I saw cars in line to take driver's tests and accidentally ran across the CDL driving test parking lot. Doh! I was here for my TSA interview. And I was totally confused. For one, you can't enter via the front door so, park in the back. Secondly, all the one-way streets had me going in circles. I understand the safety aspect of it, but I wish they would identify the direction on the backside of the parking lanes. It took me three times circling the parking lot to finally be able to park. There's a lot of handicap parking so, if you're coming from the back side, look for non-handicap parking on the lanes to your left. Once you enter the building, there's a lot to decipher so, come early. There are a lot of police so they might be able to point you in the right direction. If you're coming for your TSA Interview, you'll see the sign. The room is to the left when you enter. It looks like a small office, which it is. The representative was quick. I just wish those in customer service would remember the field they chose to work in. Communicate, engage, smile or something. I felt like I was intruding on her time and she was just going through the process. But hey, like I said, it was relatively painless. She took my fingerprints, took a picture, I paid and was out the door in approximately 20 minutes.

Once you fill out the required (by federal gov) info on the computer you are done and out the door with your med card in under 30 minutes. They treat you with Respect. They are not helpful, they make it harder, it's hard to hear them through the glass because there's music playing that's very loud and the number of people at this location was insane. I had an appointment and I still waited 45 minutes before my number was called and I was there on time. And then I had to go to another queue for other things to be accomplished and because the MVA system that I had made my appointment with didn't tell me that I needed additional paperwork filled out I then had to fill it out standing up in the back of the center and then figure out how to be added back into the queue to be called again. Then I waited another 45 minutes for them to tell me additional information that I didn't know and wasn't aware of to begin with. The MVA website is lacking too but the personnel at this location generally was terrible. The next time I need to go to an MVA location it will not be this one ever again. The runaround that I received here was terrible, the misinformation that I received when I came back to get my registration taken care of at a kiosk after I had completed my state inspection was wrong. I wasted a trip, I wasted time, valuable time. I don't recommend going to this location for anything you need to do regarding registering your car, getting a driver's license, taking care of your title, or anything else. There are much better locations to go to outside of this Baltimore City location.

I can't say enough great things about Beth at the Essex MVA in Maryland. I arrived with only about…read more10 minutes left in her shift, and I've felt that late-in-the-day pressure before, but Beth offered one of the warmest, most welcoming attitudes I've ever experienced. She made me feel like I was her top priority. She resolved several complicated toll issues, including an incorrect charge of nearly 70 dollars. What could have been a frustrating mess, turned into a positive customer service experience. In about 20 minutes, she not only fixed the errors, but I actually left with a $19 credit on my E-ZPass transponder. Her knowledge, efficiency, and attention to detail are extraordinary. Even more impressive was her kindness. Even at the end of what I'm sure was a long day, she never rushed, remained patient and professional, and kept smiling throughout. I wish I remembered her name, but she was extremely patient with us and very kind. I would definitely recommend them. Our temporary tags came in a timely manner, and she was very upfront about whether or not there would be a delay and even took the time to double check before giving us the wrong information.

Really?" Two weeks later, my mom happened to sell her car and needed to turn in the plates. Since I happened to now know there was a local place, I offered to turn in the tags for her. It's pretty easy to find, located in a tiny shack on Hammond Ferry Road in Lansdowne, The place is very clean, obviously brand new, and it was quick and painless. I paid five bucks to turn in the tags, received a payment receipt, and had the registration cancellation in my e-mail the following day. I imagine title work is more complicated, but when you have to do anything involving the DMV, it's nice to have options.

I am not ashamed of speaking Spanish but I was absolutely offended that just by my name alone they assumed I don't speak English. In Spanish, I told the Spanish speaking rep that I was surprised that I was transferred to them since I did not request to speak to someone in Spanish.
