 6pm I get an email saying an attempt was made.. I was off work that day so I know no one tried to deliver. I gave the benefit of the doubt and decided to pay the $5.99 fee to hold it at the facility on 6505 quad Ave, 21205. So I waited until Munday to pick it up. Got to the facility around 10am. Picked my box up, and thought (this feels light) as I'm going out the door I was so excited I started to open the box before getting to my car. I looked at the box and it looked like someone untapped the box and rolled the same tape back on, opened the box and it's only my apple watch which I ordered as well. Took the box back and spoke with the same clerk who told me the manager that deals with theft isn't in and he can only mark the package damaged. And then says "it's crazy that they took the phone and left the watch" and says they have an issue there with employees stealing. In a business to insure that you are not liable for things like theft why wouldn't you take precautions to stop it. There are too many bad reviews saying the same thing, it's bad for business, and frustrating to customers. And don't tell me it's nothing ups can do about it. Because there's a lot you can do.. it's called laziness and Unempathetic to the people you serve. If I didn't have to I would never use UPS. But I can't control where I buy things and who they ship with but I do know myself, I will never use UPS as a shipper. Terrible customer service, terrible driver service. The same Thing happened when I ordered my Samsung Z fold 3.. so disgusted!!!

    Who knew Baltimore even has a Science Fiction Society? And that it's been around more than fifty…read moreyears? This club is amazingly cool, at least for those who may view cool through a pair of 3-D glasses. Their clubhouse is a reader's delight, stocked floor to ceiling with books and manga. It used to be a movie theater, and they have occasional movie nights making it a perfect meeting spot for Dr. Who fans, anime enthusiasts and geeks of every stripe. And now that pop culture is mainstream, that includes just about everybody. Once a year BSFS hosts Balticon, the Baltimore Science Fiction and Fantasy convention, a precursor of today's mega-comicons. They bring together readers and writers, artists and vendors, cosplayers and fans of every stripe and it is a truly amazing scene. BSFS is also a tax-free charity, working with several literary organizations to provide books to underprivileged children among other things, so teenagers who need to fulfill their community service requirements can do so by volunteering at a science fiction convention.

    American twin Movers (ATM) Will treat your belongings as if it were one. I contracted them to move…read moreme from Alexandria to Fairfax. They quoted me a price of 2500. They took 11 hours to move me. That included their one hour lunch. They also, per their services offered, packed my belongings. The foreman wrapped each individual utensil separately. I did not have a lot of furniture to move. The bulk of the boxes were full of clothes. As it relates to furniture I had a coffee table, two sofas, a dining room table, four dining chairs, a kitchenette table, two beds, for nightstands, and a desk. I paid them a $50 tip. When I opened up the boxes at my new place they had stolen all of my high dollar clothes: Burberry, Nike, under armor, Coach, and several down coats. NOAM ISRAEL AND ISAAC Refused to take my calls after several attempts. Isaac was always on vacation. Be careful because Mr. Israel will curse you out. The movers were three Hispanic guys. they did not know that I understood Spanish. They talked terribly about the two individuals are named above. However, the two individuals aforementioned, stated that I must've lost my clothes. Impossible! they took very select pieces from my dresser and my closets. If I lost one coat I would've lost all of my coats because they were all in one closet. Do not use this company they are crooks. Isaac stated that he asked the guys did they steal my belongings and they said no. Go figure! Point did Israel really think that they were going to say yes.     These guys are running a scam. We were quote $2500 for a two bedroom apartment move to another…read moreapartment which was 4 miles away. After all said and done they charged the card $4600!! On top of that they clocked themselves at 830am but didn't get to the apartment till 1030am to start the move. They said they were looking for parking which is a lie, we had reserved the docking station for them. I will be contacting the Maryland District Attorney and also the the consumer protection agency. They charged the card without authorization too. I email them on Thursday and I haven't heard anything back. I would suggest everyone else's that have been ripped of by this company to contact the maryland district attorney office and file a complaint.
